What about Copyright Problems? & how long it take on average? Copy right is the biggest Hurdle to go through. if You are copying other people's videos and eventually copyright strike will hit your channel.
As long as your short is original. They can’t copy right strike you. I mean they can but, they normally theres litterly those of channel that do this. Plus if something were to happen you have the Knowledge to start another one and keep it going. They can’t stop us from getting this bread dogg
Yes, I was wondering that myself as well. Here is my take on this topic:
Of course you have people telling you “fair use”! But in my humble opinion, these kinds of shorts are definitely not fair use.
So how is it possible for all these channels, that even (in some cases) just copy and paste fragments of long form content, can make money off of it? Well for the copyright owner it is also beneficial. That channel is also getting more attention. So when you do this always give credit to the channel preferably with the actual video in the description.
And yes, some channels are okay with this and some are not. For instance MrBeast. I don’t see a lot of “MrBeast clips” channels. I think because he has his own large shorts channel. So if he would allow this than it would hurt his own channel.
So yes, it is always a bit of a gamble. So make sure the copyright holder also benefits from it and try not to do it from channels who have their own large clips channel.
And I mean, there are so many of these channels. And I can tell you for sure that probably less then 1% has actual consent from the copyright holder to use their footage.

When you decide to do this always credit them so people know where to look and the original creator benefits from you using their footage.

pictory dosnt have the option to make only 1 speaker in thier "edit video using text" feature , thats why i cannot merge sentences from other speaker and make it 1 short of 2 people speaking , if so , what you reccomend to do ? how to solve it? thank you :)

How do you find out how much a TH-cam channel is making? I see you share several channel's views and earnings. How do you do that?
Well it’s a guess based on average cpm’s and my experience. It’s very likely a channel with a decent following is making in total approximately double the amount of the add revenue.

Not directly, however there are translation tools out there! So this will add one extra step.

Well yes and no. The thing is that there are a lot of creators that allow you to create shorts from their content if you credit them. This way this will give them more publicity which is also beneficial to them. Andrew Tate is a great example on this.
However if you want to monetize these shorts I would suggest edit them more by for instance adding B-roll footage so TH-cam doesn't see it as simply reused content. @@sebastianmadlan regarding your question about why you get more views on TikTok and Instagram then TH-cam; that is difficult to say. All three platforms have different algorithms... If you are talking about the daily show by Trever Noah highlights maybe because they are posting their own shorts on TH-cam and not on TikTok and Instagram?
@@sebastianmadlan Now regarding the copyright issue. This is not very surprising. The thing is, editing existing long-form content into a short even with crazy amount of B-roll, sound-effects, subtitles and so on is not going to give you the right to use the content. A lot of content creators allow people to make shorts from their long-form content because it is beneficial to them. They will get more publicity in return. For instance with the Joe Rogan Podcast and with Andrew Tate. They both can greatly benefit from a lot of exposure on social media.
Now if have taken a look at The Daily Show TH-cam channel (www.youtube.com/@TheDailyShow/shorts) and they already post their own shorts. You have to ask yourself do they benefit from you also posting shorts based on their content? They are a very large organisation with theams dedicated to making content so I don't think so. You are only going to take views away from their content and not bring them views.
Another example is MrBeast. He has a separate dedicated shorts channel. Their are very little MrBeast Highlights channels because they probably all get copyright strikes. What is going to be the upside for MrBeast if somebody is going to make Shorts from his content? Very little, it's not like he has to have a lot more publicity.
So it is always a gamble but if you are seeing more channels on a topic you will probably be safe.

You cannot earn money from this now. TH-cam is cracking down on channels using faceless, ai voice, and repetitive content. You woulf also have to do an unreal amount of editing to MAYBE avoid copyright problems.
Don't lead somebody on to create these channels for months or years, only to not be eligible for monetization.

I get what you are saying. And thank you for sharing your view on this topic.
However, faceless and AI content does not have anything to do with you getting monetized or not. Repetitive content does have something to do with it. The thing is with the accessibility of AI nowadays it is extremely easy for people to produce repetitive low quality content. In result, you are now seeing a lot of these kinds of videos. Therefor everyone suddenly thinks that if you use AI to start a faceless channel you are not getting monetized. The truth is that if you where making repetitive low quality content manually you where also not going to get monetized.

And last, if you try to make a shorts channel and have to spend months to years to reach the monetization requirements.... I think it is better to quit. I strongly believe you will have to reach the monetization requirements within 3 months. This isn't a "build a strong following" game. This is the "go as viral as possible" game. And this is definitely possible even if you have 0 subscribers.

Some creators prefer this because they cannot buy the kind of exposure that 10s of short clip channels can produce. It helps them in the algo. More commercial channels like late night shows will copyright you right away tho

Well, you can. Please take a look at the examples I give. A lot of people are doing this. There are even channels which only put subtitles over videos and get monetized. However I would strongly suggest you put the clips into a editing software like CapCut and incorporate a few more unique elements.
