Nice trip! I did Buffalo to Rochester and back but definitely want to do more next Summer.

I have watched several other videos on this section of the trail. Yours was shot very well and I really liked how you let the viewer know what town you were in as you passed through. Thanks for the video. You should do a more comprehensive video of this ride.

Hey thanks man! Glad my videos help to motivate you! I am still around, just been busy dealing with these crazy times but I'm always around and am hoping to get back to making videos soon, hopefully this summer! But I am always around, just busy making my way in this crazy world.

Hey, great video. Getting ready to do this trip next week. How was the signage? Did you use a map? Gpx? any tips? Thanks!!

Thank you so much! The signage is ok, definitely could use more in some spots. I recommend using a GPS,I use the one installed right on my phone! Also the terrain of the trail varies from wide, smooth pavement in some places to rocky double and singletrack, so be ready fo do some gravel grinding. Most of the trail is finely crushed limestone, mimicking the original towpaths that the trail is laid on top of. You'll see some amazing sights along your way, plenty of history as well! And let me know if you need someone to ride with you through Syracuse, as there is a sixteen mile gap through the Syracuse area; it can be tricky, especially if you are trying to follow the exact route of the original canal. Godspeed on your journey brother, message me if you need to know anything about riding the trail!
