I’ve spent the last 2 years of my life obsessing and learning the art of archery and in 2 of your videos I’ve learned more in 20 mins than I have spent countless hours watching videos. Thank you for the knowledge
Being basically self taught from TH-cam this is the first time I've ever heard of this method and I've watched a LOT of stuff. So THANK YOU Paige as I've always had an issue with the pin floating below the X when using a thumb release and now with the D loop 6mm lower it's very much better. Possibly the best tip I've had
@@michaelburrows7600 thank you!! I’m about to go post the second part as well! I have a few more coming so I hope they help! I was basically self taught through trial and error and then being on the pro circuit you hear different things from different people and always like hmmm I’ll try that! Some worked well for me, and other stuff I didn’t like but I always loved learning and trying different things!
Do you have a video where you do a full build set up? I’ve watched you do multiple one step things and it has been great. But It would be nice to see a video of one full set up. Even it is broken down into multiple videos but in order of what should be first.
Hi Paige. Thank you for your videos, they are always very inspiring. You asked us to send our questions so I have one ;-) . There is only a single point on the string where you can place arrow nock and that nock will travel in a straight line. If you place the arrow above or below this point, the nock will travel in an arc. I understand that placing the arrow nock above or below this point can improve aiming stability, but it causes porpoising, i.e. it worsens the flight of the arrow. The arch cannot by straightened into the line by height of the rest because the rest does not affect the movement of the string and therefore the movement of the nock Does it matter? Thank you.
Turning your loop and twist it higher, will make it work more on the upper cam. It will make the upper cam reach the stop a slightly bit sooner. And by locking the upper cam while the lower one is “ looser” will make you pull the riser more to the archer with the top. This will make the bow, the sight to have a less tendency to drop … That’s how I see it but I can be wrong
So the nocking points-height (loop) influences the aiming stability? I guess this has to do with the upper cam/limb working more or less then the lower? Did you start with a level setup, where the arrow starts in the middle of the riser (horizontally)? Did you start with the cams in perfect sync? Because changing the synchronisation of the cams must also influence the steadiness of your aim, afaik. Very interesting setup-procedure. I just try to understand why and what this exactly does.
Wouldn't the most stable position be the center of the string? Seems like you could measure that. If your d loop isn't center, it would throw the timing off, right? This is definitely an interesting tuning process that i have never heard of until today, but it makes sense as long as it's one of the first things you do. You would definitely have to set your rest height and check timing AFTER moving the d loop.
Ha you just made an off the cuff comment which was a light bulb moment for me.. nothing to do with tuning... leaving the arrow in the target where you lost your tip.. I have ruined three points now on a lost tip in target.. Next time I find it am leaving arrow in.... hahahaha... fantastic vids BTW am learning a lot...I copied your grip video and that has helped me as well.. thank you
Is this process used for the aiming part? Will you set up the sight after this? I'm not understanding this very well, I think, because the arrows seem to be going further down the target as you turn the d-loop up, which is to be expected, as you said.

Pretending that you are speaking to a 5-year-old, will you explain what it is you are trying to accomplish. I watched what you did, I'm just not positive what the end goal was. Thanks in advance
What have you or is the most you've had to twist your D-loop? The reason asking is , I twisted my up like 6 full turns an yes I had to move my peep also, I wondering now I may have moved to much , it's not holding worst but now my vanes are really getting close to my roller bar , any thoughts ?

@@isaiah3898 no not normally. If for some reason you have it like insanely tight, you don’t actually loosen it like you were going to remove it. Just grab the top and bottom and kinda twist them up and down just a smidgen. That will loosen them just enough that it’ll walk easy. Some people over tighten their d loops to where it separates their center serving. So if it’s like “that level” of tight that’s when it’ll need to be wiggled a bit before hand :)

Would you recommend doing this without stabilizers on at first to get a good hold without the weight, then add them on after based on one’s needs

how do you choose your anchor point?
I use nocking points on my string. To do this test i can't. Do you just use a d loop ?
Most people dont shoot enough to tell what their pin is doing.
