    Great video to show the true speed and precision at this angle. This should be very sobering to the club player. The mens pro game truly is bazooka tennis. If you see these ponts, the server has total dominance. Also, any single defensive shot results in a put away in 1-3 shots afterwards. There IS ZERO margin for error. They are generating such explosive power and spin. Its amazing to watch.
    What I also like is their relative short term memory. When my club friends get a winner hit on then, they get upset. These guys just brush it off and move to the next point.
    Everyone's good and you gotta expect winners and amazing play

    Watching this it seems to me, when Murray gets proactive and attacks early in a rally he looks like a different (better) player. Sure he can still make his opposition play one more shot but is that where he sees himself challenging for tournaments again, scurrying around at the back of the court? He has a great all court game and I love to see it when he really thumps any ground-stroke he gets half a chance on and potentially follow it in. By the way court level is so much better to see all the variations of shot, spin, speed etc.

    Lol at the people criticizing Andy’s play in practice. Practice is where you try new things and generally go 75%. The dude can comeback, and this is in no way evidence to the contrary.

    As so many have said Andy looks slow, a lot slower then his old fit self. He should try going for broke, because the court coverage is a thing of the past it appears.

    • @Outerrythem
      @Outerrythem 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Murray seemed to hit a lot of shallow returns (on the opponents service line) which gave the opponent the opportunity to create angles and push Murray around the court, so maybe he wasn't so slow but had to cover a lot of ground. At least that's my arm chair opinion :)

    • @davidwalden444

      Asking Murray to 'go for broke' is effectively asking him to change his entire game, not as easy as you think

    Andy either needs to go super aggressive or give up tennis now.
    Hes too old to keep up this ridiculous defensive style standing well behind the baseline.
