Very interesting device and a good review. Its a shame that it isnt battery operated. Manufacturers seem to give little or any thought to the positioning of power inlets. Why isnt the power port at the rear so it coild be embedded into a wall? Nobody wants to have an ugly power cord dangling down their wall. Regarding detection, how srnsitive is it? Would it detect a fly for example ir a dpider walking actoss the face? Whar about rodents? Or egen pets (dogs, cats etc)

It's a Human Presence Sensor so its designed to detect larger objects such as humans, dogs etc. The sensitivity level is adjustable and is not overly sensitive. The detection sensitivity of radar sensors are alot more accurate then the PIR sensors so less susceptible to detecting bugs, that is one common problem with PIR infra red sensors and is one reason why I prefer Radar over PIR
