On February 2, 2023, police responded to a residence regarding a bond violation in Eau Claire, WI. It was revealed that a male subject had broken his bond regulations by entering a residence. He also had an outstanding warrant. When the police arrived, he attempted to flee on foot but was soon apprehended.
The purpose of the featured content is to show the law enforcement interaction. It is NOT to publicly shame, ridicule, or degrade the individuals involved. Today’s world is swarmed with politics and conversations that are often misleading about our law enforcement officers. So the cops violated Constitutional rights again. The officer even threatened to shoot the person. Have we forgotten that you are 22 times more likely to be shot by a cop than anybody else. In fact, there was no warrant. That was all made up. Cops again violate the laws. How long are you going to support the criminal police. You know that the police are taught that once you walk out of your house you become an instant criminal. However, you still want to support stupid cops that violate the law like this video shows. the person that these officers illegally arrested need to sue the police officers and the police department. The cop doesn't even know about the warrant or what it is about which means they don't have a warrant. These officers need to be arrested and put in prison. The cops are filthy pigs. In fact, the police are not even obligated to serve and protect. The cops violated the law, and you Code Blue Cam supports these filthy pigs. That figures. THERE WAS NO WARRANT. If an officer tells you to stop you don't have to stop. The cops are violent. it isn't violent to resist arrest. You can do that, but these stupid cops don't even know that. Do some future checks and you will find out that this person is out of jail, the cops have been sued, and will soon be fired.

Or, make it clear to the victim that if the animal comes back, and suddenly he has extra holes in him he didn’t have before, no one will be asking too many questions. The recidivism rate of this option is quite low.

I think you guys are confused. Released ON bond, not charges dropped. Yes it’s a joke that they can put back into society, but once he has a court date his ass is very much gonna serve some real time
He had a warrant from corrections, violated a bond he was already given, then caught new charges and was let out on another bond. Our system is so screwed.
Could be for a small.error, he could have mitigating factors that allow a lenient bond. He is not CONVICTED. bonds are designed to ensure a suspect shows to court by making them invest in their freedom. They are supposed to be able to get out, that's the whole purpose of the bond. You like justice right? What if he was innocent, or you are there while innocent? Seems like you think you should be kept in jail on arrest and accusation, no trial or verdict or judge required.
Maybe DO NOT think the government is your protector who will do everything? Freedom and fair justice has inherent danger, kind of like how driving does. You like roads and driving? Should it stop because people crash and other people are dangerous?

I think it has more to do with people not taking responsibility for their actions anymore. Like the excuse, "I didn't know that would happen," when it's the obvious outcome is absurd to me. @Bearded BDub we had an inmate in county who got transferred down from max to a med dorm. The max was single room, private toilet. Dorms were open toilet. Apparently he had some mental issues and was afraid to get off his bunk. A few days in and that dorm was smelling worse than a Porta pot at the end of a 3 day dead show. He was in there five days before he had to be removed. The inmates who had to clean that one up were not happy. After a man stews in his own feces for 5 days it's not pretty. His uniform was stuck to him in places 🤮

That’s literally not how any of that works… you’ll see it when we get to the jail. We don’t carry big filing cabinets in our cars with everyone’s warrants 🙄

Not in defense of the idiot, but in the 21st century, all of that is in a computer file. However, it isn't the LEO's duty to show anyone their specific arrest warrant at the time they're being apprehended. That'll happen when they get to wherever they're going (I've never been in any trouble with the law, so am not familiar with post arrest procedures, for the most part).

While you may think that, the warrant is entered in to the state computer as a digitalized version, but it is not a PDF version. it is just text and does not show a signature from the judge. Its a digitized version that says "hey, so and so has a warrant. please detain and confirm on the warrant." Contrary to popular belief, we DO actually have to keep a physical paper copy of the true, actual signed by the judge, warrant. The physical copy is what is served once the person is at the jail. The physical copy, by law, is to be kept at the office and will be presented to the arrested once at the jail.

To be fair, one of the times the cop shouts "stop resisting!" he is also tasing the perp. Your muscles freeze up / involuntarily move when you are being tased. Yes this guy is a criminal and ultimately broke the law, but someone needs to properly educate these cops on what tasing someone actually does to them in a real world scenario. This is something very commonly seen in these police videos: cops that shout "stop resisting" while tasing someone.

Same. I started watching active self-protection about 4 or 5 years ago out of morbid curiosity and it really has changed my entire worldview concerning police activity and self-defense

I have a security screen door on my house and it's a simple flip of the lock and you aren't getting in. The screen is too far from the lock to reach it, especially with the front door closed. Don't just keep wasting money on locks, upgrade and protect yourself from this guy.
