- The day after signing his contract and appearing at his official presentation, Xavi Hernández has got straight down to work with his new squad, albeit withjout the players that are away on international duty. He also called on Comas, Mika Mármol, Álvaro Sanz, Ez Abde, Jutglà, Aranda and Ilias Akhomach from Barça B.
Barça president Joan Laporta also made a point of stopping by the Ciutat Esportiva to greet Xavi and the rest of the coaching staff and players, joined by vice-president for sport Rafa Yuste, director of football Mateu Alemany, director of the international area Jordi Cruyff and chief technical secretary Ramon Planes.

Yes he looks like good looking man that is ready to coach well Barcelona, so thats why the respect is up for him, when Pep Guardiola was himself 37-41 years old, when he was Barca coach. I still dont know why he is using Copa Mundial football boots, when thoese are the same football boots I used, but they were too thin for my foot, so it sometimes hurted wearing them and so didnt like them as much, but they were my only ones I could use, but they are no bit old, so I dont know why he using them, when it plays importance also that football boots are great for your foot, when I said In Pele movie Pele throw away his football boots, because they were terrible and then he started playing better, when thoese terrible football boots just made him play worse, when didnt go with his foot at all.
He is the most determined coach we have had in a long time.

Its the 28th of January 2024, Xavi just confirmed his departure at the end of the season. I want to say thank you to him, despite the drama that has been going on for some time now i am extremely grateful for all the beautiful moments. I've not had those moments of happnines under koeman or ernesto, Xavi created some beutiful football at his time here as head coach. The Supercopa finale will go down in history as one of the greatest games ever played by barcelona. Maybe the time wasn't right yet, but maybe it will be in some years. All the best, legend, and thank you for getting us out of the darkest time of our history. Much love

But when they know you, and you don't bring the succes they desire, you are put aside and a they will look for a fast replacement. The truth is, there are many issues assualting this team. There are also babies new guys playing football. They all need time to grow and mature in the sports. This will take time. Before the hill of succes can be ride, they must pass through the valleys below. Much wisdom and tactic given to Xavi.

I am of the same opinion. But unfortunately, in today's fast growing and utterly competitive world, there seems no room for time to grow. Every manager has been asked by the club, fans to deliver right from the beginning. But, every scarily successful team were nurtured for atleast 3 to 5 years, for example, Liverpool of 2017-19, Bayern Munich of 2019-till now.
True, it's OK to loose but come on dawg the way Barca were loosing under Koeman is disgusting..

Iniesta is grateful for playing in Japan. At the same time as playing, he utilizes young and talented players to teach them how to move. And, like Furuhashi's example, it gives me the skill and opportunity to play in Europe. I am looking forward to returning to Barcelona as a coach someday.
