Another thing to add, make sure you have water coming out of the tell tale (if applicable )and the intake is clear (if applicable) this ensures the engine is being cooled, if not turn the engine off as it will overheat quickly.
It's been going a little slow. I have a few videos that are in the editing process. With school starting and my budget being a little low, I'll try my best to get those videos and more out to you guys. Thanks for being patient.
I'm new to this I'm about to buy my first boat in a couple of days and I'm excited to learn I'm getting a sea hunt I am worried about it though not going to lie
So you have suggestions for passing other boaters and their wakes? How could you make it a smoother pass without crashing the waves so hard. Is there a position to put the boat in to help it take the wake waves better? I hope this makes sense. TIA
Hi ,I have one problem ,I have a 8.5 m wooden boat 7.5 T inner engine, this is my first time with a boat ,i try to give it a go yesterday after 4 years working on it ,I took it from the mooring ,try to give it a go and it only go left ,so I was going around, and around , why is dooing this ,haw can I fix it ,
Ilove boats&i'm about to start boating with my brother&i'm gonna be the boat keeper wen we go out for lobsters conch & fish..so i MUST LEARN IT ALL THAT I MUST KNO...
Yes, there are no brakes on a boat. You just have to go very slow and take your time. Use the momentum of the boat to help guide you into a slip. I would suggest looking up a TH-cam video if you're still confused.
Well while you're operating the boat, you can simply use the throttle to add or reduce power. If you mean overall engine power, then you would have to tinker with the engine mechanics itself (which I have no experience in)
Do you need some type of boat license ? & do you think if you’re a first time boater that you can drive it with you and some friends for the first time alone as long as you watch these kind of videos ? It’s a small yacht we were tryna steer . Btw good job I understood well 🥰
Sorry for the late response. I would highly recommend getting a boating license. Also, if you've never operated a boat before, I'd do you research and while on the actual boat, get comfortable with everything. And I mean everything. Understand how to turn at slow and fast speeds, practice docking, and understand the basic rules of boating around others. Hope your boating adventure went well!
@@ImALittleDog99210 It’s all about preference. Personally, I can operate the boat and see better while standing. I would recommend standing though as you can better see your surroundings.
The Australian army taught me "is there any port left " since it tells you which side port is and port is red as are your port navigation markers
I feel like the channel markers change a lot though depending on where we are!
Aren't brothers great? Nice, quick lesson on boat operation. Thank you Jack. Have a good weekend young sir.
Thank you! My brother has been a big help towards this channel.
Good job, first time baiter here, I liked the quick and effective video!
Good job. One important bit of information you missed… you have no steering unless you’re under power. Keep the videos coming. Aloha.
Thanks! I also forgot to mention that there is no break, only reverse.

How is your yacht build going? When are you going to update us on how it is progressing?

Great lesson. You got straight to the point. I love it.
Bought my 3rd boat. Always good to have a small refresher before going out.

Thank you for all the info, getting my first boat soon
That's awesome! What type of boat are you getting?
Great , cool , hope to see a lot of your videos guys
Thank you! More are on their way

Thanks for your comment. In about a month, I’ll make another “How to” boating video that dives into the questions that you have.
Great video and funny at the end 😂😂 felt very home video esq
Thank you!
How about if it took ten days to get to your location when it’s night who drives

jack when there's a crowded river or sea, do we drive the boat to the right as in car rules or we can travel through middle too?
You helped me out a lot im still suing

thanks. Im never knew any of that - seriously never drove a boat
How do you park with other boats around without hitting anything no brakes right

Great video thank you and ur assistant 😊
How can one add or reduce the speed of this boat

Great teacher bro👊🏾🙂
Great video thanks for the info
Thanks for the comment!
Good luck 🤞
Pls I wan to learn more of berthing the boat and control it .I love channe
Wear the killcord whether alone or with people
Absolutely. When alone, I mostly attach it to my pocket.
when you turn the key, make a stop midway before you fully turn. It urts my eyes seeing you turn directly
Sorry bro, just doing things the way I was taught by my parents. Will definitely stop midway now, don't want to cause any damage to anything.
Can a person drive the boat on the first try and go out on his own?
Yes thats the norm. Expect to be stranded though.
Love the content!
Thank you!

Why are you standing while driving isnt it easier when you sit?

@@JackWood25 alright, but what about stability? Aren’t you less stable when standing?
❤❤❤great video

No problem!
In Arkansas I need one cause I’m getting a house by the river
That's awesome! What type of boat are you planning on getting?
What kind of boat is this!!
I don’t know the specific model but she is a Boston Whaler
Generically know as
‘Centre Console’open
IE
Controlled from ‘amidships’
With no Roof!

Thank you!

She is an old Boston Whaler. I'm not too sure its exact model.
Hey Jack
Hello!
How to drive a boat when you're a rich kid😂
Mark... Lol..... Give him his clout!
🎉
❤
this never helped me im suing
What??
i still can’t drive a boat
@@randomtransitadventures weird
😂
Trying video? Without a life vest?
Yes. After over 11 years of boating experience, I feel quite comfortable. Plus I can swim.
Informations unclear, I stabbed the engine trying to kill it and now I’m in the middle of the ocean.
Transom and stern are not synonymous. Just saying.
A boat is steered not driven!
