    I remember this episode, the victim had it coming after he stole the identity of a WWII veteran who was a sniper and took out hundreds of thousands of dollars of loans which resulted in the Vet's house being foreclosed and him finding out when he was evicted.

      Jerry had a great Broadway career from 1960s thru 1980s.

      Probably a case of economy of storytelling. :) If a "Hitchens" was found in the bank's database, the cops would have to track down that separate lead, rather than immediately get on the right trail. Which would leave less time for the actual meat of the story (and less time with the great guest star of the episode).

They don't have any lines but they have to lay down and be fully relaxed and limp in uncomfortable positions for at the very least an hour or way more so they can get the right shots for the scenes. It's worse when they poke or move the body for other scenes and they can't react at all. No one really remembers them.

    Man, if I was his boss, I'd call out a SWAT team if he didn't show up for work. That's how regular and popular ole Lennie is.

    I know they didn't include this in the video, but my theory was that Andy got his coworker pregnant - hence the reason why his work let him go EIGHT MONTHS ago - and he took out all of that money to pay her child support. I thought either his wife murdered him out of revenge when she found out, or it was his pregnant mistress because he wanted nothing to do with the baby.

    If I found out that one of my employees surrendered personal information of a client without being compelled by a warrant, I'd string her up. This show does this all the time -- makes it look like the cops can just weasel information by telling someone it's "urgent", or threatening to get a warrant. This is not how it's done in the real world.

      You mean, a cop cutting corners? No, it literally happens every day. Let's not pretends cops aren't human talking to other humans. You get a pity story about some kids dying and all of sudden, everyone is tripping over themselves to help the boys in blue.

    There no fool like an old prideful fool. If the old dude just went to a lawyer, and swallowed a bit of that pride, he could've kept his house. You can steal a mans house online, but it can also be reversed online. At least he now as three hots and a cot for the rest of his life.

    • @WadeAlma

      He probably couldn’t. His son wanted to put him in a nursing home. If he let it be known he was scammed, he’d lose his house either way.

    • @fialee8
      @fialee8 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@WadeAlma First off, he prob should've been in an assisted care center to begin with, but once his pride wouldn't let him. Second, there is no shame in being scammed... as it happens to a lot of people, senile or not. If everyone who got scammed was sent to a home, we would prob have 1/3 less people walking the streets. Third, his son is a doctor who makes plenty of money. They could've sold the home and the son could've paid for any nursing home or assisted care facility. Lastly, even if they couldn't get the home back, they could've gotten at least fair market value as compensation, as the title company and maybe even the bank were liable. To get a home transferred legally, you need to have it notarized... which is an in-person event in which you have to show a valid non-expired ID.

    • @WadeAlma
      @WadeAlma 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@fialee8 First off, he was capable of taking care of himself. He did not need assisted living.
      Second, he felt there was shame. Especially since it would lead to him losing his house either way.
      Lastly, what does it matter if they got it back? The father was not going to be allowed to live in it. His son was effectively stealing from him. Not just his home, but his freedom.
      You sound like the son here. Entirely selfish.

      @@WadeAlma Let's see, he lost his home, too proud to tell the police or social services or his son to get it back (prideful old fool)... and then commits pre-mediated murder. Yeah, this guy is mentally sane and can take care of himself (in prison). Also, the son is a doctor, and could care less about the home (because if he did, he would be paying more attention to it, and it prob wouldn't been scammed).

    • @WadeAlma
      @WadeAlma 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@fialee8 Let’s see.
      He lost his home.
      If he were to tell anyone, he would be put in a nursing home. He would never get it back even if he told someone.
      He was capable of premeditated murder. Meaning he was not insane. It was planned.
      His son calls him once. During Christmas. Why would a loving son, call only once a year? Hmmmm. If he was worried about his father’s health wouldn’t he involve himself with his father more? Verrrry strange.

    May I share this with you, if you don't mind?
    God says in His Word in Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.
    I hope you already know Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, but if you don't know Him, you can know Him today!
    Jesus suffered, bled, and died to pay for your sins and mine, out of love for us!
    Salvation is in faith: you must first realize that you are a lost sinner and will die and burn in hell for all eternity without Jesus Christ.
    Once you see yourself, all you need to do is repent of your sins, and put your faith in Jesus Christ: believe with all your heart that He will forgive every sin and save you from hell. Ask Him to save your soul from hell, with all faith and all sincerity.
    If you have never gone in prayer to Jesus: repented of your sins and put your faith in Him, now is the time, my friend.
