I have been playing this game for over a year. I had no idea that when you craft a Gatling laser, you would get more fusion cores. thanks for the tip!

I just go to Poseidon power plant and hook up a fusion generator to fusion core generator
I just started 2 weeks ago. A level 466 attacked me in my first hour. After I raged at him, he spent the next 4 hours making me stuff, built me a camp and nuclear power generator and brought me into his group. Ended up level 11 by the end. Now I'm off to a great start and taking my time. Also got Fallout First, which is great.
This was a wholesome comment until the poster was fooled into buying Fallout 1st
Just got this game yesterday and have been feeling overwhelmed at the scope of everything I'd have to learn to keep track of, but this video has helped me feel better about playing. Thank you!
Something that I figured out not that long ago: when the daily Season Calendar had quests like "Scrap 10 Items for Asbestos" you can simply go to your ammo workbench, craft some bulk asbestos and then scrap it to complete. If the quest is for an item that you can't craft in bulk (like gold) many times the vendorbot at Whitesprings in the crafter's shop sells them in bulk.
Taking it at your own pace is the truth. I was bombarded with quests and had no idea how to even turn them on or off at the time. But I just wanted to explore and see what everything looked like and play with building camps so I did that. Now I have a better understanding of how to pick and chose what quest I want to do. Still a noob tho at level 50. Lol
I’m over lvl 300 and I try to give stuff away constantly. Always happy to help other players!!!
That's what I so love about the FO community! A very kind and helping community! I got free stuff when I was a fresh char up to lvl 100, so I started giving away free stuff to lower level players as soon as I could afford it.
@@TGehle I actually farm stimpacks and drop about 200 diluted packs at a time so people can play the game without worrying about healing. I always hated trying to find them. That and Radaway.

I just started playing again after 2 years and I love how you pointed out how high level players help starting players! That's basically all I do anymore because I enjoy watching people experience the game for the first time
A lot of these are honestly awesome tips, like the sulfur fountain! I can see that being great for new and old players who don't have the symptomatic in their camps or disease cures yet. :D Wonderful videos as always, T0nik!
Moving the C.A.M.P. device to change the spawn location was extremely helpful!
That was an amazing tip. I kept spawning in a river by my camp. I moved it and now I spawn in my shed. Got to move it again but at least I don't get rads
Another note on the C.A.M.P. spawn locations, you will almost always spawn north of the C.A.M.P. module.
If you wanna craft the laser gats for fusion cores, also equip the perk that sometimes gives you 2x crafted items.

If you use a lot of intelligence boosting items, like cranberry relish or steeped aster tea, the Herbivore mutation not only doubles their duration, it doubles their effectiveness, so if it would normally add +2 Intel with Herbivore it makes it +4.

I started a VATS crit build like a week ago and I had no idea that you had to manually input your crits. Reading is hard I guess thanks alot sir you just rocked my world

Nice vid! a couple of things I didn't know, so thank you. With power armor parts I always keep 'Portable Power' perk card handy as it reduces the parts and chassis weight up to 75%

Thank you, this is full of great hints. I have found people playing fallout 76 are some of the most helpful of the online community. Some (almost) even feel insulted if you don't accept gifts/help. Remember you can always sell/vendor your excess loot, and knowing the best place for each type helps a load. For example stimpacs can be sold out of your base or just to the vendor at the train station( I prefer to train station, much quicker) also you can sell special/legendary items at the train station legend vendor for special currency that is used to 'upgrade' items. Ask someone and I'm sure most people will be more than happy to help.

I would also recommend to buy the additional camp slots when they are on discount, if you play the game alot. Not only gives you extra building ideas but you can strategically place it around the map to have free fast travel all the time

Great tip for beginners, and well veterans too, if someone didnt know some of them.
i would like to add that after Pitt update there is 3 more Fast travel locations that are free now, these are:
1. The Rusty Pick
2. The Whitespring Refuge
3. The Whitespring North Entrance
2 and 3 are really close to each other, but the "North Entrance" one is new location which is for "normal" mall in whitesprings.
There (in North Entrance location) is plenty of robot vendors and Legendary scrip machine, Gold bullion machine (i think its only location where you have both next to each other, so far that is) and workbenches, stash box, scrap box, so its really great location :)
Fort atlas is free too

Grilled Radstag! Best tip in this video. I've been a carnivore for a couple years for this exact reason. Ribeye (grilled brahmin) gives the same carry weight bonus but with a bit less HP.
No more breaking my legs whenever I fast travel to my camp with a great view

This was one of the best tips video I’ve seen. I knew somethings but there were enough that I learned a lot and actually watched the whole thing. So many videos just recycle the same basic stuff
Great tips, never knew the first one. The last one is definitely useful for any newer player. When I started I'd always avoid high level players. I see alot of lower levers run when I try to drop items for them.
About 17 of the 20 I knew about but I'm glad someone has a video out to help those who don't know or just being to play I myself have been playing since season 5

ive lost count of the amount of times ive been helped in FO76, couple weeks ago i spent best part of 2 days hopping servers trying to find any pepper shaker i could find, and i asked some guy i seen with the plan in the vendor if he knew the plan. Which he confirmed he did, i asked if he would make me one basic as they come throw it in vendor and i will happily buy it i have 5k caps ill give you it all. Homeslice dropped me a fully modded 3 star quad pepper shaker, and guess what he wanted in return, my nuka cola if i had any XD but wasnt needed i was over the moon. I also have gotten into the habit now of dropping stuff everytime i see a new player, especially with the cute mismatched armour pieces and his mighty pipe pistol. I jumped off a room the other day in my red rocket power armour like a G and dropped like 100s of spare meds that was waying me down and bunch of script items etc, homeboi took it all and i watched him wobble away XD it felt so good knowing he is loaded up n happy lil new player annnnd i have a free inventory again and i can run yay

My favorite for getting over burdened, I carry an excavator PA. Put that on and you instantly get 100 extra carry weight and only takes 10 lbs.
Make sure you check out the Excavator mods. Calibrated shocks, one for each leg adds another 100 carryweight. Plans are 3000 caps but your bargain perk maxed out and high charisma can lower that a few hundred caps.

@@vass0922 I'm at 406 carryweight with maxed SS under armor and Covert scout armor w/o unyielding, but have perks for 90% reduction in armor, food, ammo, energy ammo and drugs. If I put PA armor on and +50 carryweight with some strength perks, I'm close to 600. That's with 4 energy weapons if you count flamer, a Fixer, 2 handmade rifles and 3 styles of bow. This character is a level 430 and my perks aren't optimized. I do play on PC not console.
Gatling lasers give you fusion cores!? over 3 years in game and didnt know this.

Ribeye steaks from Brahman are a better carry weight booster as they weigh 1 vs 1.5 for the radstag

North East for the camp module spawn thingy. It puts you about 20-60 feet roughly North East of the camp module.
It took me 4 years to find out the SPACE bar thing for VATS. No more jumping around anymore ... lol

Player Vendors are a godsend, i found a dude who was sellig a total of 1600+ plans, most selling for between 25-200 caps. Obviously rarer plans where more but god damn. Whoever you are you are a godsend
Better carry weight boost is "RadAnt Lager" Learn it from Biv and with "party Boy" and "Carnivore" the beer grants +50 carry weight for 10-15 mins.
You can stack that with Mystery Meat pie or regular grilled ragstag and "carry weight booster" for up to +140.
I am going to be trying the game using it being free this month on PlayStation and I can judge if I will like it and enjoy the game this will most definitely be useful.
7:00 Rusty Pick and Whitesprings are free fast travel locations too.. so are most Events that pop up in your legend.
I’m new to FO76 and I was just watching the end of this video and the heads of your enemies were green with what I assume is the percent of life left in your enemy is that in settings!?!? I love that! How can I get that???

Great video. I have only recently seen your page. Just a note. The holding crit button actually doesn’t work that way. You cant just hold it. Everything goes to show it does but the damage doesn’t actually apply.

I will say I been loving this game. Hard as hell starting. The the community is great, had a kid try and trap me for some screws but he was mostly joking and just let me go. Other than that kid people drop me good stuff but not overwhelming just a good start can’t wait to do the same been collecting a few schematic to give that are dups.

To quickly claim a power armor set that is in a power armor crafting station (e.g. shed W of Mama Dulce’s or outside shed at Blackwater mine), enter the crafting station, then immediately leave. Then just grab the PA as you would normally pick up your own (Y on Xbox)
The Fallout Community is the antitheses of toxic games. I was given a full set of beefed up, low level legendaries on my first session by a complete stranger.
All they wanted was my word I would pay it forward.

My last game was in december 2018 when it was nothing but wasteland with no npcs ect. So did they add any chat option to comunicate with other players on the map or still talk via mike.
Fried Radtoad Legs, Smoked Mirelurk fillets both give excellent carry weight boosts, even better if you have carnivore.
When im playing on Xbox sometimes i get help from high lvl players.. its very nice
