Need to go on the Monsal trail, last I did it a couple of years after it first opened, some of the tunnels were unsafe, think they never opened until around 2011 or 12,

Yeah it did seem to have that affect haha Less singing in next one, I was just so pleased to be riding with others again... a taste of normality.

I did the 100km on the same day out of Werrington! My first official Audax UK ride, chose the shorter one to get to grips with things. We forked off from the 200km route at Marston Montgomery. Turned up late, all riders had gone. Oops!

Always get the two mixed up ;-)
You were probably shivering at the end partly because you've got wet from not having mudguards on your bike and riding over wet roads most of the day. Don't be too proud to not fit fenders in future.
