I just posted a short yesterday and it got 0 views and was not shown in feed by youtube. The only thing I did different was I posted from PC. Is there a correlation?

Love the content! I assume it helped yours go viral since 75 percent! of people viewed vs swiped away. I have a video with almost 100 percent retention but only 45 percent of people viewed vs swiped… but it’s still young so maybe it will go viral later. But I assume the algorithm rewards the videos with lower swip rates.

Bro will you create a video on your analytics. I think most of the basic starting points are already knows most of the creators. But the thing that bothering them is the actual analytics of viral videos because new channels dont have that experience in the first place. My video idea is for you is go through your videos choose viral and low views and their deep analytics. Im asking this because most of the creators are young and pro editors. They do have somekind of knowledge but they dont have the experience of major channel and their analytics. More advanced analytics please. Thats my humble request.

Doesn't work though... I work hard on original content just to fi. see my latest short have an audience retention of just below 200% (AVD) with a clickrate of 98%.... No dislikes, quite a few likes and a few subs. According to this video a recipe for going viral. But nope, the algorithm called it a day at just 200 impressions, end of story. And that's no exception unfortunately... I have dozens of shorts with great analytics, yet hardly any impressions from the algorithm. Not after a day, week, months... they just flatline and die.

As for the software, I use cap cut and it does everything I need it for and I've got comfortable with it already so it doesn't really make sense for me to switch now. Thank you for the sub!

Same thing has been happening to me but then when I woke up today 3 of those videos with no views went up to a couple thousand views

Keep in mind, you won’t make the same amount of money doing gaming shorts as someone doing financial shorts

Thank you Jack. really sums up everything about shorts creation. i have a question if you could clarify. would you filter the video by creative commons in youtube when you are downloading them in your system to edit them? or not? if we do that, it doesnt leave any good content for editing and if we do, wont there be copyright issue?

2. Get an inspiration from searching shorts in your niche to get viral in first 5 shorts.
3. Find source clips to use within your first short.
4. Make edit from downloaded video.
5. Editing time.
6. Aim to achieve high retention because retention is the key metric behind any short go viral.
7. Add trending music to your Short.
8. Export the short in the highest quality and upload it to TH-cam.
And finally get 0 views?
