One of the many things I love about Star Wars are the back story of characters that normally at first glance don’t appear to matter but in reality if you look closely your found they are more than a blank face which is cool and a bit unsettling
Absolutely. So many people just see the movies or some of the movies and think that there's no depth to the lore, characters or background stories. If you explore both the legends or cannon EU there's so much more there with even literal background characters with no dialogue have life stories and family legacies. The animated series deals so much with politics, culture, society's treatment of veterans, the glorification of war, PTSD, economic colonialism, client states, power dynamics, history, a variety of relationship types, corporatism, corruption, social and religious dogma and so many other things. Hell, the original trilogy was about fascism and America's genocidal wars in post WWII Southeast Asia and the prequel trilogy was (unintentionally) an absolutely perfect analogy for the neverending war on terror. The storyline between Palpatine/Anakin and Darth Sidious/Vader is the very definition of an inequitable power dynamic and the relationship between Padme and Anakin is the absolute definition of a toxic relationship. All of which was done with very precise intent, and, even though the prequel trilogy wasn't conceived of as an analogy for the War on Terrorism, the fact that it is such a perfect analogy for it tells you how intentional Lucas was with his political commentary. I'm not a fan who spends time hating on the Disney movies but them attempting to succeed at telling background stories by giving a story to the little thing dangling from the ceiling of the cockpit in the Millennium Falcon shows how unaware they were of what makes people love Star Wars. People didn't watch the prequels to find out why Luke's father wound up with a lightsaber that color and we didn't walk into the Force Awakens because we were overwhelmed with curiosity about what happened to Luke's outfit after Episode VI. For most people it's him killing Fives, a fan favorite. Though even then you can tell he's grappling with what he just did under the helmet with his body language.
I understand your point, but I think the thing that makes it understandable is lack of context on Fox’s part. WE as the audience know Fives is an innocent man trying to stop a master manipulator from destroying the republic. FOX, on the other hand is dealing with a visibly unstable turncoat who as far as he knows, has just tried to assassinate the republics head of state. He COULD have used stun, but at this point, he’s still on the side of the Jedi, and Fives has just pulled a blaster on the Jedi, Him, and his fellow men. Was it wrong to shoot him? Yes. Did Fox have the time to consider that in the split second between Fives pulling the blaster and Fox taking the shot? No. There’s also the possibility that he HAD it on stun, but the second Fives pulled and aimed the blaster all bets were off.

Later he captured their families and took them to a slave market. Voca fought under Vader at Atoa and executed several civilians and prisoners of war under his orders (and complied with those tactical orders that cost the most Imperial lives).

I feel like being in the corasaunt guard was just rolling the dice and losing hard. Thire seemed like a decent leader during ambush and caring for his men. But years off being in the millatary police probally removed any emotion he felt for the people he was affecting. It became just another mission. And I think the cycle went both ways, a new clone is assigned to the corasaunt guard. All the citizens hate him, he has no idea why and he starts to hate them back.
To be fair the brain chips were supposed to have brain washed all the clones completely, enhancing the violence in them, and making them more evil. That’s why clones like Keller were mean. At least that’s how it was until Dave filoni ret conned it.
It’s also unfair to judge the clones post order 66 since their actions were not their own. You could argue they didn’t have chips but the retcon established that all had chips this whole time. You could say Rex is evil for trying to kill Ahsoka

Maybe Thire probably have Ptsd after he saw Fives' death, he doesn't seen trust emperor palpatine after he order fox to execute fives, that's why Thire care about his brothers, hopefully He in The bad batch season 3 where he with Rex.
There is an enormous difference between loyal and obedient. Many of the most evil clones were obedient. Loyalty is not a faultable trait, these clones abandoned their loyalty.
What about Commander Bacara? I think he deserves a spot on this list. He's even willing to kill the troops under his command if it means getting the job done!
"Sometimes being a good soldier means doing what you think is right" Ironic that these words came from a man just as corrupt as the clones who blindly followed their own
I wouldn't exactly call Thire and Keller evil. Thire, along with the rest of the Coruscant Guard, did basically act like Palpatine's police force and subject the people of Coruscant to an invasive, authoritarian regime, but they were doing that because that was their job, and it was a job they loathed with a passion. If you asked any member of the Coruscant Guard if they'd rather be on Coruscant or the frontlines, I guarantee you 99% of them would've said the latter. Fighting for the Republic was what these guys were born and trained to do, and it's why they entered every situation as if it was a warzone, because they wanted it to be. It's why individuals like Thorn and his men were relatively lucky. They went out in a blaze of glory fighting against droids like a clone should, while Fox, Thire, Stone, and the rest had to endure being enforcers of Palpatine's totalitarian police state until they were decomissioned, and that's just a terrible gig. Keller also did brutalize an entire city of people in pursuit of two people, but that's due to him being extremely dedicated to completing the mission assigned to him no matter the cost - almost certainly due to his being a commander in the infamously hardass Galactic Marines. As for Faie... no arguments there, he was an absolute scumbag, devoid of all humanity, and he deserved far worse than what he got. I will argue the idea that these guys "would all have done better to follow the example of Sergeant Slick." No matter how justifable his motivations may have been, Slick betrayed his brothers and committed acts that directly killed them or put them in harm's way. And he did what he did knowing that would happen. I can totally respect a deserter like Cut Lawquane, someone who deserts from the GAR because they want no part in the war whatsoever and just want to live their lives as they see fit. But I will always condemn someone like Slick, who was so selfish and greedy that he got his brothers killed and put them at risk. That is something I can never condone, and especially not encourage.
Hey we don't hate all of the Coruscant Guard, Thorn is awesome and i would love to see him again if they have a series take place before season 6 of TCW
I will not have you slander the Guard! The boys in Red are heroes of the Republic. .... For real tho commander Fox 🦊 is my favorite clone trooper 'uniform wise' sh!t is dope

For most people it's him killing Fives, a fan favorite. Though even then you can tell he's grappling with what he just did under the helmet with his body language.
@@infinitymatrix5421im gonna sound like someone who cant cope with fives death but he had mass amount of time to put his gun to stun
"If he was ordered to kill all the children in the galaxy whit his bare hands, he not only would've done it, but he also would've become angry and indignant at anyone who tried to tell him he shouldn't be doing it"
Had Faie survived to see 0 BBY, he would’ve been excited to blow up Alderaan.
@@oriongear2499We do not speak of Alderaan around here.
I see no one mentions them, but Commanders Vill and Voca of the 501st qualify:
Vill fought against the Separatist resistance at New Plympto, and when the last Separatist soldiers surrendered, he executed them. Later he captured their families and took them to a slave market.
Voca fought under Vader at Atoa and executed several civilians and prisoners of war under his orders (and complied with those tactical orders that cost the most Imperial lives).
I think even Crosshair would've been reviled at the actions of these three clones.
Sensing a trend here. 2 of the 3 clones Yoda had with him have either tried to kill him, or were brutally subjugative.
I knew Commander Faie was gonna be in here, he’s an easy choice. Must admit though I’m impressed with the diversity in this top 3, I was expecting either Fox/Bacara/Neyo to be in here and I never knew about Keller until now.
Random person: *likes state power and believes in security and efficiency over liberty and equality
Geetlys and his fandom: OMG SO EVIL!!!
Uh... I'm no expert on military rules/regs, but isn't killing dozens of your own soldiers to take out one Jedi called *fratricide,* which is grounds for court martial and possible execution? I mean, wasn't Faie against breaking *any* rule? 🤔
That would require the clones to be considered people.
@@rosesweetcharlotte and they were considered as Sub-Human so….
Well he was so loyal that he was willing to end himself to get rid of the Jedi.
If you look up the real life definition of a psychopath and what requirements to be considered as one, Faire would meet a lot of those points.
There was one commander in the Coruscant Guard that was good. Commander Thorn. He was both a hero and a badass.
Don't you dare say bad things about Fox. The man was just doing his job!
So your saying that letting a bunch of senators be kidnapped and helping a bunch of CIS droids blow up corsant’s power grid is his job?
I was rewatching the episodes with Fox and Fox is literally doing everything right lol
One of my favorite quotes is good soldiers follow orders and these guys live and die by that quote.
It’s also unfair to judge the clones post order 66 since their actions were not their own. You could argue they didn’t have chips but the retcon established that all had chips this whole time.
You could say Rex is evil for trying to kill Ahsoka
“boohoo he kiled fives!reeeeeeeeeeeee’’
that’s what i hear whenever someone hates on my beloved shock troopers
Faie was insane.
He was the most loyal clone trooper ever made

I’m at my wits end with Star Wars fans calling Commander Fox evil. He was just doing his goddamn job!!!! 🤬
Tips make a video! Who was the most evil stormtrooper.
Every clone became evil when the inhibitor chip activated. That's the point of the chip, to hunt down every jedi with any means necessary
They didn't have a chip
@@EternalEmperorofZakuul And why do you think that?
@@Luckerchu333 because they did it out of their own free will, because the cloners in Kamino made sure they fought, and died, for the republic, and because these clones came out before that retarded chip retcon
@@EternalEmperorofZakuul Yeah lets keep "they are born evil" lazy shit, why not and the chips are canon so....
@@Luckerchu333 because the clones being poor victims of the plan and made them enemies of the jedi totally goes with rex's line that unlike droids, clones can make their own choices. In fact even Palpatine himself stated that clones with chips are retarded and preferred soldiers who followed orders without hesitation
As Kreia says, to be loyal to an ideal is to be willing to betray it (or something like that)

It definitely would’ve been interesting to see Keller & Faie in TCW.
It’s funny Keller wasn’t a victim of friendly fire with his fashion sense lol
Coruscant Guard is litterally my favorite clone legion, why must you hurt me in this way 😢
I wanna hate Fox but damn his armor coloring is so unique and cool
You should see Commander Thorn’s armor
I am surprised you didn’t include Fox due to your childish hatred of him.

Shout out to Keller, one of my favorite obscure clones
Don’t forget about Koho.
Appo, Neyo, Bacara and Crosshair are all pretty evil clones.
Crosshair did kill Stormtroopers and lieutenant
@@xavierterrelong9385 Crosshair is interesting because we sort of see him as ambitious and cruel as other "bad" clones, but he is also very much presented as a victim of the chip and the Imperial policies.
Appo!? Crosshair!? Being evil I think not.
@@rosesweetcharlotte I’m not sure ambitious is the right way of looking at it he’s just a dude born to kill droids and fallow orders it’s only recently that the ones giving him orders also don’t appreciate him because they’re racist against clones which is good enough reason to betray the empire I mean ask kallus in the not so distant future
The first three aren’t really that evil as they are military-minded and indifferent to the harshness of war. Bacara is very much a commander that wouldn’t be crying tears for a fallen brother like Red would and go on with his life.

@@deathblooms5186 TBF, I could see Thire setting up Security Checkpoints on Coruscant, either on orders from Palpatine or because of his paranoia.

Yeah I agree. I have a that dark horse comic with Faie so I know what how bad he is as well.

"Sometimes being a good soldier means doing what you think is right"
Ironic that these words came from a man just as corrupt as the clones who blindly followed their own
I wouldn't exactly call Thire and Keller evil.

I’m honestly surprised Thire was more evil then Fox. Though you could argue Fox is a saint compared to Faye
