Anchovies on good bread toasted is one of my favorite breakfasts. 😋

Delicious the way Massimo is dinh that and also a sauce made with butter , olive oil garlic, parsely and of course, the ancho. Pour this sauce over roasted peppers, i prefer red. Filled it, make sure you dty any liquid , and remove all seeds. Pour this sauce over it. Delicious!!! Its am appetizer.

P.d.: the receipt of the cantabrian anchovies are the same of the Sicilian anchovies, the only original change was the oil instead butter. There were a lot of Sicilian migration in Cantabria and País Vasco
We used to do that in Greek Town in Detroit in the 70.s. They came in barrels in salt in a shop and with warm bread, warm butter and Greek cheese is a great picknick . . . oh and don't forget the Retsina
