I'm a banshee guys so I always want to see banshee stuff of course but I watch w.e. u guys put out. One of u guys should do a true and weld vid for cranks, I heard one of u say u did it to yours but I forgot who lol id like to be able to do that too all the banshees I build. 700 vs 686. 421 vs 309r. 421 vs 472!!! I have one stock bore cp piston 12.1 compression, pc5, hot cam stg 1,K&N filter just easy built and it make 54hp

We suspect the 700 has some other mods that we didn't know about; we could see the cylinder had been replaced but never opened it up to see.
All raptor 700s are fuel injected

Anything can be built. My raptor is 06 I did plus 3mm intake valve and plus 2mm exhaust valves stage 3 cam plus 5mm stroker crank 105.5mm piston and cylinder with EFI controller freed up the exhaust system and air intake, plus a few other things. At 75mph in 4th gear I can pull it up, then shift in 5th and it's stupid. Always fun riding, started on a atc 90 Honda 😉

The banshee is losing on the drag race because the banshee is tire spinning as they always do and harder to control.wheel spin, grip, wheel spin, grip. Recipe for uncontrollable. It causes the quad to become all over the place.
Thats why big bore mean 4-strokes are better all around! Same reason Pro MX went to 4-strokes..& emissions.

First off that Raptor is NOT stock. Im going to bet once they pull that engine apart and inspect it has a high comp piston, port, cam at the least. Like Sabo said the head is not the same color as the cylinder, its been apart. Plus the ECU tune, exhaust and after market air filter. Lets not fool our selves here. So with that being most likely the case id say the 250R and the banshee did very well. John, I know you know whats in that quad! Ataboy! ;)

There is such things as "Factory Freaks". I don't know the difference but I remember I bought a new Z400, it had a full exhaust and jet kit to my knowledge. My friend bought 1 right after me and did the same mods, every race I would pull away from him. Same weight, dig or roll I pulled away Everytime, we could never figure why other then just better running from factory.
I had the same thing but with my 92 warrior. Never put an exhaust or anything on it and it would woop modded ones in races. Like it wasn't even close.

Build a on demand 4x4 raptor 660r or 700, you will take everyone by storm and you could sell the parts at a premium. I'm very interested in doing this by using parts from a Polaris scrambler 500 ho with on demand 4x4. They have very similar hp and top speeds. It would make one of the most sick raptors out there being able to use 4x4 when you need it.

Amd if you have a lockout get them to 12 oz of weight with the bolts and do 3 heavy springs and three factory springs

They are a nice atv.handle well.and nimble but will be cramped on a taller rider.but an all time classic

The experience between these two bikes could not be more different. Raptor is smooth, even power, lots of torque while the Banshee feels like it's totally out of control trying to kill you. I wish they still made them (and the zilla).
That’s interesting with the raptor 700 because my Yamaha warrior motor was rebuilt by the previous owner and my warrior makes more power compared to my brothers warrior and my previous warrior
You should put that Banshee motor into the Raptor, then you will have the perfect machine.
Maybe try and bleed that clutch slave cylinder. It might help
I would love to make my banshee a 421. I bought it brand new back in 2002. done a little bit of work to it
Cannot beat a Raptor 700R..all around! Even if an "ole tech" banshee were to pull it in a straight line. A few mods on ANY good runnin Raptor 700R will make it smoke most any quad (or UTV junk).
I like this comment about a year ago when I had a built Raptor 700R stroked with the big 3 now I own three banshee for reason

A raptor 700 has absolutely zero chance against a 421 unless the factors of physics allow. Like traction and rider. Put them both on pavement with skilled riders and the raptor has no chance. The cub probably makes twice the horsepower is a quick revving two stroke. Those 421 kits will run with turbo Busa's in 1/8th mile on asphalt, believe it. In dirt like that you should be able to launch it from 3rd gear. The 700 motor isn't even stressed for power output, a stock 450 will give them fits. I'm pretty sure the 421 kits make over 100 HP, good luck getting there with big, single cylinder 4 strokes.
A 421 on pump gas and no race porting like mikes makes around 75-80 horse, with race gas more timing and a good port they will make 100 horse. Hellcat channel banshee is a great example at 98 horse like this 👊

Damn Banshee is faster it’s just so damn hard to launch. I was racing a guy on TRX300 and I was on a Suzuki 500 Quadzilla, couldn’t beat him, all wheels spin.

For the raptor to be relatively stock and the banshee being heavily modified! And for the both of them to run side by side down the lane let alone both beating each other back to back regarding the reasons why. And with the raptor running on basically a empty tank of fuel. I would say the raptor is faster. Just saying that's my opinion. I'm not hating the banshee the banshee is insane. If you get a DM 611 cheetah kit for the banshee then do some port and polish. I have seen banshee's with that setup run over 150+HP and do a quarter mile run in under 10 seconds at over a 100mph easily!
That Raptor is NOT stock in any way shape or form. It has a port, cam, and HC piston to be that fast. Come on guys lol a stock Raptor makes 47hp! this Raptor has Much more than that. John, time to pup the valve cover off and bore scope the cylinder and intake! Your the man Jonny.

just bought my wife her first quad, it's a 2006 suzuki eiger 400 4x4. needs some minor work, got it for 1900$ it's a basic bitch lol but I think I got it for an ok deal, and will b a good quad to learn on. it's havin some fuel issues, dosnt wanna run with out the choke. got that last night
That is one of the most reliable quads i have ever owned. It lasts a whole day of riding with 1 tank.
Pull the carb and clean it. When you set the idle air screw turn it out 3 turns. Those quads are cold blooded and a little richer mixture helps out a lot.

The Banshee is a bad machine. Then when you build it it just develops a attitude. Power per weight ratio is totally incredible. Now on a straight away I'm not really into that. But you put that Banshee on a cross country track it is a extremely hard machine to beat. The thing with two stroke motors are keeping it in the high RPM's. A good rider with a built Banshee is hard to beat.
