What a captivating memento of the northbound portion of our recent voyage. Your account of the experiences, the scenery, the shipboard elegance and ease *and* OMG the food will remain part of our collection of memories. Hope that one day you'll experience the southbound voyage and document that for us as well! Safe travels.

In 2017 I did a tour of Scandinavia. I so enjoyed that trip. This video was so well presented. Thank you for taking us with you. Our trip was in May, so we didn't see the Northern lights, but did see the midnight sun.
Thank you for this great video! I travelled the Svalbard line just before you did. Fantastic that you saw the Northern Lights! We skipped Traena and Reine because of the strong winds. I was glad to be able to see your footage of those ports.
This is a great, really informative video! I was recently looking into this exact cruise so it was a cool coincidence that you popped on my recommendations.

Cruising the coastline any time that isn’t the summer risks bad weather and rough seas. And you might even get it in summer too. Or you might get glorious weather. It’s part of the deal ;)
How costly is cruise excursion to different ports. Do cheaper excursions are available at the port ❤ Return journey costs less, same route, or alternate? Liked the way you narrated your journey. Thanks, have a great time.❤
The southbound leg calls at different ports. You can see the prices for the cruise (northbound/southbound/entire) here: www.lifeinnorway.net/go/hurtigrutensignature
Perhaps the first departure of the season. But if you want to guarantee a lot of snow you should travel independently in the winter. Late Feb / early March when the sun is returning is a great time to visit
The cost varies a lot depending on which departure you choose and which cabin you choose. You may find solo deals but they seem to be less common on the signature voyages than the coastal voyage. You can see the prices for 2025 and 2026 here: www.lifeinnorway.net/go/hurtigrutensignature

Did a trip from dover to Svalbard two years ago on the Maud. It was brilliant. Huge fan of Hurtigruten. Cant wait for the next trip.
I would love to do an HX trip at some point. Watch this space!

If you loved the BKB then this will be right up your street, for sure ✅
When is the best to travel around Norway to avoid the snowstorm? I’m interested in cruising with Havila 😊

Thanks. To see snow in Svalbard, when would you suggest we do this cruise?
