  • We want to show you a fabulous way of binding your quilts using just the backing fabric! It’s fast, easy, and still looks just as good as if you did it with binding strips🙌🙌 This is a wonderful way of simplifying your binding without sacrificing a professionally finished look!

This is an amazing video! I used this to show my granddaughter (who is only 7!), and her 3x3 quilt turned out beautifully🤗

I just finished my first quilt for my first great grandchild. After watching so many videos and getting so overwhelmed, your video eased my anxiety about finishing it well. Well, it turned out beautiful!

Binding is the aspect of quilt making I find the hardest and least enjoyable. Thank you for what looks like a MUCH better method than struggling with binding strips.

Thanks! As a self-taught quilter, this is how I have been binding my quilts since I started quilting about 15 years ago. I never thought about using glue to hold down the fabric, though!

WOW! i was looking for binding videos but this is a game changer. i quilt in a tiny tiny space so i do all my quilts in a variation of qayg where i sew my blocks into floppy columns averaging about 2-2 1/2 feet wide, then add batting and backing and quilt each column, and sew them together at the end.
which i love, but adding the borders have always been a pain, and binding is tedious. so a light bulb went off for me watching this method of binding! if i add my border to my floppy, leave the backing super wide around the perimeter of the sections of quilted columns, and leave my batting a little less than half the extra width of my backing, and proceed as in this video, i'll end up with a nice big border slash binding- ALL IN ONE FELL SWOOP!

LOL. I did this for YEARS before I knew it was a thing. I was brand new to quilting and didn't understand how to cut fabric on the bias for binding strips. So I "cheated" by doing this instead 😂
