I kinda feel bad for both of the brothers. Yoichi had nothing to cling to life besides the fictional ideas of Comic books and thought he wanted to be a hero. MHA is showing more and more the message how we shouldn’t have too absurd/unrealistic standards and expectations in life, especially based on Hero Comic books.
It's even worse. When you get a piece of power in real life. You act ignorant and absolute.

I like to believe that while AFO did pick up Tenko with the intent to use him as a pawn later on, there was a part of him, miniscule at it was that could empathise with Tenko. Maybe it was just manipulation, but AFO giving Tenko his family name felt way too personal even for a chronic manipulator like him. Just like how we saw in this chapter, he just sees others as objects to own and use as he see them fit. So him sharing his own name with another 'thing' just seems a bit contradictory, unless a part of him did in fact sympathise with Tenko.
Would be quite cathartic if AFO manages to reach Tomura at the very last minute and makes contact, only for the transfer to fail, all because he can't do it, for he does care for Tomura, in his own screwed up way.

I mean let's face it...people Love their things, and love sadly is not always the root for what leads to something good. Think Sherlock Holmes, people will kill out of love. Love is a complicated state that gets boxed into categories, cliches, but it's actually extremely nebulas and full of infinite myriads. AFO may indeed have learned that he loved his brother, much like power, himself and ego but being so twisted and demented. His love is more akin to a sickness or a toxicity and to others it would not be classified as such and more so called mayhaps obsession? Could make a wonderful psychological study! Debate or discussion!
Does anyone else get Romulus and Remus vibes from AFO and Yoichi's backstory. Things line up pretty well AFO wants to rule the world like Romulus did and Yoichi opposes him like Remus did

I’m pretty sure All for One is more concerned with how little time he has left than how strong Katsuki has become. He even noted Katsuki isn’t as strong as Endeavor or Tokoyami and he doesn’t have time to waste fighting him.

MHA has several dark chapters, but... this is definitely the darkest. I wonder if Horikoshi will use the next couple chapters to confirm whether or not Izuku's dad is AFO.
If he was, he would be more interested in deku since Kamino but no, he always see deku as only OFA and he only focus on Shigaraki to later gets OFA.
Even being a bad Guy, he also shows to be a family Guy, a real creepy family Guy lol so if he really was Deku's dad, he should've been obsessed on deku.
I’m not saying that I dont think all for one is dekus dad but, if he is, I feel like that ruins the story for me, a cheap rip off of Star Wars isn’t a way that would satisfy the story, and it’s not even like the theory was based on any logical evidence like the dabi theory, it’s all just “well horikoshi likes Star Wars” that’s it, that’s all, I really hope he doesn’t go there
I don't think AFO is Izuku's dad anymore. The evidence that made me believe this is the fact that AFO has the belief that everything in the world is his for the taking and the strange obsession of keeping Yoichi by his side because he believes his brother is already his contradicts the idea of AFO being Izuku's dad. Since AFO doesn't seem to have the same obsession towards him even though from his logic, Izuku is his property. But that doesn't seem to be the case since we know Izuku's dad has been absent and is known to be working abroad away from his wife and kid.
I see the replies are in doubt of the AFO is Hisashi Midoriya theory cuz he wasn't obsessed with Izuku.
I see that and raise you CRB's video on the topic. They innitially propose that AFO has been having kids all around the globe only to steal more Quirks and Inko was only one of the women he used for such a purpose (they further go on to say he had a possible memory altering quirk to modify her memory so she thinks she has a husband overseas).
This theory would work with AFO's "everything is mine" mindset. Inko and any other woman is his to do with as he pleases. He could have even forgot about Izuku and Inko after taking Izuku's quirk and leaving, he is a busy man after all. Izuku would become a nonentity after being rendered Quirkless
As for AFO's obsession with Yoichi, I could easily imagine it's cuz Yoichi was with him from the start. The whole "Everything is mine" shows narsesism so of course he'd wanna keep the audience that's been there from the start around
From my perspective this chapter pretty much kills the Dad-For-One Theory. He would have locked up Inko and Izuka the way he did Yoichi if he were actually Hisashi Midoriya because he would view them as his possessions.
I like this backstory because it’s not a cliche empathetic villian backstory. All For One was an asshole since birth! So we all have no remorse if he dies at the end! Beautiful and original! 👏👏👏👏👏

Sociopaths tend to present themselves in cold demeanours, having an absence of empathy or very little regard for other people, most commonly manifesting in manipulative behaviours geared towards one's own benefit.
Psychopaths tend to present much more extreme behaviours, not out of an absence of empathy but an uncontrollable disregard for it, most commonly manifesting in fits of rage and anger.
It's important to note neither are realistically speaking, more inclined to be violent than anyone else, that's just a view born of sensationalism, but All For One is most definitely moreso Sociopath coded

I've been thinking about the "true" first quirk user for like 350+ chapters because if most quirks manifest at adolescents and that fact seems to be consistent, then the glowing baby couldn't have been first. And it has been literally been written in my face from chapter one with a single word "documented."

I would love to have 2-3 more chapters of AFO flashback going throughout everything in the past from him hunting down all the OFA users to being behind the Tenko situation and ending on the prime All Might vs AFO fight...I'm begging that Hori does this pls
Don't think he's gonna show Prime AM vs AFO. But i think next chapter will be flashes of everything AFO passed through his life after Yoiichi's death, The 3rd name, how he kill him and everyone till Nana and already will return to Present to show his feelings in not really reach deku and Shigaraki.
I really wanted he defeats Bakugou and goes in a rampage to kill deku and steal OFA and Shigaraki's body, but in this moment he becomes baby AFO due Bakugou's attacks and he attacks everything, becoming a True menace to everything in Japan, which will force deku and Shigaraki to kill him. 410-411 would be their fight and AFO's death, which leads to deku and Shigaraki finally having their Last fight, without no one else to help deku or Shigaraki.
But by Horikoshi, Bakugou is gonna blast and kill AFO and end this shit.
I say AFO backstory is chapters 407-409

Kinda weird to think about but I feel bad for All for One. He reminds me of Toga, where her quirk kinda makes her who she is where she needs blood to survive and she developed a love connection through blood. All for One was born with that built in need to be selfish and have everything because of the quirk he had. Then it became who he was and was ultimately engrained in him after reading the comic about the demon lord. It sucks how fucked up these ppl end up becoming just bc of the quirk they’re born with

Legit, it's really interesting the concept of how quirks either influence or are influenced by the person's personality - Toga's fascination with blood because of her quirk, La Brava's intense feelings of love due to her own quirk, and now All For One's desire to take and control and own everything because of his own quirk (and maybe Yoichi's desire to do good because of his innate "giving" quirk, passing on quirks, the antithesis of his brother's quirk, making him want to be selfless)
Be honest I had a feeling that All For One and Yoichi were likely Twins. Which is Ironic being twins it's in a way seen as they can be one person which is What All for One really wants but even tho you think they would have super close and unique bond but they are so far apart from each other it's more like All For One is on one side of the earth while Yoichi is all the way in the opposite side of the earth. Also interesting Deku and Kacchan grow up together kind of like brothers but dripped apart do to Kacchan's actions and behavior later growing close again cause of Kacchan deciding to change for the better and wanting to put Deku's happiness before himself.

The call out about the rats eating the mother's body is too suspicious to be ignored. Their mom has a quirk - gets eaten by rats - glowing baby shows up a year later?? I think that's something potentially important.
Then the mother didn't have her quirk when the rats came to eat the two babies and the mother. Because All for One had taken his mother's quirk when he was a baby.
But she still has the genetic mutation. So the rat theory still works.

I’m starting to believe AFO only wants One For All cause it’s the only thing currently in the world that reminds him of his brother. (Most anime characters tend to desperate want something that belongs to their love ones). If AFO takes One For All, all it does is give him Spidey powers with Smokescreen.
I’m actually curious who the luminescent baby grew up to be and what his “luminescent” quirk does.
But that's the point, he already has Power enough to destroy everything, we see that in this War, masked, prime and his teenager version, every version could destroy a country if he really wanted, few heroes could really deal with him alone, OFA is Just a boost to his Power, but mainly a memory of his brother.

Well now we know what color AFO’s Lantern Ring would be, and that would be an Orange Lantern of Avarice.
The good in AFO is incredibly obvious. He loves his brother. Their history proves that. Otherwise there would be no reason to keep him around and protected before they knew about his quirk.

I always assumed there were likely others with quirks well before the glowing child. Glad to see I was at least right about one thing.
Quirks probably started showing up way before but at a rate that they were few and far between. Eventually they couldn't be hidden away anymore, especially when a literal spot light was shown on one of them.

The medical condition they have is called twin to twin transfustion syndrome or TTS it's where one twin get's more nurance and oxogen ( the recapiant aka all for one ) and the doner ( the first user) give him all of his nurance they look to be in stage 2 to three than the other it mainly happens in identical twins who share a placinta this can have some affect's on the babies health and how they develop and grow such as the first user being extramly sick and small i know this becuse the same thing happened to me and my twin brother their is a very unlikly chance both babies would survive but what do ya know look it up if you want to learn more

@@Ch4rlz_ThA_Princ3 well I’m no expert on this 😅but I agree with you as I am Catholic and I have seen many things about TTS and it’s interesting how it affect so many babies…and even mothers..as my mom almost died during pregnancy with us and I was born dead and my twin brother was on the cusp of death but after a miracle we were given the middle name Jude as he is the sant of lost cause and my twin brothers name means guardian angel as he’s the one who saved my life by giving me some of his blood and my name means gift from god as my life was a gift from him as a second chance and we are 17 now and still going strong including my mother

That is a really neat story though. And it sounds like you and your twin were born out of love, for ive always speculate that of the many seemingly unexplainable "miracles", that humans do experience (though many will subconsciously compartmentalize those experiences as tricks of the mind), they really do seem to occur to either 1 of 2 classes of people:
A) Those who have genuinely done their best in life, to love, tell the truth, and spread as much of it as possible. And,
B) Those who have lived sinful lives and gone through tremendous suffering, yet still refuse to give up the last of their humanity, and when eventually completely lost and broken down, finally make a genuine good faith attempt to ask the creator for assistance, because they can genuinely finally see it might be worth it to swallow their pride and turn towards this supposedly all-powerful transcendent force--even if just the idea alone might be able to ease their suffering & the cycles of self destruction many find themselves trapped in.
I feel like the reason why All for one chose Tenko shimura/Tomura Shigaraki was because Tenko looks like his brother in a way and has somewhat of a similar backstory.
We had AOF and Yoichi backstory more detailed! Is it too to ask for Izuku Midoriya: Origins Part 2 (or even more)?

@@axzzzza3474 yeah, i know, and even being the protagonist, he didn't got anything i said, while Bakugou specially, but also Shoto and Shigaraki got their origin and Rising chapters, while deku got only his origins chapter that was the first chapter.
Horikoshi handled so much with Bakugou's story that Many times forgot of Deku's and only got him stronger Powers, deku didn't even said too much in this final arc, he almost become mute at this point lol he only cries, scream or think.
I hope Bakugou vs AFO ends as fast as it can Just to deku got something to say lmao Horikoshi forgot of him.

Deku’s fight is the most important fight and he’s the protagonist Horikoshi is saving his moments for last it’s basic shonen stuff stop being impatient
Fan fact: That those spikes quirk that was the one that all for one gave away in one flashback we saw one's (don't remember when) when all for one was taking a quirk from some guy that didn't want his and another that was quirkless all for one gave him that one with spikes!
Now thinking about it, considering that quirks changes a persons mind so they can better use their quirk (like toga's quirk) maybe it isn't too farfetch that AFO was born thinking that everything belongs to him.
The sutble reference to the Roman myth of Romulus and Remus did not go unnoticed by me. In it, after Rome is founded Remus insulted it and was killed by presumably his brother. Here we have Youchi who stood against the world his older twin brother had created and died fighting against him. AFO was obviously not happy about his brothers defiency which would be the insult in this case.
Whenever AFO’s backstory ends it will show Bakugo vs AFO ends and after that there’s Deku vs Shigaraki, Eraser Head and Present Mic vs Kurogiri and Ryukyu’s Team vs Gashly
This chapter threw me for a loop. Yoichi, AFO, and their mother may be the very first quirk users in MHA's entire existence? AFO is the personification of greed and terror incarnate. And thanks to Animac's theory of quirks being the result of experiment by the government creating super-soldiers, could the entire story how and why quirks came to be would be possibly revealed thanks to Hisashi Midoriya?
That’s how it always goes honestly… The hero’s start to do good and get a hang of it then it all backfires, the hero’s get injured, they loose, it all fails and backfires in the end tho I’m rooting for the hero’s I just hope it doesn’t go like that like it typically does..😐😬 Especially with Bakugo and Deku on the field knowing they’re stronger than the hero’s, anything could go wrong. Example: the AllMight fight, the recent one. He was doing good, the gear suit was doing good, it then backfires and ends up almost getting ripped in half but the good thing is sometimes if hori gives us mercy, they do good, then bad, then good again and win like the afo vs am fight, am final battle (am:allmight). So far, it’s good, then bad, then good but let’s hope it continues to go good and the hero’s finally win, as they lost the last war.
Fun fact: Yoichi comic SuperHero is "Captain Hero" we had a Captain Hero years ago... But he was "Drawn Togehter" to be the worst one.😂😂

if our positions were switched... Would our fates be different? Would I have your life, and you mine? Let's settle this...
Reading the previous chapter again, I think that by severing Yoichi's hand caused a wound that led to his eventual death, which is why Kudo told AFO, that he killed his brother.
While it is technically possible to survive losing a hand, in context, the world was in chaos with the advent of Meta abilities, and AFO's reign. It's likely that it just wasn't feasible for Yoichi to receive proper medical treatments in time. Additionally, he was weak, frail, and malnourished.
Also, I think related to Bakugo by blood. Not sure if it's through Bakugo's paternal or maternal side, though. Bakugo looks most like his mother, especially with the hair, and it's possible that neither Bakugo nor his parents inherited the gear shift quirk factor.
I'd like it, but I doubt it. It's too on the nose.

It’s kinda like quirks have a sorta instinct it instills in it users. Quirks may ‘want’ to be used. Like how toga wants to drink blood, AFO being so greedy, and people wanting to be heroes.

Man, I can imagine if they bring this flashback in the show instead of cutting to a scene of it we actually see Deku and shigaraki still struggling against each other but suddenly there minds actually get sent back to the vestige world and they see each other but they can’t move with their arms and that is when all the anger of all for one create another flashbacks seen but this time it takes them back to his beginning of his memory.
And we can imagine how Deku and shigaraki are gonna to react to it
Deku would be even more angrier with AFO and would Hope Bakugou ends with him as fast as he can while Shigaraki would Just say another bullshit of "cruel world" and "sensei never changed" but would still focus in kill deku to later kill AFO.

I think All For One is going to make it to Shigaraki, Because this is an anime and most animes don't have their villains reach their final form. I think after this point however, He will try to steal One For all, And during the struggle, Deku will redeem Shigiraki, and the two of them will work together as Vestages, to fight All For One in their minds, and eventually beat him, with Bakugo maybe killing the physical body of All For One.

I guess horikoshi saying years ago that he wants the series to go until chapter 500 was correct. We’ll probably get the main story finished around chapter 480 to 485 and then we’ll probably get a few extra chapter showing everything happening in the heroes peaceful lives post a time skip.

All for one is like Apocalypse from Xmen. Afo is the very first quirk user, while Apocalypse, however, is the very first mutant. Both are similar in a way, but both live in different eras of time.
Also both gods in there own right and being able to impower there servants. Could AFO be based off of Apocalypse? I'm thinking that's the case.

AFO is kinda like magneto and his brother is kinda like xaiver moral wise in a sense. the meta liberation army is like the brotherhood of evil mutants and the heroes are the x-men. we know horikoshi is a huge spider-man, i wouldn't be surprised if he threw a few other marvel references in there.

As we just saw the birth of the quirk “All For One” I think we’re all about to see the the birth of the fully realized quirk “One For All”. Quite literally. Midoria will be able to share his multiple quirks, with multiple people at the same time. Making him the greatest hero.
The Pandora box in one for all is that,they say that only quirk less people can really have or make the best out of one for all cuz if you have quirks you die young but then will all for one or shigaraki be ok since they have so many quirks?🤔or will they die like the previous owners,maybe another quirks will help and they won’t🤨but then it won’t make sense on what the first and the others said🤷🏻♀️I’m kinda confused in that aspect😇

If there's a sequel i can only think of the themes it explores. Drugs, domestic abuse, racism. It would get pretty real.
Considering Horikoshi loves to suck Bakugou's balls and give everything to his massive fandom, nothing serious will happen with Bakugou, he probably won't fight after this AFO fight, probably pass out, but i really Hope AFO ends with this fight to really focus in kill deku and gets OFA and gets Shigaraki's body, which will force deku and Shigaraki to team up to kill him. Bakugou being the one that defeats him will always be forced as fuck to me.
I still expect deku and Shigaraki vs AFO before the final battle for real (deku vs Shigaraki) but coming from Horikoshi, Bakugou will defeat AFO.
They already explored all of those themes. You had to be able to read between the lines.
