      @KraftingKars got 189hp so far..b20v..12.1 pistons 85mm...changing out cams to 2000 itr and skunk2 manifold..injectors were smaller than stock."lies from guy I bought them from" and hand victor x manifold, witch had to much flow for all motor..hopefully 220 plus when done.

    Do the washers at 8:11 need to be replaced? Will it leak if I reuse them?

    • @kraftingkars
      @kraftingkars  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'd recommend replacing them, when you torque down the caps those washers get crushed to create a seal. It's a "crush washer" only to be used once

    Do u need to lap your valves?

    • @kraftingkars
      @kraftingkars  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Always a good idea to lap your valves! For my build I purchased brand new supertech valves, and got new upgraded brass valve guides pressed into the head by a machine shop. And since I had new guides, the valve seats had to be re-cut to match my new valves. If you want to replace your valves without getting new valve guides, it is recommended that you lap each valve to it's specific seat.
