Some tips for staying warm in the winter: Stay out of the hills and don’t do efforts, keep your core warm, tape up all the vents in your shoes, Mylar blanket wrapped around your feet, latex dipped builders gloves under your cycling gloves, personally I don’t like a cafe stop in winter as i never get warm again
If you haven’t purchased tires for your new Hunt wheels, would highly recommend you grab a set of Conti GP5000 (tube or tubeless, your choice) but they are nearly as fast a pure race tires but have very good puncture protection. Last year I rode over 5000km with no punctures, this year more and not punctures but did slash my sidewall (no tire was going to survive it, so I don’t really count it).
You will love the Kickr bike. I got mine at the end of 2021. Being able to just jump on and ride is great. Plus, the elevation simulation is pretty cool! 👍
Good video. Don't know if it was just for the filming but you could have ridden it more as a 2 up TT and shaved a bit off the time. Apologies if you did. Enjoying the content. 👏
Im not a begginer cyclist but i 100% a beginner to anything distance related as I tend to do short distance TTing and my first 100km run I averaged 28kph, while this was a slight blow to the ego it just shows how significantly different distance vs speed is in cycling.
cheers mate. the Komoot app is your best friend when it comes to routes. Can put in your local area (or where you want to cycle) and it gives you a range of rides you can download the GPX for onto your Computer.

You may have mentioned this elsewhere but curious what your camera and audio setup is for these videos?
Your friend did the whole ride in bare arms and hands? What a spartan!
Nice video, what do you use to record content?
Great video mate!
Wattbike watching 👌👌 hows the kicker?
Also what is the tune at 2:30

When do you recon you'll start swimming and do a triathlon? :D
not anytime soon 🤣
4 hour if the elevations normal, but if road is like in the video probably 3 hour is super possible with 2 time stop very easy ride to. empty road.
Didn’t think you were ever gonna take the helmet off at the end
got to be at one with your equipment. Literally drove 40 minutes home with it on
yes g c'mon

Is that gilet even insulated? You look way under dressed for the current UK temperatures.
Yeh it’s insulated. Body was fine, just extremities and face that were a problem
