Remember when she met Louis, who pretended to be a driver, so she thought Serena was the one getting a date with a prince, she got so jealous, she pushed Serena in the fountain. And when Blair found out it's Louis who's a prince, she immediately started fawning over him. I don't hate Blair, but she is always so insecure around Serena, which is why they have so many conflicts. Serena may be charismatic and pretty, but I think that people tend to underestimate her intelligence. She's trying so hard to become more independent and to find herself, it's just that sometimes it ends up being the opposite of what she planned to do with her life.

Honestly when serena went on abt the whole Dan thing, I hated it. After all the drama with Louis and Chuck, Blair found someone stable like Dan not to mention I actually loved how their relationship developed through common interests, so Serena had no right to act that way especially considering she slept with Nate while he was with Blair. I love Chuck and Blair, they're my endgame, but you gotta admit Dan and Blair were AMAZING together. They had so much intellectual chemistry, both were smart, had similar interests, and understood things outside the entire drama, which is more than we can say for characters like Serena and Nate.

I will die on this hill but Blair and Dan should have been THE couple of the GG. From the first season there was chemistry between them (especially in the scene after Blair's mom chooses Serene over Blair to model for her and Dan finally sees behind the wall and he even talks about his parents). But yeah... then they went with Chuck and Blair and Serena and Dan, and 99% of people loved it but I still like to rewatch those few scenes of Blair and Dan that we got.
we got to see the whole Blair and Dan dynamic better when they fled together after Blair and Louie’s disastrous wedding. It was truly one of a kind; the loyalty and chemistry that seeped through their very existence together.
The chemistry between Blair and Dan was everything! They balanced each other perfectly and challenged each other. Blair and Chuck were mirrors of each other which I always found slightly boring and Serena and Dan were so cliche and forced towards the end of the season.
I just re-watched S3 and on begin of S4 and so far Serena has hooked up with a married man [Tripp] multiple times and then a short time later hooks up with Dan who is dating Vanessa at the time. Then in S4, shes stringing Dan and Nate along and still messing with Dan who is still dating Vanessa. So yeah Serena needs to stop playing the victim.

I will die on this hill but Blair and Dan should have been THE couple of the GG. From the first season there was chemistry between them (especially in the scene after Blair's mom chooses Serene over Blair to model for her and Dan finally sees behind the wall and he even talks about his parents). But yeah... then they went with Chuck and Blair and Serena and Dan, and 99% of people loved it but I still like to rewatch those few scenes of Blair and Dan that we got.
we got to see the whole Blair and Dan dynamic better when they fled together after Blair and Louie’s disastrous wedding.
It was truly one of a kind; the loyalty and chemistry that seeped through their very existence together.
The chemistry between Blair and Dan was everything! They balanced each other perfectly and challenged each other. Blair and Chuck were mirrors of each other which I always found slightly boring and Serena and Dan were so cliche and forced towards the end of the season.

I just re-watched S3 and on begin of S4 and so far Serena has hooked up with a married man [Tripp] multiple times and then a short time later hooks up with Dan who is dating Vanessa at the time. Then in S4, shes stringing Dan and Nate along and still messing with Dan who is still dating Vanessa. So yeah Serena needs to stop playing the victim.

I think that at the beginning majority of the people preferred Serena but then you get to see that she really is handed so many things and she doesn't really need to try that hard to get what she wants, and then you have Blair who has to push rally hard and yeah, Blair is bitchy and of course she is entitled but many people can kinda relate to her easier. I guess you havent seen the entire show then because it is the only example. In that scene Serena didn't even care about the school and Blair wanted so bad. Serena just charmed them by talking 5 min, they didn't even conceder some extracurricular activities SAT's or other stuff. Besides everything yeah there are some toxic behaviours that Blair did but so as literally everyone on the show.

Serena might've not been as succesfull as she is, but Serena displayed great social posture and stance in life. Truthfully, both are priveleged and lucky heirs to wealth and power.
