If you think about it, Dabi was not only seen as a failure by his father, but he was called a failure by a man who was viewed as a savior by other villains. Essentially being rejected by both heroes and villains, making him a complete reject, which is tragic.
Let's not get carried away, Endevour reiterated to Dabi multiple times that he wasn't a failure. Dabi just convinced himself that he was because he couldn't reach what Endevour wanted him to. The Todoroki/Dabi family storyline has always been the most compelling thing in MHA for me , Touya keeps climbing as possibly the saddest backstory in the show . His first instinct when waking up was to go apologize to his family… PAIN man… 😭
Horikoshi woke up and chose pain and I bet he’s crying right now writing these and fleshing these chapters out. Dabi deserved so much better than the hand he was dealt. He’s a walking tragedy and he’s only alive out of pure spite and vengeance. I absolutely love him and adore his character. He’s literally the best character in the series. Without a doubt.
Yeah, ok, that was his first instinct but what was his first action? He burnt down a fucking kindergarten full of children. The dude was off his rocker.
Looking back at when he was reminiscing about Snatch's last words to Dabi ("Have you ever thought about the feelings of those your victims left behind?") and his response was his bleeding tear ducts and saying "I've thought about it so much that I've gone crazy." I wonder if Dabi was thinking about the first victim of his fires: himself as Touya. And the feelings of his family: nothing changed except for an alter in one room and a new victim of abuse in the next. It probably would drive one crazy seeing that even their own 'death' couldn't change their father into a better person.
@Alexandria That alone is why the actual redemption of Endeavour now is bogus. It wasn't even set in motion because he felt bad, it was set on that path as a means to be a better hero. Endeavour should be rotting in jail.
He wasn't reminiscing Snatch's words. Endeavor mentioned Snatch's death to Dabi, but Dabi didn't remember him. So he thought about it all day trying to remember who was Snatch, before having the blood tear.
@@djantouahmed7319 But then he _did_ remember Snatch and what followed is the scene from above. He remembered the last words of the late hero and responded to them with his own thoughts. That's what I'm getting at.
Dabi has been shown to be a reference to *Frankenstein's monster* narratively in this chapter and even visually in pro hero arc when he goes to meet Endeavor. He does the monster pose with his hands in ch 191, which seems to be a homage to an image exactly like that with Frankenstein's monster.
@@white0thunderwhite0thunder71 I don't think he cares to. As long as he can kill Shoto that's all he cares about, that'll be his proof of existence he needed
We saw from the first war - Dabi felt angered towards Hawks when he said Twice was the biggest threat in the League of Villains for Hawks to deal with instead of him (said he should have been watching him). All he wanted in life was recognition, to be the first at something, to not be overlooked in general. Yet he always ends up in someone's else shadow. Like with Endeavor having Shoto as the prized son (as a child Toya told Endeavor to look at him). And now we see he was a potential back up plan for AFO too.
Dabi simply didn't want to disappear... He didn't want to fade away into nothing, even if it meant scarring the very planet with his all consuming flames.
@@playboyx1114 he didn't change his appearance because he wanted, the burns can't get off you clown. He changed his name because he saw that to his family he was dead
@@ira4837 So you believe dyeing his hair black wasn't him trying to conceal his appearance? Also he went with the alias Dabi to prevent Endeavor and other heroes from discovering his identity.
I've always been way more invested in dabi than AFO and whatnot, glad that this chapter was an absolute ripper, seriously one of the top 5 chapters in MHA for a Villain or the whole series
Man I really feel even more sorry for Dabi/Touya now after for what Endeavor has done to him and the rest of his own family, I know he's still trying to get his redemption arc done but what he did and caused was horribly unforgivable, this is seriously giving me some Azula vibes from Avatar with her father ozai but Man this is insane but that still doesn't have justifies his actions of being a killer arsonist especially now.
IMO "Niji" (Rainbow) by Shinkuhorou fits him. It's used as Naruto Shippuden ending 28, and IMO the lyrics fits Touya's life, from being a nice and happy kid to whatever he is today. One of them is "I get it, no one but I will cross the sky full of rainbows".
Personally Endevour seemed to actually care for Touya , but he also suffered a lot. That still doesn't justify what he did to Shoto , but thinking his redemption has been going on for soo long and naturally and seeing him try , I'd say he won me over.
well endavour getting redemption without getting punished is the worst massage to give the reader. So you can commit domestic violence and not get punished.
If all of the children in All For One's "personal collection" became the League of Villains instead of what we got in canon, it will be more awesome for sure because the idea of them becoming what could the students of Class 1-A have become would be too great to ignore! Heck, they may even come across the reformation preached by the Peerless Thief somehow and used that as the justification for their war against the heroes and the society that ditched them behind. But man, Kurogiri might went Moondrop if he had to take care of all them at once along with Shigaraki and Dabi!
That symbolism of him paying his respect to his old self is cold . I honestly respect Dabi a bit more even now after this chapter, he maybe was a bit obsessive but that was honestly just his love & loyalty to his father , He even knew he was nothing more than a pawn to his father at first & he still tried to find reason to believe him then just finally just couldn’t deal with it anymore , he came to terms for what he was . He’s now just a avenger Sb : a army of super powerful children vs Ua would’ve definitely been a vibe . A lot of casualties for sure .
I’m hoping Touya doesn’t die here, I’m hoping he’s merely burning away all the skin Dr. Ujiko used to save him. Hoping for a miracle quirk, that can save him. Shoto needs to put him in ice, just so he won’t die. Also crazy that both AFO and Dr. Ujiko were in shock that he was still alive. When they assumed his weakened body should have died in a month.
IKR, how is the todoroki family supposed to get a happy ending if there eldest son died again, like how is that fair to dabi? that would be the most tragic backstory if he just died
This was a great chapter finally. When it comes to the villains, it’s always good. This really made me feel bad for Touya and what he went through while giving more emphasis on AFO being even more monstrous. Considering how he’s using his flames, Touya may not survive in the end.
I think Dabi's power is actually phoenix flames, or that not only do emotions effect the temperature of his flames, but also the property of them. By that, I think that his flames are destructive when he's angry, or in despair, but if he's happy and full of love they will heal. Endeavour, or possible the entire family will likely embrace Dabi when he tries to self destruct with his flames, willing to burn up with him, which will in turn reveal the true abilities of his flames.
Imagine if there was a competition arc made by All for One for all of his potential successors to see which one of them is worthy of being the heir to the throne.
Dabi is hands down my favorite character. He is so well written and his story is so well thought out and Horikoshi just keeps surprising me. I’m both very excited and very anxious to see how things go for him. Horikoshi absolutely deserves to take a break next week after this banger of a chapter. Dabi is absolutely a character he should be proud of.
It really sucks that it looks like we’re gonna lose Dabi. I haven’t seen that many anime, but the impact this character has on MHA, it feels like losing Escanor from 7DS all over again.
This is why dabi is still one of my favorite characters with how complex he is.He wasn’t one to be able to be controlled by AFO and would have still wanted to be good if AFO hadn’t lead him to insanity but he was also broken .But the damage was done and now we see that he is now stronger than even endeavor with his flames being far stronger and his body still intact.I honestly always like this character from the very beginning since he appeared.
I'm obsessed with dabi. I've always looked up to his character but also wish to know more about him. His motives seem quite vague throughout the series so now that i can see (what seems to be his complete backstory) i feel both hope and fear for Dabi.
Man. I seriously need to know how AFO knows how these kids are the ONES. The fact his hat is on gives more connection to the man who visited the Shimura home before the slaughter of the family. Giving more reason to think he did in fact give decay to Shigaraki. I also need to bring up a detail NO ONE talks about. The 5th new hand he was given after killing the alcoholic shits that beat him for sitting there. It appeared out of NO WHERE. And we just accepted it was there. That hand HAS to be Nana’s. If decay was used to kill Nana, and then given to Tenko, HOLY HELL. Dabi was out for 3 years. Covered in burns from the bottom up. And just TRULY incinerated. And that shot of AFO appearing before him and then talking through the blank TV with the doctor like in season 1 and 2. A hospital of children so full of resentment. But his life lasted WAY longer than AFO and the Doctor predicted after they let him loose to fall apart. I’m thinking Dabi received other quirks. And it reflects like All-Might’s opinion of Shoto. Had I given him OFA, he would’ve been unstoppable. Dabi was the same. But there HAS to be something more to his longevity we don’t know. I thought Dabi would use the ice to survive but cause even worse skin damage. Which WOULD still fit considering he looks WAY worse than his initial surgery. (Which would also be bad due to growing but then it shouldn’t STILL be on him.) Goes to show what happens when the grooming process for an AFO child starts late though. He was going to go right back, apologize and try AGAIN to learn from Endeavor. I think he really did understand Endeavor did love him. I need more context on how this is going to go further. There’s a LOT here to analyze but without further context, all I know is the Zuko vs Azula fight is gonna be happening for the next few chapters. And I STILL think that ice is coming. And maybe even more now.
There is only one way I can see shoto getting out of this, and that's with the death of dabi. Thus man cannot be stopped, and as such, he must be ended for anyone to be safe. As much as I love dabis character and want to see his redemption, his body and mind are too far beyond repair. Even if shoto doesn't kill him, Dabi is gonna burn up into nothing
I think the end of this fight is Shoto just surviving Dabi's rage, then as Dabi starts breaking down and dying Shoto is gonna promise to remember Touya as the only child who ultimately loved his family the most.
@@white0thunderwhite0thunder71 man, what you wrote really got to me & made me all emotional. It's so raw but true. Dabi lost his way & lost all his meaning in life when Endeavour replaced him with Shoto. I think the way you said this, would be a perfect ending for Dabi. Bringing everything to a full circle in his character arc.
@@white0thunderwhite0thunder71 Toya truly was the one who loved the family the most. Fuyumi forced her abused little brothers into a relationship with Enji just for her own childish hopes, not caring how they feel, Natsuo never really knew his dad or Shoto because they were kept separate all their lives, and Shoto never knew his big siblings, was constantly abused by his father, and his mither was locked up in a mental hospital for a whole decade of his life. Toya, on the other hand, was the first child, he knew a happy Rei and an Endeavour who was at least a good and supportive parent and had a good relationship with his little sister. It went downhill when Endeavour became too obsessive, and he suffered from his want to impress his dad and get his perceived love back.
I think dabi’s quirk is a set up for him to become some type of fire elemental being that doesn’t require a physical body, like a spirit flame or demon flame, it makes sense because endeavors quirk is called hell flame and this chapter made a lot of demon references, notice how dabi gets stronger as he burns more of his body away, it’s either a phoenix quirk or some type of flame deity Garaki even called him a “thing” almost as if he’s not even a human, it seems like AFO and GARAKI are terrified of dabi and his quirk lowkey, the fact that AFO admits he can’t handle dabi’s quirk speak volumes on his actual power, there’s definitely more to his power than just super hot blue flames, he’s never had a quirk evolution throughout the series so this is his last chance to shine Another note to add, dabi is not going to Die fighting shoto so it’s obvious he’s going to transform because endeavor is not on the battlefield dabi is destined to fight his father, shoto is literally a warm up
I know at this point a lot of people are saying that Touya may not survive, but I still want to hope that he will. I mean, he’s completely destroying himself with his flames but I’m trying to be optimistic because dear god, all this boy wanted was to be loved. As with all dramatic fights, now we’ll just have to count on Shoto to call out all the ways his beliefs that he was rejected are bullshit.
I was actually hoping deep down his "cremation" quirk would somehow incorpate some sort of ice revival power or some such. Still most interesting character for sure 👌
I think the closest we'll get to anything like that about AFO's personal vessels is Nine from the 'Hero's Rising' film and No. Six from the 'Vigilantes' prequel manga.
Dabi might not be the demon king he was created to be, but he definitely earns the title of demon general. The one who goes through length greater then the demon kings at times for his selfish goals.
....Dabi wasn't created to be the Demon King. AFO is the Demon King. Though idk why they're still using the Demon King analogy when that was Shiny boy who used it
Two be honest I highly doubt he would of be able to turn lzuku because he wish to be a hero his whole life he just doesn't have the personally to kill like Mostly every villain in the lov
Dabi now seems like a literal candle, with a faint expression of life and color to his world but blue.. flames, and "failure". His fate is to die I guess, but man he is the best character in MHA for me.
If they had a bunch of High End Nomus that even Endeavor could barely defeat one of, then there'd be 0 reasons/excuses for allowing the heroes to win. Every UA student would've just died to them.
Unfortunately, rumors say the Shueisha is rushing Horikoshi to rush the ending and villain parts. It did feel like Horikoshi didn't have the time to expand on Dabi's backstory and packed it in a single chapter.
Waiting for the whole Family to show up and go full Ice mode stopping Dabi from destroying himself. Eri channnnn be our plot armor to restoring him back to normal 😂😂😂😂
Except they made it clear it's the fire that's burning him is what's also keeping him alive. He's an engine that's on the verge of melting; too hot to keep going but the moment it cools the engine in gonna break apart.
@@white0thunderwhite0thunder71 idk endeavor isnt even there so if Dabi died in this fight then the whole endeavor toya fued would be invisible if i explained that right ha. I think itll come together. And the family with rei etc involvement when endeavor was crying would kinda be pointless. So at some moment i think the family will have a moment where they beg him to stop and then will figure out his fate if he chooses to die.
You can say his character arc is really “well done”. He is going to roast Shoto before finally fizzling out to ashes. Just a prediction since I don’t see him being alive after his fight against him.
I’m very concerned for shoto, that much heat! Dabi said he wanted to get ride of everything endeavour built, and going back to his original plan, means shoto! With that kind of heat built up, it could do some serious damage to shoto and the other hero’s around him like Ida!
@@noonesarino7913 The fact that Touya is _melting_ the statue of All Might pretty much guarantees that ice isn't going to stop him on its own; best Shouto can do is make a wall of it to buy a little bit of time.
Most likely not gonna happen. But a interesting way Dabi's quirk could evolve would be to make him have the properties of a Phoenix. But specifically in the sense where he burns himself to ashes and comes back, being fueled by his flames of insanity. It would be a fuck you to both men who called him a failure. Where he achieved All for One's goal of true immortality all on his own while also not being to be manipulated by AFO. And at the same time being an undying symbol of his father's failures, forever torturing him with the visage of the son he destroyed and being a ghost of his past unable to die and the more he destroys in general, the more of his father's legacy is destroyed and the more the idea of heroes goes along with it But this is more of a fanfic/musing idea than anything serious
I liked dabi’s backstory but I never saw him as a major threat, dude was a one trick pony who just fire blasted whatever was in front of him, and if that didn’t work, an L was soon to follow (Aizawa, Vlad, Gran Torino, Giganto machia etc). I had hoped that he would’ve been Nomufied or Shigaraki gave him a second quirk to help with his weakness, but I guess we’ll see what comes from this fight
@@ritter11ftw twice’s clones are only less durable that the original, but they possess the same powers and personality, and based on his other showings, I don’t think those fights would’ve gone any differently
@@JDWalker495 hahaha what you cant assume. And no they dont posssess the same abilities at all. Dabis flame power is greatly reduce and they die after a couple hits. Completely unfair to just assume theyd lose in the fights. Look at the last chapters shit vlad could not deal with dabi in this chapters and even one eyed aizawa would die to. Not fair to just assume the fights based on clones.
@@ritter11ftw 1)ok just went back and looked at the description of twice’s quirk and it says the clones have “personalities and abilities completely identical to the original.” We know that they die after a couple of hits but still the quirks possess the same amount of power, as a clone of pre awakened Shigaraki could decay a building by itself. (2) the reason why Dabi quirk is more impressive in this chapter is because he is no longer caring about his body as it’s literally breakdown just to keep outputting this power. Against this Dabi yeah vlad wouldn’t be able to get close but that because the intense heat and flames are going crazy. And look who’s being unfair now, Aizawa at this point is damn near a cripple, of course he’d lose like that, but if he was in the same shape as forest training camp, Dabi would be done in pretty easy Every fight Dabi has been before this point he’s either had others backing him up, or caught his opponent off guard or weakened, and even then his win lose record is spotty. To me he’s gotten this far by luck and if he had encountered a real pro he’d be done. Case in point, he ran from Miruko when confronting Endeavor and Hawaii’s
If he dies, it would pretty poetic that they show it kinda like: (This would appear while his ashes show, due to literally burning till he cease to exist) Villain: Touya *dead* Quirk: cremation (ik it's not confirmed)
Dabi’s hair was red but due to him using his quirk it ended changing from red to white. That’s why his hair is red in that part of the anime, it wasn’t a mistake that was made it was intentionally made to be that way
What if it turns out Dabi’s a half nomu and has a secret extra quirk that he’s been keep as a trump card which is also why his quirk hasn’t killed him yet? Because the main purpose of nomus is creating a humanoid with multiple quirks
I can imagine Dabi burning his entire body until we see nothing but bones! Giving him a slight resemblance to The Ghost Rider and the Spirit of Vengeance.
I imagine if the anime reached this point in the future, the anime ending would be like Naruto Shippuden ending 28, where it focused on Touya and on how he started as a bright child and to whatever he is today. I recommend y'all to check out Naruto Shippuden ending 28, or "Niji" by Shinkuhorou
I love that he gonna die a villain I mean he my favorite villain! Man is just to saucy and I didn’t want them to use talk no jutsu on him and make him turn good
i WANNA see how shoto improve on his moves I wanna see him get creative against Dabi I always liked Dabis character and nice to hear his story some quotes really can hit deep
Given that All For One is currently facing off against Endeavor, I would like to see All For One engage in some psychological warfare, maybe try to trip him up by constantly bringing up his treatment of Dabi and his family. Speaking of Dabi, there's no way I can see Dabi surviving by the end of the series. Not with the way he's recklessly abusing his Quirk.
Deku is the only one that takes out the most villains of all Class 1-A but Dynamight, Shoto, Uravity & Froppy will keep up with him cause they’re fighting against their opponents Tomura Shigaraki, Dabi & Himiko Toga with Twice’s Blood & as for Ingenium if Hero Killer: Stain is at Kamino he will fight him & Tsukuyomi will be with the Pro Heroes to take down Nomus (Near High-Ends) & the armies of Paranormal Liberation Front/League of Villains while Endeavor & Hawks fight against All For One & the rest of Class 1-A will fight the armies of Paranormal Liberation Front/League of Villains & Spinner I don’t know who will fight him my guess is either Red Riot & Pinky
Yeah that could be possible Stain vs Spinner but what about Ingenium finds Stain after his fight against Spinner and then Ingenium will have his rematch against Stain for still wanting his revenge about his brother and learns that he escapes from prison and he will battle him by himself this time without needing Deku & Shoto help like the Hosu City Incident
So dabi is this world's equuvalent of the joker. Psychotic, chaotic, discarded, and deformed. The main difference (aside from the powers) is that this unhinged individual does not have the nihilistic self awareness that joker has; while joker thinks everything is meaningless outside of the person serving as his ideological counterbalance, dabi desperately sought meaning after having it torn away from him. Feeling like he was discarded and replaced so easily, became a living corpse being forced to live by his own burning desire for vengence. I think the moment he really became the dabi we know now, was when he went back and saw todoroki being trained the same way as if nothing happened. He lived to be a "failure" and "died" for nothing. It might be petty to take it out on todoroki, but he lost 3 years of his life and his younger brother is Endevaor's pride and joy...he is still a mentally damaged child in terms of maturity, his tantrums and cries for approval just happen to invoke the endless infernos of hell.
I have to agree with most people here. Dabj is just far better written than nearly anyone else. I'm not invested in either AllForOne. What I don't understand is how Toya gets burned by his powers when he is constantly throwing flames and clearly not burning himself.
I think I can help... maybe. Toya's flames are fueled by his intense emotions. The more emotional he gets, the hotter and more intense his Cremation quirk becomes. If he's normally shooting fire, then it won't harm him as much.
@@nookleer I think that's just it. He's burning his entire body- a fireproof suit wouldn't cut it. We saw the previous panels that Dabi's body is downright disintegrating.
On the subject of those possible All For One candidate kids, I had a similar thought. It mostly revolved around Dabi as the true heir of the Demon Lord instead of Tomura, but now with this chapter it all makes things more interesting. Imagine in an AU where Dabi didn't burn down the (for lack of a better word) "Orphanage"/"daycare of evil", he could have grown up with these similarly abandoned and rejected children and started seeing them the family he's always wanted. Find meaning and belonging in these people. All For One could be the father he never had, encouraging him to use his power for what it was worth and not squander it. Maybe depending on how much they achieved or good behavior, All For One could give his "children" a Quirk as a reward, Dabi gets Tomura's Quirk for example or a regeneration power to help reduce damage. Then over time Dabi could become sorta a leader among the kids like the ultimate big brother who looks after his family. I actually love Plot's suggestions for having a team made up of successor candidates, the children who grown up with these insane quirks and who are as intelligent as All For One himself, all lead by Big Brother Dabi (Dabi Aniki for the weebs like me). They could be like the Knights of Ren or the Sinister Six, an elite shock trooper force among their father's army. Pretty interesting stuff, am I right?
I noticed a connection between Dabi and Number 6 with the latest chapters of MHA and MHA Vigilantes… they both are set on their own self-destruction just to at least leave a mark on the world. Wonder if there’s more to it?
Its intersting to see how Overhaul also woke up in AFO's Villian Daycare service. Even though Dabi essentially killed most of the Demon King saplings there, I wouldnt be surpised if there were others . I doubt MHA will continue that much after Shigarki/AFO are gone , but it would be interesting to see if any other Demon King saplings rise up and continue where AFO left off.
Daniel looks like a freaking beast right there. A rotting corpse, more spirit than man manipulated by flames born of his own madness hatred and despair. A walking nuclear fire ready to be seen by the world at any cost to prove his life had meaning. Fucking sick
10:00-10:08 For Class 1-A new Super Moves coming from Second War I would say Deku is Faux 100%: Air Force, New York Smash & United States of World Smash, Dynamight is Cluster: Explosive Force & AP Shot: Bazooka, Shoto is Flashfire Heatfist, Uravity is Zero Impact Whip & Counter Fist, Ingenium is Rocket Charge & Froppy is Froppy Hopper
I was thinking the same thing as you, that a young villain army for the demon lord All For One Vs a young hero army for All Might/Deku... this could get the fanfiction writers thinking of ways like this.
Dabis scars now seem more like skin graft rejection and since it from a nomu creation like process. The good doctor saying he should have died leads me to believe that at least partly some ability’s of the transplants might have passed over likely a very very weak regeneration ability or a durability enhancement. This makes Dabis actions make more sense his mind is likely shattered since not even his body is actually his he’s literally had dead people or monsters replacing large parts of him. Dabi is the polar opposite to all for one dabi cares not for his own body, his very own life willing to do everything. I’m guessing dabi/toya had a temporary quirk awakening drastically magnifying his strength then due to the trauma he was going at the time he repressed it. Now it could culminate at the apex of the fight we see a psudo nomu transformation and a drastic as in scary amplification of strength. Yea that whole energy born from all creation thing feels like it’s a hint to what’s might come from Dabis potential awakening might be . Would be cool if he becomes a living flame like the human torch but more so.
I'm curious as to why All for One didn't give Dabi a fire resistant quirk, now that I think about it, especially when he was getting reconstructed. I'm sure AFO would have had some quirk like that. But perhaps Dabi didn't want it, which would be understandable. Dabi wants to feel the pain of his quirk, as a reminder of who is or something.
If he got another quirk, his body could reject it and became 'noumu'. It's the Doomsday theory, bodies not being able to accomodate quirks - and Dabi's body can't clearly handle his own quirk so giving him another one proposes even greater risk. I have been thinking about this too...it would be so easy if they gave him some healing, right? Well, it isn't
If you think about it, Dabi was not only seen as a failure by his father, but he was called a failure by a man who was viewed as a savior by other villains. Essentially being rejected by both heroes and villains, making him a complete reject, which is tragic.
And a man that wanted to watch everything burn.
Gives his disregard for his own life an even deeper meaning
Let's not get carried away, Endevour reiterated to Dabi multiple times that he wasn't a failure. Dabi just convinced himself that he was because he couldn't reach what Endevour wanted him to. He wasn't reminiscing Snatch's words. Endeavor mentioned Snatch's death to Dabi, but Dabi didn't remember him. So he thought about it all day trying to remember who was Snatch, before having the blood tear.
He didn't care about his father becoming a better person, he wanted recognition. He was angry they moved on
@@jase276 kinda inherited mentality tho. Endeavor had a huge hateboner for Almight.
I don't think Dabi's gonna last long enough to see Endeavor again. He's a literal candle in the wind and the candle wax is just about used up.
@@white0thunderwhite0thunder71 Yea, that's why he changed his identity and appearance. 🤣
The part which hit me the most the part when the young Dabi said that his family might be waiting for him. That part hit me like a nuke to my heart.
@@nilo1178 It's more like the circumstances. When the world's in danger, throwing powerful good guys in jail is the last thing ya wanna do
Endeavor regrets his actions unlike Ozai though. lol
Yeah
That symbolism of him paying his respect to his old self is cold . I honestly respect Dabi a bit more even now after this chapter, he maybe was a bit obsessive but that was honestly just his love & loyalty to his father , He even knew he was nothing more than a pawn to his father at first & he still tried to find reason to believe him then just finally just couldn’t deal with it anymore , he came to terms for what he was . He’s now just a avenger
Sb : a army of super powerful children vs Ua would’ve definitely been a vibe .
Yeah Dabi is just completely broken at this point mind and body and he simply wants to burn
Sadly maybe deep down he wanted to die since the day he was brought back as dabi
Not just himself, he wants the world to burn with him.
@@InvestedGman Not just any death, Dabi wants a glorious death. For without glory his death would be as meaningless as his life...
No more family dinner I guess........
It would practically be like the hunger games, and I'm okay with that
Now that's an epic idea.
It was always going to be Shigaraki. But that idea is pretty interesting.
The world can change people just like how it changed Touya. Sometimes heroes are the real villains
True
Dabi is hands down my favorite character. He is so well written and his story is so well thought out and Horikoshi just keeps surprising me. I’m both very excited and very anxious to see how things go for him. Horikoshi absolutely deserves to take a break next week after this banger of a chapter. Dabi is absolutely a character he should be proud of.
Dabi 100% was my original favorite villian in the series and I’m so happy he’s getting his spotlight 😮💨
Same
Now he's a ticking flame bomb thingy
It really sucks that it looks like we’re gonna lose Dabi. I haven’t seen that many anime, but the impact this character has on MHA, it feels like losing Escanor from 7DS all over again.
AFO: bring me someone broken
Dabi: I ain't broken......I'm shattered!!!
AFO: oh fuuuuck!
This is why dabi is still one of my favorite characters with how complex he is.He wasn’t one to be able to be controlled by AFO and would have still wanted to be good if AFO hadn’t lead him to insanity but he was also broken .But the damage was done and now we see that he is now stronger than even endeavor with his flames being far stronger and his body still intact.I honestly always like this character from the very beginning since he appeared.
he didn't surpass Enedavor
@@GoldWristX Well yes he did...and Endeavor said it himself
(Which would also be bad due to growing but then it shouldn’t STILL be on him.)
Goes to show what happens when the grooming process for an AFO child starts late though.
Dabi gonna end up dead himself, Shoto don't need to do anything but hold out until then. lol
Same, the only way to really stopping him is for him to die, even if I really want to see a redemption, there's no way he can honestly get one
They don't make characters like Dabi. No more in other anime.. A character that you can't figure out until the big reveal.. I love it
Love Dabi, he’s really a paralleled to Jason Todd. If anyone noticed
Definitely we can see that in the last chapter he's exactly the same as him
I think dabi’s quirk is a set up for him to become some type of fire elemental being that doesn’t require a physical body, like a spirit flame or demon flame, it makes sense because endeavors quirk is called hell flame and this chapter made a lot of demon references, notice how dabi gets stronger as he burns more of his body away, it’s either a phoenix quirk or some type of flame deity
Garaki even called him a “thing” almost as if he’s not even a human, it seems like AFO and GARAKI are terrified of dabi and his quirk lowkey, the fact that AFO admits he can’t handle dabi’s quirk speak volumes on his actual power, there’s definitely more to his power than just super hot blue flames, he’s never had a quirk evolution throughout the series so this is his last chance to shine
Another note to add, dabi is not going to
Die fighting shoto so it’s obvious he’s going to transform because endeavor is not on the battlefield dabi is destined to fight his father, shoto is literally a warm up
I know at this point a lot of people are saying that Touya may not survive, but I still want to hope that he will.
6 and 9............ I'm not making it it's too easy.

demon general…….
Demon General? Cringe
....Dabi wasn't created to be the Demon King. AFO is the Demon King. Though idk why they're still using the Demon King analogy when that was Shiny boy who used it
All For One has a childhood trauma sensing quirk.
Overhaul, Tomura & Dabi. He missed grabbing Izuku by this much. 👌
Kai and Nine would have good in the LOV and add in Lady N you got a pretty good team of villains
Two be honest I highly doubt he would of be able to turn lzuku because he wish to be a hero his whole life he just doesn't have the personally to kill like Mostly every villain in the lov
@@tdog703 And then throw in No. 6 to boot!!
I knew Dabi would be a blooming villain as soon I saw his design
Dabi now seems like a literal candle, with a faint expression of life and color to his world but blue.. flames, and "failure". His fate is to die I guess, but man he is the best character in MHA for me.
If they had a bunch of High End Nomus that even Endeavor could barely defeat one of, then there'd be 0 reasons/excuses for allowing the heroes to win. Every UA student would've just died to them.
I love how Horishokis tripling down on the "making villains sort of sympathetic" thing
It would suck if dabi burns up now without endeavor being there or his family seeing him in person one last time
Unfortunately, rumors say the Shueisha is rushing Horikoshi to rush the ending and villain parts.
Yeah i would rather just see a fantastic death scene instead of a marvel no death kinda thing. 😐
@@white0thunderwhite0thunder71 idk endeavor isnt even there so if Dabi died in this fight then the whole endeavor toya fued would be invisible if i explained that right ha. So at some moment i think the family will have a moment where they beg him to stop and then will figure out his fate if he chooses to die.
it will be a poor writing if shoto manages to stop dabi here with the power of friendship. Plz don't use that cliche power plz don't ruin the story.

I agree, he is an amazing character and is really interesting.
I’m very concerned for shoto, that much heat! Dabi said he wanted to get ride of everything endeavour built, and going back to his original plan, means shoto! With that kind of heat built up, it could do some serious damage to shoto and the other hero’s around him like Ida!

And at the same time being an undying symbol of his father's failures, forever torturing him with the visage of the son he destroyed and being a ghost of his past unable to die and the more he destroys in general, the more of his father's legacy is destroyed and the more the idea of heroes goes along with it
But this is more of a fanfic/musing idea than anything serious
I liked dabi’s backstory but I never saw him as a major threat, dude was a one trick pony who just fire blasted whatever was in front of him, and if that didn’t work, an L was soon to follow (Aizawa, Vlad, Gran Torino, Giganto machia etc). I had hoped that he would’ve been Nomufied or Shigaraki gave him a second quirk to help with his weakness, but I guess we’ll see what comes from this fight
True but when he fought aizawa and vlad he was one of twices’ clone.
And look who’s being unfair now, Aizawa at this point is damn near a cripple, of course he’d lose like that, but if he was in the same shape as forest training camp, Dabi would be done in pretty easy
Every fight Dabi has been before this point he’s either had others backing him up, or caught his opponent off guard or weakened, and even then his win lose record is spotty. To me he’s gotten this far by luck and if he had encountered a real pro he’d be done. Case in point, he ran from Miruko when confronting Endeavor and Hawaii’s
Love the idea that he has a class full of villain's he trained that would of been epic.
I still wish we would get an actual name to his quirk (Cremation is what Dabi translates to, not the actual quirk’s name)
If he dies, it would pretty poetic that they show it kinda like:
(This would appear while his ashes show, due to literally burning till he cease to exist)
Villain: Touya *dead*
Quirk: cremation (ik it's not confirmed)
@@Martello_Brutto That actually sounds perfect
Dabi’s hair was red but due to him using his quirk it ended changing from red to white. That’s why his hair is red in that part of the anime, it wasn’t a mistake that was made it was intentionally made to be that way
Overhaul being one of these children would be mind blowing.
Giving him a slight resemblance to The Ghost Rider and the Spirit of Vengeance.

i WANNA see how shoto improve on his moves I wanna see him get creative against Dabi I always liked Dabis character and nice to hear his story some quotes really can hit deep
Shoto named his new move called Flashfire Heatfist
Given that All For One is currently facing off against Endeavor, I would like to see All For One engage in some psychological warfare, maybe try to trip him up by constantly bringing up his treatment of Dabi and his family.
Speaking of Dabi, there's no way I can see Dabi surviving by the end of the series. Not with the way he's recklessly abusing his Quirk.
10:10 dude class 1-A haven't even fought the best villains out there yet and they are boned down, this is going to be too much
Deku is the only one that takes out the most villains of all Class 1-A but Dynamight, Shoto, Uravity & Froppy will keep up with him cause they’re fighting against their opponents Tomura Shigaraki, Dabi & Himiko Toga with Twice’s Blood & as for Ingenium if Hero Killer: Stain is at Kamino he will fight him & Tsukuyomi will be with the Pro Heroes to take down Nomus (Near High-Ends) & the armies of Paranormal Liberation Front/League of Villains while Endeavor & Hawks fight against All For One & the rest of Class 1-A will fight the armies of Paranormal Liberation Front/League of Villains & Spinner I don’t know who will fight him my guess is either Red Riot & Pinky
@@Rjay0922 i'm kinda guessing Stain himself will be up against Spinner for being a wannabe
So it wasn't so much his body that was burning, but rather his skin. His original skin could not handle the heat of his quirk.
Dabi is starting to remind me more and more of Carnage.
Your school of villains thing gives me MASSIVE flashbacks to the Brotherhood of Mutants from DC lol

I honestly hate the hero’s, this whole anime im on the villains side here 💀
Just imagine if dabi hade a healing quirk this man would actually be a demon
I think those orphan kids all got turned into Noumu.
I noticed a connection between Dabi and Number 6 with the latest chapters of MHA and MHA Vigilantes… they both are set on their own self-destruction just to at least leave a mark on the world. Wonder if there’s more to it?
“Akatsuki from My Hero Academia!” Lol
9:52 that would be way too generic. Also, there's a chance for AfO having more than one batch of candidates in different locations
In an alternate timeline, Endeavor wasn't a complete piece of shit and Toya had a happy childhood thus becoming a hero with no equal.
That's a hopeful reality, but it's sad it won't be canon.
He would've been true #1 hero
How was he a piss of shit

10:41 I love that idea, too. Maybe all those potential AFO vessels didn't die? Though it might be too late to develop new villains.
The Villain Academia (ran by The league and MLF) versus The Hero Academia (ran by Nezu)
Yeah that'll be fire!
Touya being a human nomu is terrifying
That one line, something even the demon lord gave up on the fatal flames of insanity, that one line just give’s people mad chills
MHA should really show us the 1st fight of all might vs all for one😲😲😲.
Ain't happening. It's ending. lol
@@raec5426 maybe as an OVA but doubtful
@@wilfridekoue1405 Probably not. lol
Am I the only one who thought after the line "living corpse" thought Touya was like a Zombie/Nomu? Cause now after this I think I missed the ball
I hope that Shoto can save his brother. I don’t know how but I want to see the todoroki family whole again, and maybe even happy
4:22 touya's hair was red but began changing white, something endeavor asked him about
I was thinking the same thing as you, that a young villain army for the demon lord All For One Vs a young hero army for All Might/Deku... this could get the fanfiction writers thinking of ways like this.
This is pissing me off because likely this will mean the death of Dabi and I’m not ready for that he my favorite character
1:59 that’s weird dabi is immune to mustard‘s gas
Akatsuki from MHA had me laughing bro,you make great content
I'm curious as to why All for One didn't give Dabi a fire resistant quirk, now that I think about it, especially when he was getting reconstructed. I'm sure AFO would have had some quirk like that.
But perhaps Dabi didn't want it, which would be understandable. Dabi wants to feel the pain of his quirk, as a reminder of who is or something.
That proves dabi is written terribly...what was done to him? Expectactions? No abuse just reality of not being the next endeavor? Lol
@@bboywolf don’t say that. You’re ruining their trauma fantasy.
Well, it isn't
this man is the best character in mha poor guy
Think of how tomura would be angry to find out he had replacements made.
