Jeow Mak Len Recipe | Spicy Lao Tomato Dip | Lao Food at Saeng’s Kitchen

  • Here is my jeow mak len recipe. Jeow means dip and mak len means tomato. I eat this dip all year long, but I thought it looked perfect for the holidays as it is red and green. Jeow mak len goes so well with steaming hot sticky rice. This dip is truly unique because of the funky padaek. What other Lao dips do you enjoy?

I enjoy the fact that you don't skimp out on the MSG in our food! A lot of "Lao/Thai" chefs always leave the MSG out. The MSG is what makes a lot of our dishes authentic. Another great video! Keep them coming 😁🌶🍚

Yeah, the chefs leave it out because ist is not the healthiest.

It looks so good...thanks! Will try this once I have a chance to get an air fryer. Can I not use padaek? I can't eat it cause allergic to it. Can I just used only fish sauce. If I have to use Padaek can I used something else to replace it?

In Laos, theres no cherry tomatoes. So this isn’t authentic. Hipsters always fucking up the traditional dish. Btw, u forgot to add sugar and dash of lime. It helps cut through the harsh salty flavor.
I like to see you make jeow bong next.
