- I posted 20 Short-Form videos on TH-cam Shorts, TikTok & Instagram Reels to see which platform gives you the most views. I did this all in two weeks and in this video I'm going to show you the results!

I've just started my channel recently and I've explored all avenues, TikTok, TH-cam, Instagram and even Facebook Reels. Out of all of them, Facebook actually has given me the best results with 2.4m views in a little over 2 weeks, 300k on Instagram, about 40k on TH-cam and just over 4k on TikTok. It's interesting how the results are so drastically different, with Facebook getting 600x more than TikTok and 60x more than TH-cam so far, I'm not perfect in terms of trying to edit each video for each platform but its interesting to learn about

@@AI-pocalypse Thank you! I'm a bit baffled by it all haha! Yeah, they're the same videos, posted all around the same time (few minutes between) but with TH-cam they seem to take exactly 6h before they get pushed out to anyone so I wouldn't say it's exactly the same, I'll be trying next week to post the videos 6h before on TH-cam and see the results.

@@hang.inVietnam To my knowledge no, since it's original content that I'm making I should be fine earning/monetising on every platform, but I'm not an expect on this
@@weirdypedia Yes, I have the same thing with TH-cam. I don't think it makes a difference at what time you post. TH-cam always takes a few hours before it pushes the video in the algorithm. This is then the first test and if the results are good it will keep being pushed. However when you have gathered a bunch of subscribers you do want to see when they are watching your videos the most. And then you want to post exactly at that time. This will give your shorts a great boost at the start which is a good sign to TH-cam.

Very interesting video. I've started uploading shorts on my channel within the last 2 weeks and realised that videos that I made and edited do significantly better than videos made by AI. I'm not sure why but it's consistent and there's something to it. The retention is a lot lower on AI made videos. More people swipe away on those videos and they receive less likes and comments.
That’s interesting! I think that a lot of people use these methods now. So people will see lot’s of videos with the same “AI” style. So it’s important to give it your own spin. You always want to adjust things a bit.

What kind of videos do you want to make?
@@AI-pocalypse roblox videos, although i havent been playing lately because i found it a little boring. I was thinking of some kind of cinematic/dramatic video.
Not sure why I'm not getting any good views in YT shorts 😢 i also have AI channel. Most video tutorials even new channels for testing purpose like this are getting good amount of view, but not in my case. I'm quite frustrated.

@@StefanoDonatacci07 my 1st 3 vids were like a proof of concept using my house renovation content & all uploaded on day 1. The viewers watched all 3 which tells me it’s worth pursuing. Because of my limited time & experience, I’ve chosen to hire/use outsourced workers to make the actual videos based on my first 3 prototypes that I uploaded. In about a month I will begin uploading 1 video 3 days per week until I reach 50 videos and I’ll assess again. I also have a 2nd channel I’m doing the same thing with. To be continued…

No I decided to use that channel for a different experiment (because you can only have 2 verified channels for every phone number) and I needed a verified channel for custom thumbnails. So I put all those videos on private. The channel is now called @Dutch_Lifestyle.

To be honest people are looking at this wrong. Short form content can be brand new like this bot made, such as the fun facts, but what they really are good for are clips. Sharing clips from your long form content to bring in audience that enjoys that topic.
Sure! However it’s also a great way to kickstart a channel. Get some subscribers and then transition to long-form content.

Hey, this is the channel I am working on right now but I cannot monetize it because TH-cam says "reused content" even though I edit it myself.. Is there any way to fix this?
Yes sadly this "reused content" rule is still a very grey area. There are a lot of channels that simply get away with only adding subtitles and cuts between scenes. However TH-cam will always look at how much effort someone puts in their edits. I already have heard of creators having to make a video on their editing process to show TH-cam it is not reused.
I also know that these gameplay edits are something a lot of creators have difficulty with getting monetized. In my opinion I think that TH-cam thinks that you don't put in enough effort to edit them. Maybe you could ask TH-cam for an explanation?

I know for a fact that adding B-Roll footage and other elements will increase the likelihood of getting monetized a lot. However sadly there are also no guarantees with this method....
And I would always try to look at affiliate marketing for other monetization strategy's!
Stop reusing content and thinking you added value by editing something that already exists. You aren’t supposed to be able to profit off of using someone else’s likeness or image. Do things the right way.
An additional way to add value might be if you open each video with an Ai narration describing the ‘lesson’ that the viewer is gonna learn from watching that particular video.
I see some of the same results as u but for me TikTok love my videos, not one vid under 300 views and up to 4 or 5k pr video. TH-cam don't know if they like my stuff everything from 8 views to 2k pr video but insta don't like me at all max views 156. I post the same videos on all 3 channels.

Well it's not about the method you use but the content you produce with that method. If every video you produce with your method is unique and looks different from the last you should be fine. Quality is also something you should strive for!

No never... I actually don't do much with Instagram. And afterwards I dove a little deeper in the instagram algorithm but I still have no clue why I only got 1 view....

Yes it is! Using an AI voice is not something you are not getting monetized for. Repetitive content is... And most people use AI voices for repetitive content. Therefor a lot people think that if you use an AI voice you are not getting monetized.

Well that depends largely on your audience... I would suggest you post at least 10 to 20 shorts to see when people are watching your shorts the most and then post them at that time!

This channel is mainly focused on tutorials. And I don’t think Shorts fit this style very well…

Don't give up and give it some time, I had videos on a previous channel that had 0 views for over a week then one day they started to get sent out and they reached over 6k views. The algorithm works in mysterious ways

I have a question, maybe you have some knowledge about it. Since I started the channel out of curiosity, more for testing than with great aspirations. I relied on AI and Fliki, but it's probably not for me due to my experience in editing. Fliki is great when it comes to voiceover, but the video is what it is xD Now the question is: Is it better to start a new channel and begin with better quality, or should I continue with what I've already started and improve the level?
@@marcin17b15 glad you’ve got the views coming in!! keep going with your current channel, it’s good to learn and grow over time, look back on where you came from. If you really don’t want people to watch the videos just private them. But I’d say to stick with that channel.
