Ok this sounds crazy but after your description of Where I Can’t Follow, i am already crying 😂😭 I just have so many feelings about this book that I’ve never heard of and haven’t even read. Thanks so much for your recommendations lovey!💕☁️
Thank you for always highlighting so many Asian authors! I have found so many amazing books that I sadly never heard of before you talked about them. ❤️❤️
The Honeys sounds amazing and can I say, the covers from some of the books are drop dead gorgeous! Even though I don't read no where near the amount I want to, I really enjoy hearing your thoughts about books and novels. It's always a fun time!
excited to read fiona and jane and june hur's book! siren queen sounds so good! i'm looking forward to reading a bunch of the books i own like she who became the sun, velvet was the night and a bunch of older books and classics that i've owned for a while. best of luck with your reading goals! :]
I need to tackle my tbr before adding new releases but some of mine are Instructions for dancing, I’ll give you the sun, half a soul, and the girl who drank the moon 😊 it was cool to hear about your new releases you want to read
we have so many of the same books on our TBRs for next year and i guess i need to add the others to mine too!! great taste!! i'm especially excited for the girl who fell beneath the sea and fiona & jane since i just picked that as my botm for january!
I got so excited when you mentioned Anna May Wong! She was extraordinary. I can’t even imagine what her trajectory would have looked like if she hadn’t had to fight against such a racist and oppressive system. Will definitely be checking out Siren Queen! 💙
Fiona and Jane really excites me, just added it to my good reads! If you haven't already you should also check out the book / tv series "My Brilliant Friend". It focuses on the friendship between two girls living in a poor Italian town during the 50s and how their paths deviate from one another but they always come back to their friendship. Also love the kdrama "Hello My Twenties" such a cute story about female friendship!
I didn't even know what Gallant was about, I just saw VE Schwab and immediately put it on the tbr and submitted the requests to my libraries, lol. But after hearing your synopsis, I am ALL IN. So many exciting releases next year, I'm stoked.
My top three are Daughter of the Moon Goddess, The Red Palace, and The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea! I’m also excited for the 3 novellas by Ali Hazelwood. I just finished The Love Hypothesis today & I was really impressed!
@@cozymonica I actually bought it because of you! You mentioned it was Reylo fan fiction in one of your Twitch streams, which I was unaware of at the time lol. After that I just heard more & more people talk about it, so I was like, I have to see what this is all about lol
girl who fell beneath the sea's american cover is my absolute fave of next year! I also can't wait for another asian mythology retelling (this one is chinese) - daughter of the moon goddess by sue lynn tan, out jan 11th!
I'm going to regret watching this*. 😅 I always end up adding way too many books to my tbr with these videos. (*and yet, they're always my favourites...)
Would you mind recommending me a book to read in 2022? I really want to do the 12 books to read recommended by 12 friends in 2022 but I don’t actually have 12 friends 😅
omg yes! here’s a couple to pick from incase you’ve already read one: nevermoor by jessica townsend, raybearer by jordan ifueko, or warbreaker by brandon sanderson 💞

The Girl who Fell beneath the Sea is definitely my most anticipated read, and the only reason why I haven’t preordered yet is those gorgeous covers.
