Hello guys , we truly enjoyed your video. We moved to Hormigueros 6 years ago and we love it . We are on the western coast, close to Mayguez, Boquerón and Cabo Rojo and a 40 minute drive to Rincón. We started an Air B&B : The Villa Tranquil and have visitors from all over the world. There’s so much to do here , this is truly our paradise. Come back and and enjoy this beautiful part of the island 🏝️. Always welcome 🙏🏽 Maureen & Nelson ❤️🏝️🇵🇷
My wife and I want to live there so bad. I just don’t know if it’s realistic for us. We hate winter and love to surf. We visited multiple times and loved it but living may be different.
We are not fans of winter either! We spent two months in PR and feel we could definitely stay longer next time. The biggest issue for us is having a vehicle to get around. Lots of factors to consider. Thanks for sharing!
We stayed in Rincon, 3 BR, 2 BA house for $800-900 for a month. That included utilities and internet. Groceries at ECONO was , I thought, not much more than US. We ate at less expensive places and had a great month.
I am from Puerto Rico leaving in Rincon and Fajardo is expensive people the visit the island always make the mistake of renting in ricon Fajardo Isabella San juan...is more places like Levittown cataño dorado Vega vaja manati and is way more shipper dorado is where I live and is very beautiful place next time stay in one of this places and you will see a big difference on prices on average everything
Good information! Dorado is very pretty indeed, we drove through there. We almost stayed in Aguadilla but we had to change our dates. It was way more affordable than Rincon and Fajardo Thanks for sharing.
Just watched your Fajardo video as well. I understand you both want to live the best life as possible, in the best places with the best views, etc. However, if you would have considered staying just slightly in the outskirts of both places you could have saved close to half of what you spent. You paid tourist prices. The trick of the game is to pay local prices and live the tourist lifestyle. A short drive will take you to all those beautiful destinations without having to pay the high prices. PS: The southwest corner is awesome and less expensive.
Those are good points. Thanks for the nice comment. We booked a larger place due to family and friends who were supposed to visit and didn't. You're absolutely right, though, although you must have a car to do so. Most people can't afford to spend as much on a car rental (crazy high since our stay) for a month or more. Which is the reason we haven't yet planned our return stay yet. Hopefully, we can make it happen sooner rather than later. 😊 We plan on hitting the southern part of PR on our next trip. We did visit the lighthouse in Cabo Rojo when we were in Rincon. I'm not sure why I'll get around to edit the video, though. I'm pretty backlogged right now.
We're glad you like our pros and cons. We understand it can be quite subjective and we try to be unbiased. Although we really love PR so there is some bias 😉
Nomads i have been watching your videos, you guys are great 👍 hosts and made me fall madly in love with Puerto Rico enchantment island of the Caribbean, thank you for the information
Question: does insurance provided by the companies work in PR? If you were to relocate to PR for more than 6 months/year would companies be opposed? Could it be a possibility?
Hi Luis, we rented our car for Sixt. Our first month was from the San juan location and the 2nd month was the Aguadilla location. We had a really amazing deal on our rentals which we haven't' seen since. Last we checked the prices for a month were now over $1400 😲
Rincon is hills belly land come to the metro area i said again hills bellys am from Carolina they were always jealous of metro area come to Carolina we respect 😂

@@TheWanderingHartz car rental is expensive which is why some people just buy a car and then leave it with family or loved ones.

Great video! FYI: Verizon is the only company that I'm aware of that does not have coverage in Puerto Rico.
We are glad you like it. Thanks for the tip 👍 about Verizon.
Verizon basically doesn't work here. Tmobile networks are best
It did once,by the 90's

Rincon es de rico look for housing in California it better
If you are doing a video you should be able to pronounce the name of Rincon where you live properly!
Why..... You go to Rincon?!? Go to the other towns that are like 60 percent less expensive in all aspects. Sheesh 🙄📢💪🦾🇵🇷
Rincon and Fajardo are expensive for sure. Next time we will stay in the smaller towns for sure! Where would you recommend?
Probably because the other towns are much farther away sheesh
Exactly
Geeze, why not stay in La Pearla, right?! It’s cheap! 😂
