    I bought an M90 2013 and it is the fukin bomb!!! Harley riders won't look at you cause they know you can stitch them with half throttle. It behaves well in slow traffic, it looks raw, it will cruise all day and all night at 90mph without a shimmy, shudder or hesitation. It costs 1/2 what a Harley costs, and out performs them. Im all for buying American. I bought the bike at a U.S. dealership, with a U.S. salesperson, financed through a U.S. bank. So don't give me your "buy american" bull. The plain truth is, it's a better bike, at 1/2 the price.

    Why do people who don't like cruisers do reviews on cruisers? Total duffus. No one watch's a review to hear someone complain the whole time about how it's not their type of bike.

      First off it's a test ride not a review. I didn't state that I was a professional and that this should help you decide what to buy. I do motovlogs and this just happened to be an event I attended and decided to ride the bike and talk about it. I had been interested in it and a few other cruisers for quite a while. Having ridden this one I determined cruisers weren't really my thing. I have a different test ride video that I did on a Victory Vegas and I really liked it. I still think in the end I said it wasn't for me or that it would take some getting used to.
      If you're upset because you own this bike and you were just watching to have someone else validate your choice in bike then you would be better off going to a local biker bar where I'm sure you'll find lots of people that will agree with you that cruisers are the best and everything else sucks. They may even invite you to follow them two miles down the road to the next bar.
      If I've offended you I'm sorry. All I can suggest is that you suck it up, buttercup. If the weather is just right and you're feeling up to it maybe a long ride down a nice straight road would make you feel better.

      i'm not a hater but Kryten, i think you could have given more objective information and maybe even talked about the engine performance, anything.

      so this a video blog, you didn't know the name of the bike when you started out. this was painful to listen to, I've ridden long enough, to just enjoy ridding,( Not saying your not). at a slower rate, it would have been great to hear more about the bike spec's, instead of ...blah, blah, I don't have video camera on my head, so easy for me:)

    I own an M90 and if you're really interested in learning about this incredible bike do not listen to this guy. The M90 is a muscle bike. I can rock with a 109 up to 120 mph. After that the 109 is gone. On the m90 you will be faster then 90% of all other vehicles on the road. This bike has instant acceleration. It will blow your mind. Go ride one and forget this review.

      Not sure what part of this video got your panties in a wad. At no point did I say it was a bad bike. I said it handles well and has plenty of power. So I'm not sure why you felt the need to leave a douchy comment.

      I never said you said it was a bad bike. This was a lousy review. You spend almost no time talking about the benefits of the bike. You did spend a lot of time on the forward controls and how WEIRD they felt. What rider doesn't know about the difference between sport bikes and cruisers in regards to riding position? With that said, I don't wear panties but since you said it, I have to say you do sound gay. BTW, I think I've seen 1 or 2 of your other cruiser reviews and its the same crap. WEIRD..WEIRD...

    • @kryten
      @kryten  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alan Turnquist I never said this was a review. Look at the title. It says test ride. It doesn't say review. You want a review go read a fucking motorcycle magazine or watch a professional review. This was exactly what the title said, at test ride. I didn't say the controls felt weird as if I was discovering it for the first time. I was just commenting on why I personally didn't care for the bike.
      Again not sure why you feel the need to be such a fucking douche to someone you don't know for no fucking reason just because they didn't say your chosen bike was the bestest ever. I've encountered quite a few Harley posers. I never imagined I would ever encounter an M90 poser.

    I know the feeling "not for me". Rode sports bikes and standard bikes for years. When you reach my age sport bikes are very uncomfortable especially when you have Osteoarthritis in your spine and lower back and hands then speed and carving roads don't seem to matter anymore. You will appreciate a good cruiser in your late 50's. You also get used to riding one and wonder why you didn't try one earlier in life. lol

    I own the M90 also and I understand what the driver was talking about while riding the bike , I added 3 inch handlebar risers and also added a set of front and rear foot boards and the bike has a whole new feeling to it , it is what should have been done at the factory .

    I have a 2009 Suzuki Boulevard C90T with the 1500cc. Their power plants have a decent amount of low end torque. First thing I ditched was the seat. I bought one from Ultimate Seats!

    Glad you reviewed this one. It's on my short list of cruisers for my 30min I-65 commute to the 'ria. I think it won't be as much of an adjustment for me seating wise, coming from an F650GS instead of a GSXR. I also want to try out the Vegas.

    It's sad that the M90 gets a bad rap like it does here. I had one in 2010 and loved it so much I've since upgraded to the M109R, but I can say that I had a blast on it. Anyone with only $10K to spend who isn't a little dude with crotch rocket fever, I would recommend it to. FYI I also own a 2006 Hayabusa and haters like to trash it too.
    See you on the road.

    • @kryten
      @kryten  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure where you see me giving it a bad rap. I just said I didn't care for it personally. I think I even said it wasn't a bad bike. I'm just not into cruisers in general. Honestly as cruisers go it ranks pretty high for me.
      As for Hayabusas they get a bad rap because lots of posers buy them and don't know how to ride them or ride them like douchebags. It doesn't mean they're bad bikes. I've ridden a Hayabusa and loved every minute of it. I'll still tell you though that as sport bikes go I've seen more assholes riding Hayabusas than any other sport bike. They just tend to attract show offs and posers.

    I have to agree with Scott. You are on the wrong bike and me being a fan of the M90 got very little from this mostly complaining as opposed to an honest objective review.

    I ride the M109R and I've never noticed vibrations in the pegs. I've never tried out the M90.

  • @kryten
    @kryten  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'll admit a sportbike on long trips is the wrong tool for the job. I've done three long trips on my GSXR now and by the time you're finished you don't want to see the bike much less ride it for a long time.
    Maybe if I had a cruiser I could get used to it but right now for trips I think I want either a small sport touring bike like a Ninja 1000 or an adventure touring bike like the Suzuki Vstrom or Yamaha Super Tenere. I like exploring offroad so I'm leaning toward the Vstrom or Tenere.

  • @kryten
    @kryten  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Test ride the Vegas. I liked it a lot more. I think I like the look of the M90 more but the Vegas felt really good to ride. If I ever get a cruiser it will definitely be a Vegas. If you haven't seen it look for my Victory Vegas test ride video. I said some similar things about the seating position but I really did like that bike other than that and I think that's just me not being accustomed to that riding position.

  • @kryten
    @kryten  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    They were moving them in and out so fast they didn't really have time to check anything. I guess they would just address something if someone noticed a problem.
    I wouldn't say I didn't like the bike. For what it is it's a really nice bike. I think cruisers just aren't my thing. I've test ridden a several and the Boulevard M90 is my second favorite after the Victory Vegas.

    Too much for a beginner? I'm looking at this bike and its little brother (the M50)

    • @kryten
      @kryten  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think it's too much for a beginner. As long as you take it easy and don't try to show off you should be fine. Have you ever been on a bike of any kind before? If not my advice is to spend at least your first day with it (or whatever you get) just sitting in your driveway getting used to the clutch and throttle. At first don't give it any throttle at all. Just let the clutch out until it catches and starts to pull. Then pull in the clutch and repeat. After you're comfortable with where the clutch engages start to give it just a very little bit of throttle. If you do that you'll get a very good feel for how much throttle is enough to get moving and you'll be fine. A lot of people pop the clutch and twist the throttle too much and end up having the bike get away from them. Good luck. If you get one shoot a video and send me a link.

      I have never been on a motorcycle before. But before I buy a bike, I'm definitely going to take the MSF course. And my friend's dad has a bike (the S40) that I could probably ride a couple times to get the feel for bikes after the MSF course.
      I was never planning on showing off hahaha. My main concern was the weight, as this thing weighs a beefy 723 pounds according to Suzuki's website.
      But that is very good advice! Thank you, and i'll definitely take it to heart when i get a bike!

    • @kryten
      @kryten  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      John Hudson On a cruiser the weight is down lower. With a low center of gravity you really don't feel the weight that much. It may be a bit harder to pick up if you drop it but then again with a low center of gravity that's not a big deal either.

    • @johnhudson9047
      @johnhudson9047 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      alright cool. So you don't feel like the weight is that big of a factor?
      I just didn't know how much of a factor the weight would be in low speed situations.
      I love the looks of this bike though hahaha

    • @kryten
      @kryten  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      John Hudson It might be slightly harder to handle in parking lots but on a cruiser the center of gravity is so low I don't think it matters like it would with a large sport bike or adventure touring bike. Sit on one at a dealer and see how it feels.

    Hey man. Awesome video even though I'm a proud owner of an m90 lol.

      @kryten  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +TheFillyFill Thanks for the reply. I don't really remember what I said in this video and I don't have time to watch it again right now. I don't remember it being a bad bike. It seemed like a great bike. It just wasn't for me. At the time I just wasn't comfortable on a cruiser since I was more accustomed to a sport bike or a standard bike. I've ridden a few more cruisers since then so I would probably like it a lot if I tried it again. I still don't foresee me getting a cruiser anytime soon though.

      For fucks sake, don't get butthurt because not everyone likes the same things you like. It wasn't a review. It was a test ride and I didn't care for it. I didn't say it was a piece of shit. I'm sure it's a great bike for people that are comfortable in that riding position. It just wasn't for me.
