They got trees for these for this size snd smaller works same way has laser when it's broken it starts the tree like a real one thsy stage then by doing burn outs on carpet or payment their choice thr electric ones are super fast
I was fishing in JBay and bumped into some folks running a r/c dragster there. It looks lie the same place. I was impressed with the quality but machines and the speed. Made my day..
Hi Mike I subscribed to your channel.. Im in NJ.. Not not familar with NYC or Brooklyn.. But after watching your videos and the gang of friends your club has acquired, It has caught my interest. I have a 1/5 scale Hpi Baha. I am interested in the dragster catagory. I hope soon, I can meet the guys and have a chance to race with the guys.. TC!
@@133levi Man, when I was only 8 or so we went to Floyd Bennet to fly planes. I looked across when I heard these dragsters and ran over. Asked my dad about them and he said custom built . I used to hang around the dudes there, super nice and enjoyed answering questions. This was in 1992 or so? Man, you guys been there 30 years, and also, shit Im getting older!
Just wondering. Does it really make a difference in you're ET or speed after doing a burnout to warm the tires? Or is that just something you do to look cool?
Is anyone still racing the 1/4 scale dragsters? I'm helping someone figure out a no spark issue with his Pacesetter Funnycar. Need info on the coil and module assembly and where to find one.
When kid they had one these at hobby shop at mall man I used want it but it like$ 699. But I'm shure there mutch more now but it had blown v8 on it thers some amazing mini builds to the ones who take the time to build these mini motors amazing reely cool
Funny, the Mustang has been very successful in both SCCA and IMSA racing going back decades winning numerous championships along the way so has the Camaro. Chrysler Cuda and Challenge, not so much. Of course that's the real world not the internet were races are won by imagination and keyboards.
They’re very interesting. Have seen others like these but they all would have to have a quarter scale racetrack (finer ashphalt) to make it truly realistic.
These things would be absolutely sick with a small two cyl snowmobile motor...maybe somethin out of a 250 sno pro sled. 60+ bhp out of a 1960's era motor.
Amazing!!
I'm surprised these guys can race during an earthquake...

All yall need is a drone view and yall Gucci. Views through the roof.
Lmao
Wow I had no idea that anything like this even existed that's awesome
If you can think of it, it exists in RC. Look at the channel flite test... They made a toilet fly. And a kayak.
Been around since the 80s .
I'm on it this great it all positive
I don't even like saying the word hate but I really hate the haters....some people are just really ignorant of what other people enjoy. .

I enjoy plastic chairs.
If you hate a hater does that make you a hater?
shmikeyify A hater hater. That's a pile of hate.
I hate the hater that hates haters, that's what I enjoy.
Very cool. Lots of know how, work and cash goes into those things. Definitely need a 1/4 scale tree now!

Race starts at 1:35
Candyfloss actually 1: 36

one word SWEET i am an drag racer now been racing over 33 years and still love it
Wait really? I’ve always wanted to race on the race track how is it?

i was today years old when i realized rc dragsters exist! thats freakin cool as hell
Never have I ever seen something I wanted in less time than an actual Top Fuel Drag car consumes fuel!
My Nitro Rc cars use “top fuel” they use nitromethane which is the exact same stuff Top Fueler drag cars use 😂
@@Tywild327 but they don't burn as much as fast. they run through about 17 gallons per run.
My husband an i just finished watching your video of your 1/4 scale dragster race we thought that was pretty cool 😎😎🙂🙂
Imagine that crashed into your toes
Bare foot?
I can’t stop thinking about it now
What toes 😳
Ehm no. Better not.
Toe nails go flying
incredibly steady camera work
😂😭😂
Cool, but shouldn’t they put a frog or something in the cockpit?
Car looks awesome! Would love to see one with one of the mini v-8 motors with a blower that you see on youtube.
I am sure that a lot of work went into building those dragsters, now a 1/4 scale tree is in order. BTW, love the burnouts!
Wasn’t that a tree laying under the table?
Great powerful Models. So Amazing. Good work
Why lie?
Mom, can I have that for Christmas?
Geezes mans got dusted
Silver dragster:how’s the weather back their???
Other dragster:oh it’s bad now that you put dust in my mouth :/
does T/F on the wing stand for tiny fuel ?
do you know how fast they go?
these things are crazy fast. man imagine one running it your left at max speed??? broken bones I bet.
No cap I was saying the same exact thing before starting the video low and behold some one thinking just like me

Awesome work building those.
Beefalo Bart. Lol there bought. Even traxxas which makes rc cars 3x faster then this (120mph) makes a dragster version suprisinglly these are slow..
I love to see my brothers smiking and having fun in life 😀💪❤
OS Twin Nitro and two speed gear box.
Light bulb?
That was really cool, much better sounding than the full size electric cars.
wow.. dudes.. first time i've ever seen drag racing RC... cool man..
back on topic, did any 1/4 dip into the 3 second bracket this year? there does'nt seem to be a big difference between the 1/5 and 1/4 times..

Just wondering. Does it really make a difference in you're ET or speed after doing a burnout to warm the tires? Or is that just something you do to look cool?
+spidersinspace Warming the tires makes them grip better
+Scott McDonald Thats only if it can brake them lose from the ground? And I really doubt it can so there's no point to heat them up !
My favorite part is the huge muscly guys that showed up to this... I was like WTF i didn't know that this was that big of a deal
Yeh, because you know the bigger the guys are, the more of a big deal it is.
Is anyone still racing the 1/4 scale dragsters? I'm helping someone figure out a no spark issue with his Pacesetter Funnycar. Need info on the coil and module assembly and where to find one.
McCulloch or Quadra engine?
I assume it's not nitro since you mentioned coil/modual.... unrelated question but Is it the tube chassis ?
Those are what I would call real dragsters. Awesome guys.. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I just got rickrolled from a insaurance company ad before this vid
You won't be smiling when mamma realizes that the engine is missing in her weed-eater!...

Fuck u
Oh Billy
I dont care who you are, now those are some badass dragsters.
Good answer. You’re right! Engines are engines no matter the size.
Cool. Wonder what the top speed was for three winner? Also wonder how much money goes into one of those?
If you close your eyes, you'd think they're racing weed wackers.
You mean hondas?
I watched this, now I'm taking apart my chainsaw
....did u put a vibrater to ur hand?
What sort of engines?
I’d like to see one of those micro v8s in these ,
love the 1/4 burnout
Wow look at the smoke pouring off them slicks!
put expansion chamber and you double the power
Dream on.
it woukd literally explode
on the exhaust, 2-stroke stuff
Very good guys, this is the wit that I love. Have fun!!
Where can you buy these 1/4 scale dragsters ????
I'm glad you guys had fun.😁👍
how much ccs do these bad boys have
Gotta work on that 2 second reaction time right lane.

Thought that was chief for a minute at the end of the video. LMAO
So do you go 1/16th of a mile instead of a quarter mile?
Still takes a turn better than a mustang
Lol yep mustang thsts what my charger enjoys for lunch
So f ing true

that burn out was funny as hell

How the heck can you see that so far. Awesome
Fastest chainsaw engines I ever heard in my life!!!!
What kinda fuel are you burning and compression ratio.
They’re very interesting. Have seen others like these but they all would have to have a quarter scale racetrack (finer ashphalt) to make it truly realistic.
Where's a good place to get one of these dragsters? I don't even see them advertised in the RC catalogs
They are built to order

Where are you guys located? Looks like fla
do they do a 1/16 mile drag race ?
Looks like a Whole Hell of a Lot of Fun ! ! !
Do they race to 100 metres?
What kind of power are these little motors making?
holy crap, this is cool as hell,, where can I get one?? how much to have one built...someone tell me!!!! I want in on this

are these limited to a maximum cc? Are there different classes?

What were the two dragsters times?

When are they gonna have 1/4 scale nitromethane dragsters?
Wow, that's really cool!😎
How’d they get them
back?
These are bad ass!! Are they running on 2 stroke gasoline motors? What Size Engines are they? They really sound good!
Where are the start lights?
laying under the table being useless
is there any with 2+ speeds like on the smaller 1/10 r/cs
?
1/4 scale? Doesn't seem correct, a top fuel rail dragster is only 4 times bigger than one of these?
i think it is correct, they are bigger than they look in the video
@@tobycorrigan Top fuel dragstaers are 25 feet. I've seen these in person, they are about 6 feet long. they are 1/4th scaled
Welp... researched top fuel dragster RC cars. I guess that's what you get :) Top level Nerds!!!!
What, no line-locks for the burnout??????
For being dragster there ain't a whole lot of acceleration... I think my 4tec with a 3.3 could hold up with these, until the rod splits
They looked kind of slow to me 😊 Nothing special about them engine's also
These things would be absolutely sick with a small two cyl snowmobile motor...maybe somethin out of a 250 sno pro sled. 60+ bhp out of a 1960's era motor.
Where could you buy one of these?
Well there are custom built.you can contact me directly nitrostreets@gmail.com for more info
thats cool dudes. are you guy srunning large nitro motors? check out that mini nitro v8 on you tube. that thing would be perfect for those 1/4 scales.
They are cool. I think they are closer to 1/8 scale.
Bunch of big kids. Just like me.😁
Great stuff!
a tuned pipe will really help that out and some porting of the jug. nice model

I recommend the Jato 3.3 if you want nitro powered or the Slash 4x4 VXL if you want electric.
No Wheelies?
Those are just bad-ass ! There's really no other way to put it.
What was the distance?
330ft
where and how can i obtain one of these 1/4 scale rc draggsters
how fast is it?
