But by the same token, leftie city dwellers have a difficult time understanding that some things like owning guns is perfectly reasonable when your nearest neighbor might live a quarter mile away. Ironically though, I feel there's less NEED for a gun in that case.
I guess my point is that a lot of issues aren't really left vs. right. They only get associated with Left and Right because of how the issue affects rural people differently than city dwellers. Like if you live in a densly packed place, you really don't want even responsible gun owners carrying guns if only because accidents are far more likely to be deadly. .

Those are people that are repeating what trump said live on TV. He said that when mexico sends its people, most of them are rapists, drug dealers, and only some are good people.
He built his campaign on lies. The big question, “who’s paying for the wall?” Wasn’t it supposed to be Mexico? Didn’t he shutdown the government as temper tantrum for not receiving his funds for the wall? Tax payers paid for the wall, as well as money taken from Military Funds.
Trump played all of his supporters as fools. Now their pride is not letting them see the damage he did. His supporters lack mental capacity and common sense. They ignore statistics and science. Just like he said, they would vote for him even if he shot a man on fifth avenue... without losing a single supporter.

I know at least a dozen people who are racist only about 2or3 of them are white.
The BBC published exit polls after the election. The majority of white people voted for Trump (about 60%). The VAST majority of black people voted for Biden (more than 90%). Yeah, you'll find white people who voted for Biden, and people of colour who voted for Trump, but they're the exceptions to the rule.
Although it's worth noting that Trump has a lot of support from Cuban Americans, many of whom live in Florida (and who were credited with swinging that state in favour of Trump this election).
Here's what happened. Trump supporters have been gratuitously throwing the word 'Socialism' around to describe Democrats (which I, a person from England, find hilarious - the Democrats are very right wing compared to our politicians). Because Cuban Americans have fled a totalitarian Socialist regime, they've absorbed this Trump propoganda and have been persuaded that a vote for a Democrat is a vote for authoritarianism. So instead of voting for the party that would support them and other immigrants like them, they supported Trump, a guy who locked immigrant children in cages and who has often retweeted white supremacists (including a video of someone chanting "white power" - it was brought up in the second Presidential debate and he didn't deny it).
Just goes to show the power that misinformation and propoganda can have on people. It can make them vote for the guy who is actively and openly trying to oppress them.
