    Yes! Grow bags are perfect for a
    Growing herbs if you have limited space, or you can move them indoors during the summer.

    Blessings to you. I’m building a garden from scratch in Virginia…moving from Missouri…in 2 weeks. I will be using containers for the most part as well. I have one raised bed but the rest will be containers since I am renting. I look forward to following your progress. I grew potatoes in containers last summer and it was awesome!!!

      Awesome! Best wishes for a smooth move and transition. Next week is moving week for us so it’s crunch time. 🤞 The versatility of containers is so amazing. I’m so glad to hear your potatoes did well last summer! I can’t wait to plant my potato grow bags next spring. 😁

    Yes! Just what I need!😂 I gave up on the big garden since the fence broke and the deer ate most of it and the weeds took over! I think I'll container garden till autumn. Maybe sometime you could do a chatty weed pulling vlog!😂 I could definitely use it! We could all weed together!

      Yeah that’s a lot to handle all at once! Containers would get you growing again faster and you’d feel empowered moving them away from the deer if they try to mess w/ them. 💪🤣 That would be so fun to do a weeding hangout! I’d be doing a lot of editing because Bermuda grass makes me swear. 🤬🤬🤣

    They are an answered prayer! My yard turns into a lake when it rains hard so this is my only option. I'm not an unexperienced gardener but have learned much from you, THANK YOU. Hope things are going well Cort. Been there

      Thanks, finally getting settled. Still a long road ahead but taking it step by step is progress. Thanks for your moral support! 💚💪 And it finally rained after moving in, and there’s a big area that had standing water. Continuing to be grateful for raised beds and grow bags! lol

    I have my tomatoes, peppers and lettuce in containers, I used a mixture of grow bags and 5-10 gallon pots. But I had a limited budget so am saving for bigger grow bags and organic soil for next spring!

    What drip irrigation system do you use?

    • @CortneyGrowsFood
      @CortneyGrowsFood  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The one I have in my grow bags is the RainPoint solar irrigation system. I love their timers!

    •  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@CortneyGrowsFoodI just purchased the solar one using your link! So cool! 😊

    First-time grower here, love the video format: informative, thorough and to the point in a concise amount of time. I'm container only and this video preaches to the choir. So many things I'd say are a match which is always a comfort to watch when you're new at something. In my brief experience, I'm really glad I made grow tables. I don't know if it's my area in West NC, but I haven't had many pest problems at all (knock on PT lumber), just those Japanese beetles which finally died off. If I could only grow one vegetable in containers, it'd be potatoes for sure. Thanks for posting!

      Thank you!! Your grow tables sound awesome. I’m sure your container/grow table combo is helping with pests. I can’t wait to grow potatoes in grow bags next year! Thanks for watching, and for sharing your experiences here.

      @@CortneyGrowsFood You bet. Potatoes seem to be one thing I regret not making enough of. The grow tables are great for ease too. I think I also have to credit the Mason Wasp with eating a lot of caterpillars. I just saw a horned worm for the first time, but it is mid-July. Much to learn. Best wishes!
