Wouldn't it make more sense for Deku to be down All for One's brothers branch of the family tree. All for one didn't originally have the quirk that was transformed into One for All, his brother started with half and gifted the other. He passes his quirk on then has a child. That child now fathered by a quirk-less man, but with all the potential of holding his fathers quirk. All for One tracks that family tree branch using doctors, with each new doctor picked from broken children and raised by and mentored by the previous doctor. This makes sure that he has access to all their training and knowledge gained from generations of experiments, as well as insuring the wielder of that experience to be sympathetic to his cause. Would be easy enough to pass a family practice down a line of super villians doctors mentored and raised by the previous doctors, and why would Deku's family ever move to a new practice when they have used these doctors for several generations now. The easiest spies ever. So takes no effort for All for One. This would still gives All for One plenty of access to check and take any quirks from that family line that would be close analogs to the two quirks most prized. Which also means to me that Deku's dad is probably the giant mountain villain who could except several quirks without being turned into a Nomu. (Can't think of his name right now) Unless his timeline doesn't sync up. I do not know the timelines well enough to remember when that giant mountain showed up.

Here's a bit I think you missed: AFO's intimate knowledge of Deku. In AFO's last fight against All Might, he talks about Izuku in a personal manner, talking about his weaknesses and shortcomings. There isn't any evidence of AFO asking Aoyama for this information, but there is evidence of Inko continuing to write letters to her long-missing husband. When All Might visits the Midoriya home, that is when we see a picture on the wall of a family photo that included 2 adults and one child wearing an All Might costume. After All Might convinces Inko to let Izuku stay with the school, there is a cut in the official translation of the manga in which Inko is sharing her thoughts with someone. At the time, I figured that she was talking to her husband. If her husband is AFO and she had been faithfully communicating with him this whole time, that would explain both AFO's intimate knowledge of Izuku's personality and struggles, and why Horikoshi would feel guilty every time he looks a Inko.
Not to mention he basically did a star wars move by taking out one of the main characters our beloved bakugo which is also what happened in star wars with han solo which I'm soooooo mad about till this day
All for one being deku's dad makes sense. Seeing that deku's the only one for all user that can use multiple quirks, it's worth considering that it's because his body is naturally built to handle multiple quirks... Just like his father "all for one".

Not only would this therory make sense. Deku would also have All for One's initial quirk, making him very dangerous to AFO himself. This would make sense how Tomura got AFO.

I still think it's a possibility, would be interesting from a narrative point and Ujiko could have lied to Shigaraki so he wouldn't ask questions about things AFO didn't think he'd need to know

My theory is that AFO was trying to create a child with a more powerful version of his own quirk, possibly in order to steal OFA, but his kids kept turning out quirkless due to AFO being from the time period where there weren't a lot of quirks, meaning his DNA doesn't have a high chance of producing kids with quirks. He gave up on this plan. Another thing is that Izuku being AFO's son makes sense in regards to the way that Izuku uses OFA. You see, Deku hasn't boosted the power of OFA whatsoever (he can't even match All Might's power still) and yet suddenly the quirk just decided to "morph" into what it is now, with it producing all of the quirks of the previous users. All Might was the one that pushed it past its limits and was also quirkless, yet the ability didn't morph for him?? That seems weird. But for Izuku, OFA suddenly morphs and allows him to access Black Whip after only a year of having the quirk in his possession. My personal theory is that Izuku is AFO's son but is genuinely quirkless. However, this means that his body (his DNA) is adapted to being able to handle multiple quirks, even though he himself doesn't have a quirk. Deku's DNA is the real reason the quirk OFA started to morph -- it was adapting to Izuku's unique DNA, and we know for a fact that OFA adapts and changes to fit the DNA of the user it's in the possession of. We know there are some people in the world who genetically are able to harness multiple quirks, such as AFO and Gigantomachia. In other words, Deku has the hardware that's able to download the software that resides in OFA, and it's because of his father's DNA
My theory about Deku being AFO’s son is that later on like close to the end of the Final War is AFO will arrives at Beach Park & then kidnaps Deku his own son & takes him away from everyone by Warping Deku & himself to Black Hole where Deku’s dreams about OFA vestiges is at & AFO will tells Heroes & the News so that no News will record his final fight against Deku & he prefers to be alone with Deku so that he can steal OFA private & he will also tells the News, Heroes & Class 1-A by saying thank you all for bringing my son back & now we can be family again & I hope you all enjoy seeing him cause you will never see him again & they’ll all be devastated about Deku got taken away by AFO & will try to ask Monoma to see if can use his copy by using Warp Gate to warp where Deku’s dreams & Monoma will say it’s impossible to get there that only AFO & OFA can only warp themselves to get out of Deku’s dreams & Uraraka will feel devastated the most that she feels what if she’ll never sees him again & will cry out to Deku
I'm pretty sure deku can use OFA at 100% currently. And the hidden quirks unlocking is because the quirk stockpiles energy and becomes stronger as it's passed on from previous user to the next
This theory does make a lot of sense. But it would be really funny if Deku's dad just shows up at the door coming home from a long business trip and he's just some guy we've never seen before
I disagree that afo (all for one) left the midoriya family to protect them, I believe that he maybe left because Midoriya’s mom has a weak quirk (not that useful) while deku was quirkless. So maybe he decided to leave them because he decided that he deserved better since he’s more powerful than both of them together (before deku got ofa (one for all))
AFO uses everyone as pawns, just look at Aoyama and they call him uncle like he is family to them more so than out of respect. Deku being quirkless would be no issue if AFO has known Ujiko for long before Deku was born to just give him a quirk. If he DID leave them, it would have nothing to do with protecting them when a simple criminal with powers could get at them throughtout their life and AFO played 4D chess not checkers, so the only real intention in leaving would solely be he made Izuku idealize AllMight due to him that he would one day encounter AllMight, get OFA solely because he (since he just knows way too much) knows that OFA would only become complete for him to take if it was in a quirkless person and who not better to have it than Izuku "his son". AFO is wayyyyy to calculated to not have things orchestrated. He either is his father or simply killed Deku's dad and took a quirk or lastly, just turned him to a Nomu.
@@Your_Average_Black he didnt leave at least not officially all we know is he is working overseas and his quirk is weak fire breathing. The odd thing is there is 0 contact and that is why these theory keep coming up. Because even overseas to not get a phone call or letter or visit occasionally is not normal.
The question is why would AFO continue to give them money? From My Hero Vigilantes we learn that AFO is very keen making sure that villains who work for them work within the budget and resources he provide. Inko seems to be a housewife and with all the Hero Merch Deku has it shows that AFO cares for them. (Going so far to support Deku's hobby even though AFO despises hero society)
All I want is for All for One and Deku fight to be broadcast around the world so they can see his grit and determination. Imagine the whole world seeing that and hearing Deku speech about heroes, dead heroes, civilians and everybody sacrificing everything to get the goal done. EPIC MOMENT

Oh my gosh! You're right! It's kinda hard to hear, but it really does sound like they're saying "Midoriya Hisashi". That's scary! The reason why people probably forget is because the music is played during the battle between All Might and AFO. People are too focused on the battle more than the music.
Personally I used to believe that he was dekus dad but I thought of something else. What if instead his dad actually worked for all for one, afo said that he has friends all over the world and hisashi works abroad so maybe that could be hinting to something. This my own thought but I imagine hisashi as a inventor who makes robots and machines
Man, imagine how Deku would react to knowing about Bakugou's "death" (we're not sure at this point, but maybe he is truly dead) and knowing that his dad is the major big bad all in the same day (assuming that AFO is really his dad). My boy just can't take a break
also, Bakugo at one point did bring up that Deku being able to use the multiple quirks within OFA does make him very similar to AFO. They never from my knowledge touched on that further..
Honestly, if bakugo truly died. That’s peak character development, he went from selfish and a bully, to being selfless,by sacrificing himself, he became the true definition of a hero. We went through his story, seeing him progress only for him to die. It’s a bitter sweet end to bakugo.
If I'm correct the 2nd movie ( where bakugo got one for all for a short time)is Cannon to the manga it's possible that deku could talk with bakugo and uses his explosion quirk to finish the villain . It's like giving bakugo the final blow

While the whole All For One is Deku's father theory is becoming more and more possible, what about the other one that said Inko is Nana Shimura's daughter and Deku is Shigaraki's cousin? While this sounds like a coincidence, Deku's existence might be just All For One's "last laugh" to Nana. In other words, he got his greatest enemy's mentor's daughter pregnant with his own child as the last insult to her because if turning Tenko Shimura into a villain is not enough to stop All Might from defeating him, this will make All Might and Nana go bonker when they heard of this.
That would be a more twisted reveal indeed. The greatest evil that the world has ever seen played sperm donor to your mom and knocked her up just for the lolz after having brutally killed your grandmother. Deku knowing such evil is the result of him being born and having AFO's blood in his veins would have to hurt big time

I’m telling you deku has had a quirk all along, the quirk to have multiple quirks. This is technically a part of all for one. And think about this, dr. Garaki has been working on nomu for years right, possibly even decades? Right as deku comes along and goes through the tests with dr. Garaki now these freaks have multiple quirks? Press x to doubt. And one for all just happens to evolve for deku when he’s done nothing to really advance the quirk meanwhile all might spent roughly forty years building the quirk beyond limits but it didn’t evolve for him? Press x to doubt. But seriously deku came along and as his quirk to hold multiple quirks got embedded into one for all and the quirk expanded unlocking the previously stored abilities. Deku’s quirk could’ve been very similar to his uncle’s quirk the first wielder of one for all. Deku has always had a quirk, this whole time, I’m telling you.
@@cutestephie1313 thank you! It’s my own personal head canon until the full story is revealed. It also has a bit of darker twinge to it. I fully believe that deku’s mom is an imperfect clone of nana shimura. All might so much as says that she reminds him of nana shimura. All for one and by extension dr. Garaki had full access to nana shimura’s corpse so a clone is easily within a believable capacity for what we’ve seen of the characters. We’ve never seen or heard of any extended family from deku’s mom nor have we seen her in any sort of occupation. Have her there and her life staged. Have all for one pretend to have a fire breathing quirk and send money from his I’ll gotten gains to pay for their livelihoods and boom everything seems like a relatively believable story from deku and his mother’s perspectives. What I want out of this theory- When izuku was young Afo saw how his own son idolized his greatest enemy, all might, and decided he would make his son’s dream come true so he has essentially staged everything we have seen up to this point just so izuku could prove himself as the greatest hero of all time. Giving the story a bittersweet ending that in the end deku had a dad that made his dreams come true but destroyed countless lives and essentially a nation to do so leaving deku with the knowledge that his accomplishments and legacy are a fraud but he has to wear his heroic smile regardless so he can be the new pillar of peace and justice society is resting on. I don't know if I agree with him having a quirk. But I've always thought it was weird that All Might didn't get more quirks, but Deku does. Why is he special? All Might would've been way stronger overall if he had the extra quirks, it's stated his body was strong enough to use OFA right out the gate without breaking his body like Deku. I'm wondering if this is gonna be some kind of Attack on Titan past connected to the future plot.

Notice how much attention to dekus feet is in this show from why he was quirkless to why all might chose him (feet moving on its own) his first male friend at UA having engine in his feet his fighting style plus any others I may have missed
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. The reasons that I think Deku is his son is 1. Deku is the only known user (if I’m mistaken) that can pretty much use the full capabilities of OFA unlike its other users. It’s like OFA knows the blood in Deku it’s familiar to it and that’s why Deku can access it to it’s full potential like he can. It’s like the Quirk had a homecoming and when you’re home you should feel safest. So, the Quirk feels safe enough with Deku to let loose it’s full potential. 2. Is from another person who commented on one of one my post about Deku being AFO’s son. The commenter said that’s why when Deku was fighting Stain that Stain noticed something about Deku’s blood and specifically called out his blood and how it was different than most others he’s used his quirk on. 3. And idk this is just a theory but why AFO’s face is not shown because he probably has the same eyes and maybe even freckles as Deku does and if you saw his face you’d almost automatically know he had some type of ties, or connection to Deku. And even if they’re not father and son AFO could even be Deku’s grandfather or great grandfather but he probably looks a lot like Deku or more rather Deku looks a lot like him. 3. Majority of all major Shonen Anime/manga the protagonist always has a father of some type of importance. They’re usually the reason the protagonist has all the advantages that they have. I’ll just name 3 because there are literally too many to even count. But Bleach Isshin and Ichigo, One Piece Dragon and Monkey, and Naruto = Naruto and Minato. Hell, even further Shingeki no Kyojin(Attack on Titan) Eren and Greisha. They’re literally following the Shonen handbook to a T almost. Deku has the power in him that at the beginning can’t be controlled and is tearing his body apart only to eventually learn to use it to it’s full capacity without being hurt anymore. There’s the tournament arc, and a war arc which every major anime/manga has also. There’s a lot that I could say but I’ve already been at this for too long already lol. And on top of that even though it may seem a bit cliche but I’d kinda feel let down if AFO turned out not to be Deku’s father and it ended up just being some random geek of the streets lol.
According to the recent manga chapters and AFO’s face reveal, he doesn’t have freckles. He has white hair and red eyes, so he doesn’t really look like Izuku. Still, their head shapes are kind of similar and the green eyes + green hair could be genetic traits predominantly from Inko.
Maybe, when Deku's Quirk manifested without him knowing about it. AFO stole Deku's quirk while he was not looking or sleeping. It was never stated that the target needed to be conscious to have it stolen. Like how AFO self-actived Kurogir and Magna's Quirks in Kamino. I don't know why AFO would want to settle down and have a child, when sperm donations could be a thing in MHA. But I'm guessing that it has something to do with Deku's mother. I mean that comment All Might made about her and Nana Shimuara having similar hairstyles seems a little bit odd to me. And coincidentally having similar quirks. Nana can float herself, and Deku's mother can pull small objects towards her through telekinesis. Not to mention having a fire-breathing quirk seems very specific. I mean, I'm sure thar there are other fire-breathers out there. But why would Korahiroshi give and name a quirk to a character who is basically off screen all the time in the first place. Unless were eventually going to show him eventually on the screen. Though if AFO isn't deku's father. Then he could just pull out that quirk and claim claim that he is him in order to trick him, or perhaps claims that you killed him.
Quirks are connected to mentality aswell as physicality, expectation of one is usually what activates it at first, so, given deku's mental state, and his willpower, I'd imagine all for one stole his quirk, but it gave him second thoughts indirectly, so he gave it back. This can be further supported by the manga as all for one confirms that similar to the vestiges of one for all, every quirk all for one has keeps a mental link to the original user. This, and showing as to how quirks are a mental process, explains why deku's doctor is DR. Ujiko, who is basically all for ones top supporter. He could've taken a picture of the x ray a quirk less person took and just shown it to deku, relieving him of expectations, thus putting the chances of activation far lower
I've always thought that this might be it. Either him or Yorichi. If you look at Yorichi's eyes you will see that they are green meaning his brother most likely had green eyes as well (or something) and the inside story where it talks about Izuku's dad kinda points this out too. It says that his father (afo) was reminded of his brother when he met Inko. And he was taking a break from villainy but his actions caught up with him. Meaning he couldn't spend as much time as he wanted with his kid. We also learn that Afo has an obsession with stealing quirks that are strong and Izuku doesn't have one. Isn't it crazy how the one examining Izuku is the very same doctor working with Afo? This of course..is just a theory ☻️

I predict if dekus dad is all for one in the last fight between them deku will gain all for one by defeating his dad or his dad passing it on this creating the ultimate qirk. This allows all might's will to carry on and for all for one to create the ultimate quirk

Another theory: All for one is Tomuras biological grandfather. All we know about Nanas husband is that he died witch is the reason why she put Kotaro into foster care. It is noted that most of the one for all succsesors are knda randomly picked and managed to transfer the quirk to whoever was nearby. It seems that they only really have a strong connection to the previous user witch is why Daigoro calls En master and why the only vestage that all might has any connection with is Nana who cheered him on while he was fighting All for one during the rematch. Now most of the users probably would not really remember what All for one looked like since he was murdering them even Yoichis memories has his eyes obscured and if we have the All for one is Dekus father at first Ochaco could not even remember Izukus face because he looked so plain. Yoichi could not tell them because he didn't have enough power or he just didn't bother to mention that if anyone is using Shigaraki as a name or alias they should emediatley be on guard for his brothers sceems because All might had no reaction to Tomura using the Shigaraki name. Now All for one wasen't a bad looking dude so he probably could have hooked upp with Nana or if they where married then we could tie it in to him later marrying Inko under a alias like he probably did with Nana. Now just cause bad guys could go after Kotaro Nana put him into foster care and demanded no contact with him even from her succsesor and her closest confidant and that Kotaros history was completley wiped. Seems a bit overkill unless she would think that All for one has specifically a reason to go after Kotaro and what better reason would there be than him being Kotaros father. The line about Nanas husband dying is a lie because she is protecting him from the husband aka All for one. Why eles would she not make another letter for when Kotaro was older to explain herself better because she would not want All for one to have a chance to get Kotaro. All for one and Kotaro have similar personlities both are cold and calculated but Kotaro was abel to build a succsessful buisness while All for one ruled a crimminal empire. They both had a wrathful interior and would lash out violently when slighted as seen when Tenko found Nanas picturw or when Jiro and Tokoyami broke All for ones mask. The diffrence being that Kotaro felt remorse for his actions while All for one explicitly looked down on such things. Even Tenko is similar after going through his character development he now basically leads the paranormala liberation fron and has become much more calm and calculated but he goes into rages when wronged. If you say that genetics has little to do with peronality the just look at Katsuki who is basically a copy of his mother Mitsuki. Also would make sense for why All for one would give Tomura his name because he is actually his decendant and he probably would not give it to any rando since he is so pridefull. Also Tomura looks like a copy of Yoichi with Nanas signature birthmark another reason why he was abel and willing to give him his name because he reminds him of the one person he has anything even resembeling care for.

If Deku turned out to be AFO's son, I wouldn't be surprised if Deku originally had a quirk that was similar to AFO's but was taken because AFO viewed it as a threat. For example, this quirk could've been taken and then given to someone who wouldn't be able to use it at it's full potential. Perhaps that quirk was given to Monoma. I only suggest this because Monoma is very similar to Aoyama in regards to his family's wealth and family structure. If I remember correctly, Monoma's family is dysfunctional and very obsessed with their status and appearance in society. I wouldn't be surprised if Deku originally had a quirk that allowed him to copy people's quirks without having to steal them, and that perhaps if it was in the hands of Deku (who's DNA would be better adapted to the quirk and would be able to hold more quirks in his body), he would be able to hold a much larger amount of powers, as well as hold them for a much longer period of time. We know for a fact that a person's body has to be genetically able to hold more than one quirk or else they die or go crazy. Shigi had to be modified to hold AFO -- the quirk itself wasn't sufficient for holding more than one quirk within it. So if Deku's quirk was given to someone who didn't have the genes to hold lots of quirks, it would result in someone like Monoma, who can only hold onto a few quirks at a time for a limited amount of time. If it was in Deku's hands, he would be able to hold as many quirks as AFO for an indefinate amount of time, though he wouldn't be able to give quirks away like AFO can, which is why AFO wouldn't find any real need for the quirk other than to give it to someone who couldn't use it as well. Edit: and perhaps it was from Deku's stolen Copy quirk that Garaki first learned how to copy quirks. The timeline fits perfectly. He doesn't seem to begin creating nomus until after his meeting with young Izuku.
There's a fanfic where Deku's quirk could have been Quirksmithing which enables the quirks to be copied and combined or modified like a weapon smith which is similar to AFO and OFA. And since All Might gave OFA to Deku, he may be able to talk to the vestige and modify the quirks to decrease their harmful effects.
Deku was born quirkles, so stop with this nonsense. We know he was quirk less because his body is a perfect vessel for OFA, and if he would have a quirk before, that would make this stance untrue. Stop with this nonsense that Deku had quirk. He didn't, just like Tenko didn't have any quirk, he had given one by AFO.

Ever since the question of who is deku's father being a villain came up with the thought that gigantomachia would probably be his father. He has the Vader chest plate piece as part of his costume and he can be summoned to all for one side in a blank just like Vader probably could and think about the rage Deku would have realizing that all for one turned his father into a monster
I like the theory that AFO sired a child with Inko Midoriya in attempt to create a quirk that could steal quirks from a distance. He probably left for "Business" after Izuku was born and waited until he heard from Dr. Garaki whether or not Izuku had the quirk. If it was confirmed he would've returned from his "Business" and either straight up stole the quirk and gotten rid of Izuku and Inko or more likely imo took the quirk and swapped it with some miscellaneous minor telekinetic quirk so that no one would get suspicious before leaving back for "Business." When Izuku was shown to not have any quirk AFO just severed connection with them for good. I know it's not true but it's fun to think about.

What if...the reason Inko and Izuku have been able to survive so long and not have direct contact with Hisashi this whole time, (Rent and food, with no scenes showing communication or proof of funds), is because AFO communicates with Inko via radio waves (like with Aoyama) and tells her when he will send her money and how, and even has a small bit of heart to heart to keep her focused and able to carry on as a loving mother. what if the reason why she said "I'm Sorry" instead of "Don't give up!" Or "You can still be a hero!" Like Deku wanted so badly, what if she knew he's be going against the grain by wanting to be a hero regardless of how admirable that is or how possible, quirk or not. And what if the reason she was so adamant about Deku not aiming to be a hero anymore was because he had inadvertently met his father (which she saw on the news during Kamino and realized who she had married and understood his absent finally) and she feared that it would become inevitable they would have to fight someday if Deku persisted further. She doesn't seem the type to not use the time she spends home most days just sitting around doing nothing, I'd imagine she spends a lot of time thinking everything over, even considering why she never sees her own husband and has to raise Izuku alone his whole life. Sweet a person as she is, I doubt she ever imagined she'd one day suddenly become a single mom

I have a theory to add onto this one: the copy AfO quirk is a modified version of Izuku's but the doctor took it to use at a later date. It coukd be either the one Nine uses in the second movie or even the one AfO is using. We could get something similar to the ending of Avatar The Last Airbender with Izuku taking the quirk back, leaving AfO with a fate worse then death: Quirkless
At this point I'd say the most likely introductions of dekus father is either that he is afo or that dekus original quirk was decay and he accidentally killed his father
It could be that even though he wasn’t born with a quirk, he still inherited the same kind of body that afo has, that was modified to hold multiple quirks. Then maybe the quirks of the previous users came flying in Deku after taking notice of the huge space
I think it makes sense, especially considering the fact that Deku's dad has always been away ever since his childhood. This event probably pertains to AFO's first battle with All Might wherein the latter defeats him, which caused him to go into hiding for a while. Because of this, he wasn't able to keep tabs on Deku's life, until he recieved OFA from All Might. And also, it is possible that AFO may have also stolen Deku's quirk when he was still a baby and he probably told Dr. Garaki to tell him that he was quirkless when he reached the age of 5, thus setting up the events of the current storyline.
I agree with alot of your statements, namely raising a family is not exactly on a Dark Emperor's to do list. But I have a headcanon for why Hisashi/All For One was absent for most of Deku's life. The thing to really make note is that If All For One is Izuku's father, its very likely he was distant with his own son to keep him safe. Ruling an underworld with enemies around every corner would be difficult enough but add a child, his sole (as far as we know) legitimate heir to his empire. The ultimate target for kidnappings and ransoms. All For One would no doubt keep his son, who i would think he cares for very deeply, out if harm's way in case a rival or a hero were to know of his child's existence. I would suspect Inko, Deku's mom, wouldn't be oblivious to her husband's dealings and knows who he is. Its likely he revealed himself to her, either she found out accidentally or after years of being together he just explained to her he was a villain who was hundreds of years old. Maybe he offered her the same immortality as his so they can be together forever but she refused know that if the quirk wasn't compatible with her body she'd become like the Nomu. This would probably explain why All For One didn't give his son a quirk for fear it would turn him into a mindless living doll. This could also be one of the key factors as to why "Hisashi" was so distant, not to distance himself from a son who was a so called failure but to protect him even more. Izuku having no quirk would be an even easier target for All For One's enemies having no means of defending himself. So he and Inko made up the story for why he was never around; Hisashi was overseas as a cook receiving these large paychecks and sending them back home. In reality the money would be sent to the Midoriya house by shell companies and fake identity. All For One is most definitely rich and he wanted to his wife and son to live in relative comfort. So Deku would be raised as a normal kid as apposed to this prince of darkness worshiped by All For One's followers. I kinda hope Horikoshi goes this route and shows All For One as still this living God monster but also revealing at his core he's still a human being. Capable of love and compassion towards his family. After all, it was this love that made him give (albeit forced) the stockpiling Quirk onto his younger brother creating One For All. If Horikoshi were to have revealed Deku's true parentage it would have been when All Might was fighting All For One, slipping in some detail like "how ironic I'm training your dead mentor's grandson while you're training my son". Imagine if that reveal was live and Deku heard it all. The greatest hero is the son of the greatest villain. Mic drop!
Hisashi means "Long Time No See" referencing All for One's blindness (dude has no eyes). Izuku means "A Long Time Ago," this would imply All for One's old age. Izuku and All for One was shown to have similar poses. Both have a mumbling habit as well. Both are really good at analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of quirks. Midoriya Inko has an "Attraction" quirk, so I guess at one point, All for One copied Endeavor's idea to create a perfect child to succeed him and to get an even better quirk, where All for One can just attract quirks to himself when needed. This would make Izuku similar to Todoroki Shouto (and why Izuku and Shouto has that backstory moment when Shouto basically told Izuku he was a child born specifically for a better quirk). Izuku lives a comfortable life despite his mom not working and is a housewife. His dad must be reasonably well off or even rich (which All for One is), and Deku is obviously using his dad's money to ironically, buy All Might merchandise, a lot of them. Otherwise, Deku would end up like Uraraka Ochaco, aka poor girl who really needs the money. Dr. Garaki works for All for One, and is Izuku's pediatrician. He also instigated his son (who is later turned into a Nomu who specifically attacks Deku) to also bully Izuku as well, so it fits into the plan of All for One turning Izuku to the "Dark Side." Besides, if Izuku is just some random quirkless kid, why go through all this trouble at all? Now to add onto this theory on why Dr.Garaki and All for One would pay attention to kid Deku, Deku probably has something even more powerful than a quirk, a superpower that is not a quirk. Kind of like how Spider-Man (which Deku is really similar to with Fa Jin, Danger Sense, and Black Whip) is not classified as a mutant because he does not have the X-Gene, but still has superpowers. *So Quirkless Deku having superpowers that All for One can not steal because it is not a quirk.* If it was only 1 or 2 pieces of evidence, I would have dropped this theory of All for One being Izuku's dad. But there are too many coincidences and evidence piling up.
If AFO is dekus father, then the reason deku can hold and access all the quirks isn't because he was quirkless but because he already has a quirk (afo) that specifically allows him to naturally access other quirks- Which is why he can access them and all might could not. No user has tried to test what the power actually is which leaves it open to a quirk realization about who deku is and what his power is. He can access the vestige world because that's what his actual quirk literally is, just like AFO
What if AFO is not exactly Deku’s father but instead he took Deku’s father’s body like he is doing/did with Shigaraki’s and the reason he took Shigaraki's body now is because in his last battle OFA damaged so bad Deku’s father’s body he needed to look for another worthy vessel. Maybe Deku’s father was the unfortunate first vessel transfer of AFO or a test subject for it. I mean we know so little of him maybe he was a secret hero/agent looking for AFO and they captured him for that purpose, that would explain a lot of he not being present in Deku's life.
I think it looks like he is embracing deku, but only because he know his brothers essence is within. Did he/shigaraki not refer to deku as his brother at some point?
I want to throw my hat into this theory that we discussed in this theory video. What if all for one was inspired by Endeanvors actions to create the perfect child with a superior quirk to create a second all for one for himself. After many attempts and failures, all for one and dr garaki are about to quit until Inko came into the picture. I think all for one married Inko under his alias (the name we hear hiashi) as a get away incase his criminal empire collapsed and he had to rebuild from scratch. When Deku was born, the doctor quickly discovered that Deku had produced the second all for one quirk, he informed his master that it’s a success. In no time whatsoever, all for one steals the quirk from his recently born son. Also, because of his injuries and being maimed by all might in their final battle before the series began, he couldn’t return to Inko and Deku so he only communicated to them by phone call or mail, claiming he had to work overseas permanently in order to provide for his family, which is probably bullshit because with his resources, he probably has one of his subordinates wire transfer money to them to keep up the image of Hiashi the loving husband and father to prevent his true self from being discovered. As for how one for all hasn’t killed Deku, it’s because he was rendered quirkless before he received it but also how one for all changed again because it had merged with leftover strains of the second all for one quirk that all for one stole from Deku when he was only a baby or child, which resulted in a new one for all being created which gave it the ability to use all quirks of previous users.
That would be fricking perfect! Shame we more than likely won't be seeing this come to fruition. How this would break the fandom in half, I would love to see it
These are very valid reasons! I remember when the chapter where afo used fire in his finger at the end of the chapter, people where saying it was deku’s dad but that’s basically saying since endeavor uses fire it’s his dad
If afo was dekus father it would make sense for the fact that right after the usj when shigaraki mentioned a kid just as fast as all might, afo paused, he knew what all might was doing in ua (given the evidence he had we can assume), so y did he need to pause to think? He probably told shigaraki a bit about ofa so y not just announce that they should keep an eye on him instead of letting shigaraki hunt deku, this makes little sense unless he wanted to hide who dekus real identity is as his son (which would probably make shigaraki go nuts and destroy the entire bar)
My personal theory is that if Deku is All for One's son then his quirk might have been a variant of All for One combined with his mother's quirk. Imagine, a version of All for one where the user wouldn't have to touch you to take your quirk. Just by looking at you and levitating it out of your body would put it on as one of the most OP quirks out there.
Here's another reason why AfO is Dekus dad that you missed: Izuku can't tie neckties, guess what AfO is NEVER seen wearing even though he always wears a suit. He can't tie neckties either! :D (It's anime logic obviously, but I can totally see it!)
Everyone's listing all these cool theories and I like them all... the writer in me thought it'd be a crazy twist if Deku is actually related (ancestor) to Yoichi, not All for One. Especially with the whole second user being Bakugo's ancestor theory. The 1st and 2nd users started out as enemies but became friends. Obviously something happened to the 1st and ofa was passed to the friend, the 2nd. Star Wars, even mha has a ton of these parallels running through the overall story. So here we are in the present and Hisashi realizes that Afo is coming back into power so he ditches the family to protect them. I figure that any child of Yoichi would've been told all about uncle. This would have been passed on through the generations as Afo was still around. Maybe Hisashi planned on telling Deku but was caught by Afo instead. This could also play well with those theories on how quick Deku took to multiple quirks as it's in his DNA. But honestly, I figure Hisashi is actually one of the high end nomus. Something to taunt Deku with along with Bakugo. The whole, you couldn't save either of them, talk that the Shigaraki/Afo will use to mess with our hero.
Hmmm… it would make sense that the Second and Third Users wouldn’t support Deku or give him access to their quirks, if they were aware that he was AFO’s son. They might be unwilling to trust him, as they could believe he won’t have the guts or the will to kill AFO once he finds out about their connection. That might also explain why the previous users took so long to give Deku access to all of their quirks. Maybe they weren’t all sure that he was a good choice for OFA, at first. After all, they were nearly all killed by AFO personally, so it might be tough to trust someone who was birthed by their killer. Then again, I would hate such a reveal being made right at the story’s end, where it wouldn’t have adequate emotional development or impact at all.
i know this is not related to the video, but i was thinking about something. in one of the recent chapters, its the one where deku saw something in the distance while trying to make it to shigaraki. i was thinking that what deku saw was not a person, but rather the floating coffin that contained shiggy, the big 3, and all of the others fighting in there, and that deku’s danger sense was being alerted when bakugou died
5:08 I just want to add that in this scene when midoriya is going through a major life crisis and is just feeling terrible. Bakugou is sat there smiling as he watches midoriya's world and dreams crumble.
Every reason it’s not true is because all for one has been around since the first quirks he stole a quirk for him that made him like live forever or something so that’s why he made it so far
Something I find interesting is the Midoriya’s moms quirk was to bring objects towards her and AFO may have thought that he may be able to mix his quirk with hers so he would be able to bring and steal quirks towards him instead of having to touch the person to steal their quirk. But since AFO couldn’t have a kid that was born with a quirk he decided to leave them behind.
Although I'm not totally convinced on the theory even though it would be interesting I do have more to add to it. What if Inko's pregnancy with Deku was an accident and AFO recognizing the simularties with Deku and his Mother and his mother being so empathetic and kind that he knew he wouldn't be able to manipulate Deku into being a successor of his power. So he told the Doctor to give a reason (the x-ray) on why Deku was quirkless. Because it does makes sence if you think about it that maybe there was some truth in the lie the Doctor told. Like what if the body actually did adapt to be more streamline for quirks in the toe and everything BUT the connection of toe = quirk was false. And the toe tihng just happened to be more common among qurikless people but theres no connection to it. But AFO knowing Deku's mom and the fact Deku just being a child would beleive it as fact and wouldn't ask qeustions since its a doctor because how many times when theres been cases where people didn't ask a doctor about something they said/did and it backfired on them. And the only reason Deku's toe was like that was because his dad just happened to come from a time when that was how things were with the toe. But maybe Deku was born with a quirk but AFO remembering how he though his brother had no quirk when it turns out he did (to pass on quirks) he wanted to make sure Deku didn't have a quirk so he took it from him just in case he did have one.
also also. We've NEVER seen AFO's ACTUAL face from a close up pannel. We only have seen it from afar which we couldn't tell WHO he was and his face is ALWAYS COVERED! Either it being from the side of his face, his eyes, and his mouth.
All of this makes sense and pin points near the fact izuku might be the spawn of All for One but I’m more curious as to how will All Might react to this if the truth is revealed, will All Might be shocked the same way when he found out Shigiraki is Nana Shimora grandson or did All Might know Izuku is All for One’s son all this time and didn’t tell izuku which may explain why he treats Izuku as if he was his son despite being his mentor to do what All for One failed to be for izuku as a child. 🤔

Wouldn't it make more sense for Deku to be down All for One's brothers branch of the family tree. All for one didn't originally have the quirk that was transformed into One for All, his brother started with half and gifted the other. He passes his quirk on then has a child. That child now fathered by a quirk-less man, but with all the potential of holding his fathers quirk. All for One tracks that family tree branch using doctors, with each new doctor picked from broken children and raised by and mentored by the previous doctor. This makes sure that he has access to all their training and knowledge gained from generations of experiments, as well as insuring the wielder of that experience to be sympathetic to his cause.
Would be easy enough to pass a family practice down a line of super villians doctors mentored and raised by the previous doctors, and why would Deku's family ever move to a new practice when they have used these doctors for several generations now. The easiest spies ever. So takes no effort for All for One. This would still gives All for One plenty of access to check and take any quirks from that family line that would be close analogs to the two quirks most prized.
Which also means to me that Deku's dad is probably the giant mountain villain who could except several quirks without being turned into a Nomu. (Can't think of his name right now) Unless his timeline doesn't sync up. I do not know the timelines well enough to remember when that giant mountain showed up.

Here's a bit I think you missed: AFO's intimate knowledge of Deku. In AFO's last fight against All Might, he talks about Izuku in a personal manner, talking about his weaknesses and shortcomings. There isn't any evidence of AFO asking Aoyama for this information, but there is evidence of Inko continuing to write letters to her long-missing husband. When All Might visits the Midoriya home, that is when we see a picture on the wall of a family photo that included 2 adults and one child wearing an All Might costume. After All Might convinces Inko to let Izuku stay with the school, there is a cut in the official translation of the manga in which Inko is sharing her thoughts with someone. At the time, I figured that she was talking to her husband. If her husband is AFO and she had been faithfully communicating with him this whole time, that would explain both AFO's intimate knowledge of Izuku's personality and struggles, and why Horikoshi would feel guilty every time he looks a Inko.

All for one being deku's dad makes sense. Seeing that deku's the only one for all user that can use multiple quirks, it's worth considering that it's because his body is naturally built to handle multiple quirks... Just like his father "all for one".

My theory is that AFO was trying to create a child with a more powerful version of his own quirk, possibly in order to steal OFA, but his kids kept turning out quirkless due to AFO being from the time period where there weren't a lot of quirks, meaning his DNA doesn't have a high chance of producing kids with quirks. He gave up on this plan.
Another thing is that Izuku being AFO's son makes sense in regards to the way that Izuku uses OFA. You see, Deku hasn't boosted the power of OFA whatsoever (he can't even match All Might's power still) and yet suddenly the quirk just decided to "morph" into what it is now, with it producing all of the quirks of the previous users. All Might was the one that pushed it past its limits and was also quirkless, yet the ability didn't morph for him?? That seems weird. But for Izuku, OFA suddenly morphs and allows him to access Black Whip after only a year of having the quirk in his possession. My personal theory is that Izuku is AFO's son but is genuinely quirkless. However, this means that his body (his DNA) is adapted to being able to handle multiple quirks, even though he himself doesn't have a quirk. Deku's DNA is the real reason the quirk OFA started to morph -- it was adapting to Izuku's unique DNA, and we know for a fact that OFA adapts and changes to fit the DNA of the user it's in the possession of. We know there are some people in the world who genetically are able to harness multiple quirks, such as AFO and Gigantomachia. In other words, Deku has the hardware that's able to download the software that resides in OFA, and it's because of his father's DNA
My theory about Deku being AFO’s son is that later on like close to the end of the Final War is AFO will arrives at Beach Park & then kidnaps Deku his own son & takes him away from everyone by Warping Deku & himself to Black Hole where Deku’s dreams about OFA vestiges is at & AFO will tells Heroes & the News so that no News will record his final fight against Deku & he prefers to be alone with Deku so that he can steal OFA private & he will also tells the News, Heroes & Class 1-A by saying thank you all for bringing my son back & now we can be family again & I hope you all enjoy seeing him cause you will never see him again & they’ll all be devastated about Deku got taken away by AFO & will try to ask Monoma to see if can use his copy by using Warp Gate to warp where Deku’s dreams & Monoma will say it’s impossible to get there that only AFO & OFA can only warp themselves to get out of Deku’s dreams & Uraraka will feel devastated the most that she feels what if she’ll never sees him again & will cry out to Deku

And the hidden quirks unlocking is because the quirk stockpiles energy and becomes stronger as it's passed on from previous user to the next

I believe that he maybe left because Midoriya’s mom has a weak quirk (not that useful) while deku was quirkless.
So maybe he decided to leave them because he decided that he deserved better since he’s more powerful than both of them together (before deku got ofa (one for all))
AFO uses everyone as pawns, just look at Aoyama and they call him uncle like he is family to them more so than out of respect. Deku being quirkless would be no issue if AFO has known Ujiko for long before Deku was born to just give him a quirk. If he DID leave them, it would have nothing to do with protecting them when a simple criminal with powers could get at them throughtout their life and AFO played 4D chess not checkers, so the only real intention in leaving would solely be he made Izuku idealize AllMight due to him that he would one day encounter AllMight, get OFA solely because he (since he just knows way too much) knows that OFA would only become complete for him to take if it was in a quirkless person and who not better to have it than Izuku "his son". AFO is wayyyyy to calculated to not have things orchestrated. He either is his father or simply killed Deku's dad and took a quirk or lastly, just turned him to a Nomu.

The odd thing is there is 0 contact and that is why these theory keep coming up. Because even overseas to not get a phone call or letter or visit occasionally is not normal.
The question is why would AFO continue to give them money? From My Hero Vigilantes we learn that AFO is very keen making sure that villains who work for them work within the budget and resources he provide. Inko seems to be a housewife and with all the Hero Merch Deku has it shows that AFO cares for them. (Going so far to support Deku's hobby even though AFO despises hero society)
All I want is for All for One and Deku fight to be broadcast around the world so they can see his grit and determination. Imagine the whole world seeing that and hearing Deku speech about heroes, dead heroes, civilians and everybody sacrificing everything to get the goal done. EPIC MOMENT

A minor detail that everyone seems to forget is that in All For One's theme (around the 0:23 mark), you can hear the chorus say "Midoriya Hisashi"

Personally I used to believe that he was dekus dad but I thought of something else. What if instead his dad actually worked for all for one, afo said that he has friends all over the world and hisashi works abroad so maybe that could be hinting to something.

Honestly, if bakugo truly died. That’s peak character development, he went from selfish and a bully, to being selfless,by sacrificing himself, he became the true definition of a hero. We went through his story, seeing him progress only for him to die. It’s a bitter sweet end to bakugo.

If I'm correct the 2nd movie ( where bakugo got one for all for a short time)is Cannon to the manga it's possible that deku could talk with bakugo and uses his explosion quirk to finish the villain . It's like giving bakugo the final blow

All For One became evil, because he didn't want to pay child support.
While the whole All For One is Deku's father theory is becoming more and more possible, what about the other one that said Inko is Nana Shimura's daughter and Deku is Shigaraki's cousin? While this sounds like a coincidence, Deku's existence might be just All For One's "last laugh" to Nana. In other words, he got his greatest enemy's mentor's daughter pregnant with his own child as the last insult to her because if turning Tenko Shimura into a villain is not enough to stop All Might from defeating him, this will make All Might and Nana go bonker when they heard of this.
That would be a more twisted reveal indeed. The greatest evil that the world has ever seen played sperm donor to your mom and knocked her up just for the lolz after having brutally killed your grandmother. Deku knowing such evil is the result of him being born and having AFO's blood in his veins would have to hurt big time

I’m telling you deku has had a quirk all along, the quirk to have multiple quirks. This is technically a part of all for one. And think about this, dr. Garaki has been working on nomu for years right, possibly even decades? Right as deku comes along and goes through the tests with dr. Garaki now these freaks have multiple quirks? Press x to doubt. And one for all just happens to evolve for deku when he’s done nothing to really advance the quirk meanwhile all might spent roughly forty years building the quirk beyond limits but it didn’t evolve for him? Press x to doubt. But seriously deku came along and as his quirk to hold multiple quirks got embedded into one for all and the quirk expanded unlocking the previously stored abilities. Deku’s quirk could’ve been very similar to his uncle’s quirk the first wielder of one for all. Deku has always had a quirk, this whole time, I’m telling you.

@@cutestephie1313 thank you! It’s my own personal head canon until the full story is revealed. It also has a bit of darker twinge to it. I fully believe that deku’s mom is an imperfect clone of nana shimura. All might so much as says that she reminds him of nana shimura. All for one and by extension dr. Garaki had full access to nana shimura’s corpse so a clone is easily within a believable capacity for what we’ve seen of the characters. We’ve never seen or heard of any extended family from deku’s mom nor have we seen her in any sort of occupation. Have her there and her life staged. Have all for one pretend to have a fire breathing quirk and send money from his I’ll gotten gains to pay for their livelihoods and boom everything seems like a relatively believable story from deku and his mother’s perspectives.
What I want out of this theory-
When izuku was young Afo saw how his own son idolized his greatest enemy, all might, and decided he would make his son’s dream come true so he has essentially staged everything we have seen up to this point just so izuku could prove himself as the greatest hero of all time. Giving the story a bittersweet ending that in the end deku had a dad that made his dreams come true but destroyed countless lives and essentially a nation to do so leaving deku with the knowledge that his accomplishments and legacy are a fraud but he has to wear his heroic smile regardless so he can be the new pillar of peace and justice society is resting on.

I don't know if I agree with him having a quirk. But I've always thought it was weird that All Might didn't get more quirks, but Deku does. Why is he special? All Might would've been way stronger overall if he had the extra quirks, it's stated his body was strong enough to use OFA right out the gate without breaking his body like Deku. I'm wondering if this is gonna be some kind of Attack on Titan past connected to the future plot.
That makes a lot of sense. I really hope OFA is not his father for his sake, but if he is and that is Deku's quirk that would make so much sense.

Notice how much attention to dekus feet is in this show from why he was quirkless to why all might chose him (feet moving on its own) his first male friend at UA having engine in his feet his fighting style plus any others I may have missed
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. The reasons that I think Deku is his son is
1. Deku is the only known user (if I’m mistaken) that can pretty much use the full capabilities of OFA unlike its other users. It’s like OFA knows the blood in Deku it’s familiar to it and that’s why Deku can access it to it’s full potential like he can. It’s like the Quirk had a homecoming and when you’re home you should feel safest. So, the Quirk feels safe enough with Deku to let loose it’s full potential.
2. Is from another person who commented on one of one my post about Deku being AFO’s son. The commenter said that’s why when Deku was fighting Stain that Stain noticed something about Deku’s blood and specifically called out his blood and how it was different than most others he’s used his quirk on.
3. And idk this is just a theory but why AFO’s face is not shown because he probably has the same eyes and maybe even freckles as Deku does and if you saw his face you’d almost automatically know he had some type of ties, or connection to Deku. And even if they’re not father and son AFO could even be Deku’s grandfather or great grandfather but he probably looks a lot like Deku or more rather Deku looks a lot like him.
3. Majority of all major Shonen Anime/manga the protagonist always has a father of some type of importance. They’re usually the reason the protagonist has all the advantages that they have. I’ll just name 3 because there are literally too many to even count. But Bleach Isshin and Ichigo, One Piece Dragon and Monkey, and Naruto = Naruto and Minato. Hell, even further Shingeki no Kyojin(Attack on Titan) Eren and Greisha. They’re literally following the Shonen handbook to a T almost. Deku has the power in him that at the beginning can’t be controlled and is tearing his body apart only to eventually learn to use it to it’s full capacity without being hurt anymore. There’s the tournament arc, and a war arc which every major anime/manga has also. There’s a lot that I could say but I’ve already been at this for too long already lol. And on top of that even though it may seem a bit cliche but I’d kinda feel let down if AFO turned out not to be Deku’s father and it ended up just being some random geek of the streets lol.
According to the recent manga chapters and AFO’s face reveal, he doesn’t have freckles. He has white hair and red eyes, so he doesn’t really look like Izuku. Still, their head shapes are kind of similar and the green eyes + green hair could be genetic traits predominantly from Inko.

Maybe, when Deku's Quirk manifested without him knowing about it. AFO stole Deku's quirk while he was not looking or sleeping. It was never stated that the target needed to be conscious to have it stolen. Like how AFO self-actived Kurogir and Magna's Quirks in Kamino.
I don't know why AFO would want to settle down and have a child, when sperm donations could be a thing in MHA. But I'm guessing that it has something to do with Deku's mother.
I mean that comment All Might made about her and Nana Shimuara having similar hairstyles seems a little bit odd to me. And coincidentally having similar quirks. Nana can float herself, and Deku's mother can pull small objects towards her through telekinesis.
Not to mention having a fire-breathing quirk seems very specific. I mean, I'm sure thar there are other fire-breathers out there. But why would Korahiroshi give and name a quirk to a character who is basically off screen all the time in the first place. Unless were eventually going to show him eventually on the screen. Though if AFO isn't deku's father. Then he could just pull out that quirk and claim claim that he is him in order to trick him, or perhaps claims that you killed him.

Quirks are connected to mentality aswell as physicality, expectation of one is usually what activates it at first, so, given deku's mental state, and his willpower, I'd imagine all for one stole his quirk, but it gave him second thoughts indirectly, so he gave it back.
This can be further supported by the manga as all for one confirms that similar to the vestiges of one for all, every quirk all for one has keeps a mental link to the original user. This, and showing as to how quirks are a mental process, explains why deku's doctor is DR. Ujiko, who is basically all for ones top supporter. He could've taken a picture of the x ray a quirk less person took and just shown it to deku, relieving him of expectations, thus putting the chances of activation far lower
I've always thought that this might be it. Either him or Yorichi. If you look at Yorichi's eyes you will see that they are green meaning his brother most likely had green eyes as well (or something) and the inside story where it talks about Izuku's dad kinda points this out too. It says that his father (afo) was reminded of his brother when he met Inko. And he was taking a break from villainy but his actions caught up with him. Meaning he couldn't spend as much time as he wanted with his kid. We also learn that Afo has an obsession with stealing quirks that are strong and Izuku doesn't have one. Isn't it crazy how the one examining Izuku is the very same doctor working with Afo? This of course..is just a theory ☻️

I predict if dekus dad is all for one in the last fight between them deku will gain all for one by defeating his dad or his dad passing it on this creating the ultimate qirk. This allows all might's will to carry on and for all for one to create the ultimate quirk

Another theory: All for one is Tomuras biological grandfather.
All we know about Nanas husband is that he died witch is the reason why she put Kotaro into foster care. It is noted that most of the one for all succsesors are knda randomly picked and managed to transfer the quirk to whoever was nearby. It seems that they only really have a strong connection to the previous user witch is why Daigoro calls En master and why the only vestage that all might has any connection with is Nana who cheered him on while he was fighting All for one during the rematch. Now most of the users probably would not really remember what All for one looked like since he was murdering them even Yoichis memories has his eyes obscured and if we have the All for one is Dekus father at first Ochaco could not even remember Izukus face because he looked so plain. Yoichi could not tell them because he didn't have enough power or he just didn't bother to mention that if anyone is using Shigaraki as a name or alias they should emediatley be on guard for his brothers sceems because All might had no reaction to Tomura using the Shigaraki name. Now All for one wasen't a bad looking dude so he probably could have hooked upp with Nana or if they where married then we could tie it in to him later marrying Inko under a alias like he probably did with Nana. Now just cause bad guys could go after Kotaro Nana put him into foster care and demanded no contact with him even from her succsesor and her closest confidant and that Kotaros history was completley wiped. Seems a bit overkill unless she would think that All for one has specifically a reason to go after Kotaro and what better reason would there be than him being Kotaros father. The line about Nanas husband dying is a lie because she is protecting him from the husband aka All for one. Why eles would she not make another letter for when Kotaro was older to explain herself better because she would not want All for one to have a chance to get Kotaro. All for one and Kotaro have similar personlities both are cold and calculated but Kotaro was abel to build a succsessful buisness while All for one ruled a crimminal empire. They both had a wrathful interior and would lash out violently when slighted as seen when Tenko found Nanas picturw or when Jiro and Tokoyami broke All for ones mask. The diffrence being that Kotaro felt remorse for his actions while All for one explicitly looked down on such things. Even Tenko is similar after going through his character development he now basically leads the paranormala liberation fron and has become much more calm and calculated but he goes into rages when wronged. If you say that genetics has little to do with peronality the just look at Katsuki who is basically a copy of his mother Mitsuki. Also would make sense for why All for one would give Tomura his name because he is actually his decendant and he probably would not give it to any rando since he is so pridefull. Also Tomura looks like a copy of Yoichi with Nanas signature birthmark another reason why he was abel and willing to give him his name because he reminds him of the one person he has anything even resembeling care for.

If Deku turned out to be AFO's son, I wouldn't be surprised if Deku originally had a quirk that was similar to AFO's but was taken because AFO viewed it as a threat. For example, this quirk could've been taken and then given to someone who wouldn't be able to use it at it's full potential. Perhaps that quirk was given to Monoma. I only suggest this because Monoma is very similar to Aoyama in regards to his family's wealth and family structure. If I remember correctly, Monoma's family is dysfunctional and very obsessed with their status and appearance in society. I wouldn't be surprised if Deku originally had a quirk that allowed him to copy people's quirks without having to steal them, and that perhaps if it was in the hands of Deku (who's DNA would be better adapted to the quirk and would be able to hold more quirks in his body), he would be able to hold a much larger amount of powers, as well as hold them for a much longer period of time. We know for a fact that a person's body has to be genetically able to hold more than one quirk or else they die or go crazy. Shigi had to be modified to hold AFO -- the quirk itself wasn't sufficient for holding more than one quirk within it. So if Deku's quirk was given to someone who didn't have the genes to hold lots of quirks, it would result in someone like Monoma, who can only hold onto a few quirks at a time for a limited amount of time. If it was in Deku's hands, he would be able to hold as many quirks as AFO for an indefinate amount of time, though he wouldn't be able to give quirks away like AFO can, which is why AFO wouldn't find any real need for the quirk other than to give it to someone who couldn't use it as well.
Edit: and perhaps it was from Deku's stolen Copy quirk that Garaki first learned how to copy quirks. The timeline fits perfectly. He doesn't seem to begin creating nomus until after his meeting with young Izuku.
There's a fanfic where Deku's quirk could have been Quirksmithing which enables the quirks to be copied and combined or modified like a weapon smith which is similar to AFO and OFA. And since All Might gave OFA to Deku, he may be able to talk to the vestige and modify the quirks to decrease their harmful effects.

And by extension, to all human beings. Imagination created a product of life such as cultures, sciences/mathematics, religions, construction, etc.
Ever since the question of who is deku's father being a villain came up with the thought that gigantomachia would probably be his father. He has the Vader chest plate piece as part of his costume and he can be summoned to all for one side in a blank just like Vader probably could and think about the rage Deku would have realizing that all for one turned his father into a monster
I like the theory that AFO sired a child with Inko Midoriya in attempt to create a quirk that could steal quirks from a distance. He probably left for "Business" after Izuku was born and waited until he heard from Dr. Garaki whether or not Izuku had the quirk. If it was confirmed he would've returned from his "Business" and either straight up stole the quirk and gotten rid of Izuku and Inko or more likely imo took the quirk and swapped it with some miscellaneous minor telekinetic quirk so that no one would get suspicious before leaving back for "Business."
When Izuku was shown to not have any quirk AFO just severed connection with them for good.
I know it's not true but it's fun to think about.
Wait...I have a huge idea. What if...the reason Inko and Izuku have been able to survive so long and not have direct contact with Hisashi this whole time, (Rent and food, with no scenes showing communication or proof of funds), is because AFO communicates with Inko via radio waves (like with Aoyama) and tells her when he will send her money and how, and even has a small bit of heart to heart to keep her focused and able to carry on as a loving mother. what if the reason why she said "I'm Sorry" instead of "Don't give up!" Or "You can still be a hero!" Like Deku wanted so badly, what if she knew he's be going against the grain by wanting to be a hero regardless of how admirable that is or how possible, quirk or not. And what if the reason she was so adamant about Deku not aiming to be a hero anymore was because he had inadvertently met his father (which she saw on the news during Kamino and realized who she had married and understood his absent finally) and she feared that it would become inevitable they would have to fight someday if Deku persisted further. She doesn't seem the type to not use the time she spends home most days just sitting around doing nothing, I'd imagine she spends a lot of time thinking everything over, even considering why she never sees her own husband and has to raise Izuku alone his whole life. Sweet a person as she is, I doubt she ever imagined she'd one day suddenly become a single mom

I have a theory to add onto this one: the copy AfO quirk is a modified version of Izuku's but the doctor took it to use at a later date. It coukd be either the one Nine uses in the second movie or even the one AfO is using.
We could get something similar to the ending of Avatar The Last Airbender with Izuku taking the quirk back, leaving AfO with a fate worse then death: Quirkless

I think it makes sense, especially considering the fact that Deku's dad has always been away ever since his childhood. This event probably pertains to AFO's first battle with All Might wherein the latter defeats him, which caused him to go into hiding for a while. Because of this, he wasn't able to keep tabs on Deku's life, until he recieved OFA from All Might. And also, it is possible that AFO may have also stolen Deku's quirk when he was still a baby and he probably told Dr. Garaki to tell him that he was quirkless when he reached the age of 5, thus setting up the events of the current storyline.
I agree with alot of your statements, namely raising a family is not exactly on a Dark Emperor's to do list. But I have a headcanon for why Hisashi/All For One was absent for most of Deku's life. The thing to really make note is that If All For One is Izuku's father, its very likely he was distant with his own son to keep him safe. Ruling an underworld with enemies around every corner would be difficult enough but add a child, his sole (as far as we know) legitimate heir to his empire. The ultimate target for kidnappings and ransoms. All For One would no doubt keep his son, who i would think he cares for very deeply, out if harm's way in case a rival or a hero were to know of his child's existence.
I would suspect Inko, Deku's mom, wouldn't be oblivious to her husband's dealings and knows who he is. Its likely he revealed himself to her, either she found out accidentally or after years of being together he just explained to her he was a villain who was hundreds of years old. Maybe he offered her the same immortality as his so they can be together forever but she refused know that if the quirk wasn't compatible with her body she'd become like the Nomu. This would probably explain why All For One didn't give his son a quirk for fear it would turn him into a mindless living doll. This could also be one of the key factors as to why "Hisashi" was so distant, not to distance himself from a son who was a so called failure but to protect him even more. Izuku having no quirk would be an even easier target for All For One's enemies having no means of defending himself. So he and Inko made up the story for why he was never around; Hisashi was overseas as a cook receiving these large paychecks and sending them back home. In reality the money would be sent to the Midoriya house by shell companies and fake identity. All For One is most definitely rich and he wanted to his wife and son to live in relative comfort. So Deku would be raised as a normal kid as apposed to this prince of darkness worshiped by All For One's followers.
I kinda hope Horikoshi goes this route and shows All For One as still this living God monster but also revealing at his core he's still a human being. Capable of love and compassion towards his family. After all, it was this love that made him give (albeit forced) the stockpiling Quirk onto his younger brother creating One For All. If Horikoshi were to have revealed Deku's true parentage it would have been when All Might was fighting All For One, slipping in some detail like "how ironic I'm training your dead mentor's grandson while you're training my son". Imagine if that reveal was live and Deku heard it all. The greatest hero is the son of the greatest villain. Mic drop!

Hisashi means "Long Time No See" referencing All for One's blindness (dude has no eyes).
Izuku means "A Long Time Ago," this would imply All for One's old age.
Izuku and All for One was shown to have similar poses.
Both have a mumbling habit as well.
Both are really good at analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of quirks.
Midoriya Inko has an "Attraction" quirk, so I guess at one point, All for One copied Endeavor's idea to create a perfect child to succeed him and to get an even better quirk, where All for One can just attract quirks to himself when needed. This would make Izuku similar to Todoroki Shouto (and why Izuku and Shouto has that backstory moment when Shouto basically told Izuku he was a child born specifically for a better quirk).
Izuku lives a comfortable life despite his mom not working and is a housewife. His dad must be reasonably well off or even rich (which All for One is), and Deku is obviously using his dad's money to ironically, buy All Might merchandise, a lot of them. Otherwise, Deku would end up like Uraraka Ochaco, aka poor girl who really needs the money.
Dr. Garaki works for All for One, and is Izuku's pediatrician. He also instigated his son (who is later turned into a Nomu who specifically attacks Deku) to also bully Izuku as well, so it fits into the plan of All for One turning Izuku to the "Dark Side." Besides, if Izuku is just some random quirkless kid, why go through all this trouble at all?
Now to add onto this theory on why Dr.Garaki and All for One would pay attention to kid Deku, Deku probably has something even more powerful than a quirk, a superpower that is not a quirk. Kind of like how Spider-Man (which Deku is really similar to with Fa Jin, Danger Sense, and Black Whip) is not classified as a mutant because he does not have the X-Gene, but still has superpowers. *So Quirkless Deku having superpowers that All for One can not steal because it is not a quirk.*
If it was only 1 or 2 pieces of evidence, I would have dropped this theory of All for One being Izuku's dad. But there are too many coincidences and evidence piling up.

If AFO is dekus father, then the reason deku can hold and access all the quirks isn't because he was quirkless but because he already has a quirk (afo) that specifically allows him to naturally access other quirks- Which is why he can access them and all might could not. No user has tried to test what the power actually is which leaves it open to a quirk realization about who deku is and what his power is. He can access the vestige world because that's what his actual quirk literally is, just like AFO
What if AFO is not exactly Deku’s father but instead he took Deku’s father’s body like he is doing/did with Shigaraki’s and the reason he took Shigaraki's body now is because in his last battle OFA damaged so bad Deku’s father’s body he needed to look for another worthy vessel. Maybe Deku’s father was the unfortunate first vessel transfer of AFO or a test subject for it. I mean we know so little of him maybe he was a secret hero/agent looking for AFO and they captured him for that purpose, that would explain a lot of he not being present in Deku's life.

I think it looks like he is embracing deku, but only because he know his brothers essence is within. Did he/shigaraki not refer to deku as his brother at some point?
I want to throw my hat into this theory that we discussed in this theory video. What if all for one was inspired by Endeanvors actions to create the perfect child with a superior quirk to create a second all for one for himself. After many attempts and failures, all for one and dr garaki are about to quit until Inko came into the picture. I think all for one married Inko under his alias (the name we hear hiashi) as a get away incase his criminal empire collapsed and he had to rebuild from scratch. When Deku was born, the doctor quickly discovered that Deku had produced the second all for one quirk, he informed his master that it’s a success. In no time whatsoever, all for one steals the quirk from his recently born son. Also, because of his injuries and being maimed by all might in their final battle before the series began, he couldn’t return to Inko and Deku so he only communicated to them by phone call or mail, claiming he had to work overseas permanently in order to provide for his family, which is probably bullshit because with his resources, he probably has one of his subordinates wire transfer money to them to keep up the image of Hiashi the loving husband and father to prevent his true self from being discovered. As for how one for all hasn’t killed Deku, it’s because he was rendered quirkless before he received it but also how one for all changed again because it had merged with leftover strains of the second all for one quirk that all for one stole from Deku when he was only a baby or child, which resulted in a new one for all being created which gave it the ability to use all quirks of previous users.
That would be fricking perfect! Shame we more than likely won't be seeing this come to fruition. How this would break the fandom in half, I would love to see it

If afo was dekus father it would make sense for the fact that right after the usj when shigaraki mentioned a kid just as fast as all might, afo paused, he knew what all might was doing in ua (given the evidence he had we can assume), so y did he need to pause to think? He probably told shigaraki a bit about ofa so y not just announce that they should keep an eye on him instead of letting shigaraki hunt deku, this makes little sense unless he wanted to hide who dekus real identity is as his son (which would probably make shigaraki go nuts and destroy the entire bar)

My personal theory is that if Deku is All for One's son then his quirk might have been a variant of All for One combined with his mother's quirk. Imagine, a version of All for one where the user wouldn't have to touch you to take your quirk. Just by looking at you and levitating it out of your body would put it on as one of the most OP quirks out there.
I really don’t see him being Deku’s father. It would be shocking, but given what we know, it wouldn’t make sense
Here's another reason why AfO is Dekus dad that you missed:
Izuku can't tie neckties, guess what AfO is NEVER seen wearing even though he always wears a suit. He can't tie neckties either! :D (It's anime logic obviously, but I can totally see it!)
Everyone's listing all these cool theories and I like them all... the writer in me thought it'd be a crazy twist if Deku is actually related (ancestor) to Yoichi, not All for One. Especially with the whole second user being Bakugo's ancestor theory. The 1st and 2nd users started out as enemies but became friends. Obviously something happened to the 1st and ofa was passed to the friend, the 2nd. Star Wars, even mha has a ton of these parallels running through the overall story. So here we are in the present and Hisashi realizes that Afo is coming back into power so he ditches the family to protect them. I figure that any child of Yoichi would've been told all about uncle. This would have been passed on through the generations as Afo was still around. Maybe Hisashi planned on telling Deku but was caught by Afo instead. This could also play well with those theories on how quick Deku took to multiple quirks as it's in his DNA.
But honestly, I figure Hisashi is actually one of the high end nomus. Something to taunt Deku with along with Bakugo. The whole, you couldn't save either of them, talk that the Shigaraki/Afo will use to mess with our hero.
All for one and one for all were always in dekus genes all along which will awaken in the final arc

Hmmm… it would make sense that the Second and Third Users wouldn’t support Deku or give him access to their quirks, if they were aware that he was AFO’s son. They might be unwilling to trust him, as they could believe he won’t have the guts or the will to kill AFO once he finds out about their connection.
That might also explain why the previous users took so long to give Deku access to all of their quirks. Maybe they weren’t all sure that he was a good choice for OFA, at first. After all, they were nearly all killed by AFO personally, so it might be tough to trust someone who was birthed by their killer.
Then again, I would hate such a reveal being made right at the story’s end, where it wouldn’t have adequate emotional development or impact at all.
i know this is not related to the video, but i was thinking about something. in one of the recent chapters, its the one where deku saw something in the distance while trying to make it to shigaraki. i was thinking that what deku saw was not a person, but rather the floating coffin that contained shiggy, the big 3, and all of the others fighting in there, and that deku’s danger sense was being alerted when bakugou died

Every reason it’s not true is because all for one has been around since the first quirks he stole a quirk for him that made him like live forever or something so that’s why he made it so far

Something I find interesting is the Midoriya’s moms quirk was to bring objects towards her and AFO may have thought that he may be able to mix his quirk with hers so he would be able to bring and steal quirks towards him instead of having to touch the person to steal their quirk. But since AFO couldn’t have a kid that was born with a quirk he decided to leave them behind.

I've read quite a few fanfics where AFO is Izuku's father, one being called From Muddy Waters.
Although I'm not totally convinced on the theory even though it would be interesting
I do have more to add to it. What if Inko's pregnancy with Deku was an accident and AFO recognizing the simularties with Deku and his Mother and his mother being so empathetic and kind that he knew he wouldn't be able to manipulate Deku into being a successor of his power. So he told the Doctor to give a reason (the x-ray) on why Deku was quirkless.
Because it does makes sence if you think about it that maybe there was some truth in the lie the Doctor told. Like what if the body actually did adapt to be more streamline for quirks in the toe and everything BUT the connection of toe = quirk was false. And the toe tihng just happened to be more common among qurikless people but theres no connection to it. But AFO knowing Deku's mom and the fact Deku just being a child would beleive it as fact and wouldn't ask qeustions since its a doctor because how many times when theres been cases where people didn't ask a doctor about something they said/did and it backfired on them. And the only reason Deku's toe was like that was because his dad just happened to come from a time when that was how things were with the toe.
But maybe Deku was born with a quirk but AFO remembering how he though his brother had no quirk when it turns out he did (to pass on quirks) he wanted to make sure Deku didn't have a quirk so he took it from him just in case he did have one.

also also. We've NEVER seen AFO's ACTUAL face from a close up pannel. We only have seen it from afar which we couldn't tell WHO he was and his face is ALWAYS COVERED! Either it being from the side of his face, his eyes, and his mouth.

All of this makes sense and pin points near the fact izuku might be the spawn of All for One but I’m more curious as to how will All Might react to this if the truth is revealed, will All Might be shocked the same way when he found out Shigiraki is Nana Shimora grandson or did All Might know Izuku is All for One’s son all this time and didn’t tell izuku which may explain why he treats Izuku as if he was his son despite being his mentor to do what All for One failed to be for izuku as a child. 🤔
