I saw a vid where the title said something like authenticity isn't everything. True that when my own bubble only has but so much access to wever ingredients. Gotta improvise, here. I've been laaping everything too. but it's way bigger chunks bc "ain't nobody got time for all of that " lol at my grounded rice too ... Some of it's just grains that r just split in 2 & it's like wever, I tried. When I was younger, I didn't think I'd end up having so much more of a preference for my own... Food but I do. It's really just the same tastes through our time, really. Bc outside all this, I really just fav plain basic spaghetti. Maybe sloppy joes every now & then. But I really got my infant loving rice. So much, she likes to wear it too. It's also always a plus enjoying my own while saving $. Also thx for the recipe
Oooh!!! Cannot wait to try this recipe!!! You're amazing!!! You're definitely my new favorite TH-camr! Thank you for not leaving important ingredients & details out!❤Love the Hawaiian spoon. I used to make sticky rice nigiri too.😂
Hi there! How do you clean your cheese cloth that you use to steam the rice? I always have rice pieces stuck on there and hard to wash off as it gets sticky to it.
Thank you for watching. I soak the cheesecloth in a bowl of water for a few hours. By then the grains of rice soften and are easy to either shake off or scrub off. Thank you.
Oh yes, I LOVE eggplant! I haven't been doing much cooking lately but your videos always inspire me to get back into the kitchen :) I also need to go to the Asian grocery where they have really nice vegetables like those little eggplants.
I love tomatillo but Thai eggplant is very different. You might be able to use tomatillo to make Jaew Mak Len (the tomato dip version) which I also have a video on how to make on my channel. Thank you for watching!
I love your videos, it’s so soothing and you break down the steps so well thank you.
Thank you so much!
Just made this. Your recipe is good! Thanks
Brings me home. Thank you for this content.
This looks soo good!! I’m going to make the sauce tomorrow. Thank you
I've always thought of plating like that and serving at my work. I think it matches korean ssam energy a lot too if you wrap it all in leafy greens.
Drolls. Love Thai food. Your dishes always speak volume.
I'm sooo glad, I found your video and I love the way you cooked your eggplant.
Mmmm so yummy. Lovely video too! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you!

This is my absolute favorite dish to eat with sticky rice. Whether it’s made with long purple eggplant or Thai eggplant. Both variations delicious !

Love the method for sticky rice!

Fantastic dish! Yummm....

@@ThunThunChannel thank you so much for your advice! I look forward to seeing more cooking content and learning from you!
It's like a South East Asian Baba ghanoush, how cool is that?

I ❤️ all of your delicious cooking and presentations 🥰🤗BTW what nationality are you, if you don't mind me asking😊
Is there a special name for this type of eggplant cuz all I see is the long purple one in America. Please let me know where I can buy this one.
Yes it’s also called Thai eggplant in the US
Thanks and hello from BKK bro.
Hello, thank you for watching na krub 🙏
The Thai Eggplant looks like what we would call tomatillo. Could that be used instead?
I love tomatillo but Thai eggplant is very different. You might be able to use tomatillo to make Jaew Mak Len (the tomato dip version) which I also have a video on how to make on my channel. Thank you for watching!
I add a little ground pork to my dip, I know it’s not authentic but hey nothing wrong with a little porky goodness 🐷🤙🏼
I bet it’s delicious with ground pork! Thank you for sharing.
Three crab fish sauce!
It looks good but very spicy 🥵
No sugar? I've been making it wrong? LOL
You can definitely add sugar. It will taste good too. Everyone makes it a bit differently. 😊
Is better to call Asia eggplant not only Thai have this eggplant.
This is how it is called in the US and how many people identify this eggplant here. Just like Vietnamese coriander, Italian basil… etc.
