Bro I’ve been wanting to do this to my car but im too scared to mess up but this video is really making me want it so do it , great content ! New sub 4 sure
@KraftingKars got 189hp so far..b20v..12.1 pistons 85mm...changing out cams to 2000 itr and skunk2 manifold..injectors were smaller than stock."lies from guy I bought them from" and hand victor x manifold, witch had to much flow for all motor..hopefully 220 plus when done.
When you place the things to hold the valve spring and stuff in place i used a flathead screwdriver with a bit of bearing grease so it sticks to the screwdriver PS my English is pretty bad so i hope its clear what i said😅
@@kraftingkars thank you the guy today told me that the newer jdm b16A Sir II from japan has dual valve springs head code pr3-1 I'll pop the valve cover and see

@@kraftingkars awesome thank you sir! Doing a similar build right now just going to use blox B cams. Maybe save room for something bigger as far as springs later. I appreciate your reply and thank you again.
Eagle h beam rods, wiseco 9.5:1 pistons 81mm. I'm going to be rebuilding/upgrading the bottom end soon and going with 82mm pistons and a cylinder support system.
Always a good idea to lap your valves! For my build I purchased brand new supertech valves, and got new upgraded brass valve guides pressed into the head by a machine shop. And since I had new guides, the valve seats had to be re-cut to match my new valves. If you want to replace your valves without getting new valve guides, it is recommended that you lap each valve to it's specific seat.
@@kraftingkars wow! Thanks! So supertech is the way to go? Im stuck between supertech and skunk2. I've read good reviews on both, but also bad reviews on both too...lol...
@@mongerz4732 I think they are both good products, personally I went with supertech because I ran them in my old d series and revved the piss outta that daily and never had an issue
this was most satisfying to watch. thank you for the content.
Congrats on the new house
Thanks Jonathan!

House tour! Catching up on my KraftingKars and its looking minty bro! Keep it up
Oh it's coming
I think you meant tight tolerances. Either way, love seeing how these engines go together.
Very awesome job, showing the process.
Thank you!
Welcome man, made it look easy. Lol
Loving the B series love
Oh yeah! Have you checked out our recent videos? engine has came a long way!
@@kraftingkars I’ll be sure too! Awesome
Hey bro thanks for this video! Damn makes me wanna do my own work on my B16a2 haha! Nice educational video much obliged!

@@Az-bseries sounds like a nice setup! High NA power would be cool!
@KraftingKars I'm relliving my youth, almost 50 used to do this s*** 25 years ago. Had a high 12 second CRX back in the day.
Congratulations my boy! So proud of you!!
I have never been more turned on by engine valves
4 years now how are those valves holding up ?
They never gave me any issues

Great tip! Your comment was well spoken!
What LMA did you use skunk2,supertech,oem or h22 with shim??
Skunk2 at this time. I actually had one snap on me so later I replaced them all with OEM!
I have no idea why this video uploaded early! But happy Sunday I guess! See you all on Friday :)
Do the washers at 8:11 need to be replaced? Will it leak if I reuse them?
I'd recommend replacing them, when you torque down the caps those washers get crushed to create a seal. It's a "crush washer" only to be used once
@@kraftingkars I see I shall be going to Honda parts once again. Thanks man
Great vid
Thanks man
Soothing to watch
Thanks!
I'm here before 1k subs wow
Man I can't wait for that day! We bust out videos every Tuesday and Friday
Man it’s a pain in the neck since I did mine on a stool lol and I got 8 more to go
Awesome content 👍🏼
Thanks brother!
What is the name of the tool you used to push down the springs to put the valve keepers in
HPT auto sport valve spring compressor
Did you try wiseco piston 6567m84 how is the perfofmance for b20b itr head
Epic, as per usual🤠
Well I aim to please!
How can you tell if you have dual valve springs or not
If you look closely at them you can see it is a spring inside of a spring.

Blox tuner stage 2
What spring seats did you use? 85lb spring kit also?
SEAT-H1002D those seats, and they are 70lb I believe

Did you have to valve lap?
Part numbers?
How much for this upgrade???
All of the parts you see in this video add up to around 700 dollars from Supertech.

1 of 3 top things I hate about building an engine, reinstalling the damn keepers.
Straight up!
what did you use to lube the parts? Is it just some motor oil?
Yep! When you go to put your cams in, I recommend Lucas assembly lube for that!
