Tavy@ a believe bobby charlton wanted duncan edwards to be better than george best! But bobbys knows deep down in his soul searching, George Best was in a class of hes own! No matter what angle he looks at it from! Best at only 20 was by far the greatest player ever to kick a ball. A mean just look at they goals he scored and from the angles he was at and the pressure he was under as he at times made you say "did he just do that there or am i losing the plot" alot of hes goals defies gravity alone! Then best goes round him like the way ye pass some one in a supermarket to then put it over the line. What fun!!! Know a cant imagine big duncan swerving and doing body fients with a drop of hes shoulder so good a dummy that sniffer dogs wouldnt find. That was the hard side of best. Then say all the delicacy would come out when he was 25 yards out he would chip the ball over a goal keeper who was maybe standing 2 or 3 feet of his line with exhibiting sublime execution gauged to the very inch! Best is maradonas favourite player and pele said he was the greatest he had ever seen! Enough said really!!!!
