You know what John I come from era of Louis Johnson, Stanley Clarke and a few other great bass players but I want to say I love their style, but I think I’m homegrown to this type of music theory has always been my forte when I want to college for music I stopped after I couldn’t read no dieted notes, I was playing bass, drums, and keyboards and trombone I understand trombone a lot the brass I always thought I could play guitar. Nope I’m talking about the sixth string and I always dabble with the Bass I love the base if I could put the wedding ring on the base I’ll be married to it. that means I will be a polygamist lol cause I got to have more than one. It’s like lays potato chips. You just can’t have one lol thank you bro. I really enjoy listening to your music. The theory of it is just it’s just cool man that’s all I got to say thank you I’m glad I met you are here
It seems like John Clayton is enjoying the show more than the audience . Great performance.
John Clayton is going for a walk with hist bass again! :) nice!
God, I love listening to this. I could sit all day and click on double bass videos.
The high notes are so clear!

The face of the drummer
We all wish we could have been there.😊
Impressive! What a show this must have been.
Love to watch this video over and over again
First time seeing this as an aspiring jazz musician. This only makes me want a double bass more.😂😂
the Ray Brown influence so apparent here!
my house is shaking with the loud speakers!!!
Damn, those are some great bass tones!
Great lines Thomas.

Sonic conversation!!
Top level!
Amazing!
Swingin'!!!
Maxim!
Brand new dingwall here
What's with the horrible rattling noise, for example around 3:10? Is that expected?
It’s called growl
As a metal musician, I gotta ask.. Is this double² bass?
How big is Thomas Pol's bass.......
It's a 4/4 Bohemian bass. It's a tank basically, ha!
Both play Evah Pirazzi strings?
I think John is using D'addario Helicore Hybrids from the green/gold wrappings. But Thomas' look like Evahs for sure
Its in the need to put EQ on audio!
Drummer in the back😂😂😂
I don't know what to say.
.
Why does the drummer look annoyed
the drummer looks like anakin when before he overestimates his power
😒 this was underwhelming and did not sound pleasant
Could you post a bass solo so we can compare please
Kevin Haines just an opinion.
This is totally overwhelming! Any upright bass player is just in awe over this playing. Like John Clayton says "get yourself a bass and start walking"
