We watch your videos as a family. We live in Michigan as well, and have plans for next year because of you. Thank you for the great content keep up the great videos.
We stayed in the exact location you did at the end of September. It was busy and people are pigs when it comes to trash. We still enjoyed our stay. Good video.
I’m not an outdoorsy, camping type person but I love your video adventures! I ordered the shoes for my husband (who is a hiker). I hope he likes them as much as you do. 😊
Seeing at 4K SUBS just make me realize how far you’ve come so quick just last month when you up loaded your boat video you were at 2k great job you have bright future
that was a very good stone. the quarts with the lil caramel swirl in it! I also avoid places if there are too many people. still, it was nice to be able to watch! see you next time! (:
Very nice editing, great camera work. Overall really good videos. The UP use to be kind of a secret a few years back, not anymore. Thanks for the great work.
So close to the Two Hearted River. A couple Bells Two Hearted ales would been nice. I love that area you guys camped at. Was at Whitefish Pt back in about 2006. I live down state near Hastings and would love to revisit. The little camp stove looks pretty slick. Great video.
Love your videos man. We have the exact same kayak same color, and funny thing you camped right by the dispersed camp spot ive been camping at for years, only traffic are the miners mining the shores. If we ever run into each other I'd definitely give you some cool spots to check out, camp, kayak and fish with no interruptions.
I’ve binged your videos since a friend shared your solo trip down the Au Sable and thoroughly enjoy your channel! Also live in NoMi and was hoping to see some fall camping 🍁🏕️ Atlas is the best girl and love seeing her on the kayak 🐾 Wish my husky could do that! Have you paddled the Sturgeon River yet? It’s a fun time. Thanks for the peaceful, aesthetically pleasing content 👏🏼😌😊
@@AtlasAdventures there are some great spots to camp & kayak on the Big Two Heart within a few miles of the mouth. Of course everything has changed since the fire but I'm sure it's still beautiful!
@@AtlasAdventures nice. Yeah I got one of the MSR pump style ones and it worked for about one use then just was completely useless. I’ve sworn off fancy filters from now on lol

Perch Lake is a nice little campground. But I could tell you some more secluded spots, like Carr Lake.

That’s awesome :) never been down the sturgeon, but plan on it eventually. Atlas and I appreciate it!
are those truck tents pretty sturdy?
Thanks!
Thank you Laura 😊
North of pine stump? Great spot if so! Been there many times
Whitefish should be biting off shore now
More northeast from pine stump but yes! Would love to check it out in the winter

@@TrappingTheMitten-JohnHowell definitely on my list of places to check out!
Nice :-) what campground? Thx
Love your videos. Could you tell me what breed your dog is and does he shed?
Thank you so much :) she’s a labradoodle, mostly lab tho
Ohhhh! I would never have guessed that. I'm in love with her personality.
i wouldnt rely on electronics or mechanisms to filter my water, sawyer squeeze never fails.
For sure! I had my other filter with me just in case
@@AtlasAdventures nice. Yeah I got one of the MSR pump style ones and it worked for about one use then just was completely useless. I’ve sworn off fancy filters from now on lol
@@Brinxy13 yeah they are cool and interesting to try out but always need a backup haha
I've had my MSR filter for 20 years and it works great. You may have to clean it often if you filtered water with materials in it.
I mean, i used it once in a pretty clean pond and it instantly clogged up. I have their stove and love it though.@@tzavitz
Camp the mouth of the Two Hearted River off season. Total seclusion. 4X4 MANDO.
Definitely going to attempt that this winter!
Crisp point next.
Yes, I want to check that out!
