Ritchie Coster as Mark Bruner was absolutely brilliant. He didn't appear much but for the short while he was the most creepy villain I have ever seen in any crime TV show. Period, hands down. I watch it over and over because it was done will such amazing skill he should have won an award. Plus the part of the taxi boss and other taxi driver was hilarious! Cossack!! Giggle
Briscoe's a straight shooter, fires from the hip, got the snub nose, he don't mess around. I always thought it was a great representation of his character. Only cop in the show without a glock. Probably a revolver to make forensic's job easier, no casings.

I got season 14 just for this episode. Ritchie Coster has so much range, it's insane!! After I rewatched "Bodies", I saw him in "American Gangster". Just outstanding!!!

It comes down to whether you want a safe society or one that gets vengeance. The Norwegians opted for safety. America, it seems, prefers vengeance, to Hell with safety.
Was this episode before or after the movie "Seven", cause this bad guy seems like he was trying too hard to act exactly like Spacey's character, but I know this is a really long running show, so I guess it's possible that this episode aired/came out before, if not the same time, or after the movie premieres in theaters...{starring Morgan Freeman, Brad Pitt, Kevin Spacey, Gwyneth Paltrow...}

Reminds me of Curt Duncan from When A Stranger Calls in 1979.
He disturbed the hell outta me, and I only saw him for a minute or two! Next level CREEPINESS! Kudos to the actor!
