How well does that amp keep up volume wise with other 210 combos such as the Fender Rumble 500 210 and the Ampeg 210.

This amp is loud and would have no problem keeping up!

As we bassists all know, our preferred tone is the result of numerous factors. I had narrowed my bass combo search down to an Ampeg RB-210 and the Katana 210. I ordered both of them and tested them side-by-side with my two favorite passive basses at GC (my Fender American Standard Jazz and Yamaha BB1000s) to see which one would work best for my needs. Before they arrived, I was pretty sure I was going to choose the Ampeg because I had previously tried the small Ampeg Rocket RB-110 and really liked it. When they arrived and I tested them out at the store, the Ampeg's familiar sound was nice and easy to dial in with both basses. The Katana's numerous settings took some time to navigate but, in the end, I dialed in a setting that sounded awesome with both basses. To me, one simple and important factor is having separate control of the low mids and high mids. The Katana provided that, but the Ampeg didn't. I brought the Katana home and got a refund for the Ampeg. I feel that you can't go terribly wrong with either combo, and I hope you all achieve the tone you're looking for. :)

"Wow, this Boss Katana bass amp sounds amazing! I've been looking for a versatile and affordable amp that can handle different genres and playing styles, and this one seems to deliver. The built-in effects and amp models are a great bonus, allowing me to experiment with different sounds without having to buy extra pedals or amps. The 10-inch speaker may not be the biggest out there, but it still produces a punchy and clear tone, which is perfect for practicing or small gigs. I also appreciate the intuitive interface and the ability to connect to my computer via USB for further tweaking and recording. Overall, I think the Boss Katana bass amp is a fantastic choice for any bass player who wants a solid and flexible amp without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!"

I owned the Boss Katana 210. It wasn't for me. It all seemed good in theory Class A/B w 60 wrms & custom designed super efficient 2 10 inch + tweeter. Don't sound like much? If your speakers run @ near 99 dB efficiency trust me its PLENTY! Bundled & expandable & customisable effects suite with nearly all you could want or use.
I'm an old school kind of guy. Bundled effects that sound to my ears less good than analog. Like BIGTIME Along with the menu that I loathed scrolling through to access them became dreary. The final nail in the coffin. Was the extension speaker plug disconnected the 2 in cab 10's & tweeter. They have the outrage to call that $#!t an EXTENSION? WTF? The combo is loud enough to handle a 300 + or so audience venue arena. But to BS in such an overt and cynical way infuriated me. It had great points. The amp/ speaker combo was good in a neutral all rounder kind of way. Problem is I found out I think neutral is BORING! I'm a filthy dirty sleazy rock PIG. When it comes to funk. I only like.it if it smells like FUNK.
In other words attitude & character.
The Boss lasted less than a couple of weeks. But Billy Hyde music were champs & let me change it over to an Ampeg rocket 115. That also had issues for me. But they were issues I could fix. It also had an extension speaker plug done right. The 115 has 100 wrms on tap. Plug in an extension 200 wms is now on tap. I now run an Eden 210 that the rocket sits on. Modded and extended. This rig now with real outboard pedals makes mongo happy.

@@mattacostaguitar4048 I replied but for some stupid reason youtube deleted my reply. Small gigs pubs etc. The 210 is plenty loud enough 👍 The 2, 10 inch bass drivers are very efficient.
