I recently fell down a rabbit hole of making socks, too! In my first year of knitting last year I made 13 pairs for myself and friends/family 😂😂. I absolutely NEED to cast on a pair of these frog socks ASAP, thank you for sharing!
If you’re interested, I have two tips that really helped me with my sock knitting! First, you can actually cast on 1 extra stitch and join in the round before you start knitting your first round by slipping it over the last stitch - there are tons of videos on how to do it and it makes my join seamless! Secondly, there are some 10 inch circular needles where the right needle is longer (Chiagoo has interchangeable ones and there are some by Addi, too). This was a game changer for me and made knitting on small circulars so much more comfortable!
Thank you so much for the video, I loved knitting a sock along with you and will definitely follow for more videos in the future!
Thank you so much for those tips!!!
I knit my first (vanilla) pair of socks last month and I'm currently on my second pair - the first were for my mother. These socks are definitely gonna be moved to the top of my to-knit-list as soon as I get yarn for them
Yes!!! I love that!!
If I end up loving socks after years of self-discouragement I’m going to have you alone to thank for it 💕💕
Aww! You can do it!!!
@@nataliebeau 🥰 your passion is contagious! 🤗
I’m watching this while knitting my sock project 😂
So cuuuuute!! I’ve never seen the tip about putting the needles together during cast on - I will for sure be trying that!! Thank you 🙏 😊
Great tips! And you describe the process really well 😺
I always cast on my socks on a bigger size needle and the n change from the first row of knitting. I find it less fiddley than using 2 needles to cast over . Love the Froggy socks, I have now downloaded the pattern and will def make them soon 🤩
I just finished my first sock after your “10 reasons you should start knitting socks” video inspired me. It took me at least a few weeks, but I’m so proud of it! It’s nice to see that ideas I had like using a crochet hook to pick up stitches are the same ideas other more experienced people use
Ahh! That’s awesome!!! 👏🏻
I have never felt the need to make a pair of socks more than i do now
Yessssss! Do ittt!!!
ur the sweetest thing ever omg
i am really scared of knitting socks since i have only been knitting for 6 months and learnt of of youtube but i really wanna try these socks. They look sooooo amazing!!!!!!
I’m getting ready to cast on my first sock in the next week. I’m so glad I found your videos! I will definitely make some froggy socks in the future! 🐸 thank you for sharing.
Absolutely adorable! I love knitting socks too! I’m doing some pretty color work socks now and just love them.
I always knit both socks simultaneously...on dpn from the top down...when you're done 1, you're done both shortly after! Trick myself...I can make 3 pairs a week and prefer 100% wool!
Liked and subbed! You go girl! ❤
3 pairs a week!?! That is insane!!
Thank you for sharing your journey making this pair of socks, I love watching your videos !!! You make me want to knit socks now ! 😊
Yay!! Thank you for watching! I hope you make them!! ♥️♥️
Hehehehe I love the socks I want some! (Birthday) Miss youuuu🧦💕

Yes!!!! Frogs the the best 🐸💚
Thank u sooooo much ..believe me you have explained it so simply that I absolutely understand the process..I have found others do not do this assuming that everybody has an understanding of these basics.
Definitely subscribed as I'm hoping for more videos of knitting projects which I can follow along without feeling overwhelmed ❤
Awww thank you so much!!! I’m so glad you enjoyed it ♥️♥️♥️♥️
I need to make these! Thanks for sharing ❤

I Just found your channel and I’m in love ❤
🥰🥹 you just made my day! I’m so glad you’re here 💚
@@nataliebeau the video just felt so friendly! Like listening to a friend 💜
Omg stop that’s so sweet 🥹
where did you get your cute stitch markers? i love them!
I added thrifted charms to “lightbulb pins”. So easy and fun!! 😋
Can you share where you purchased your needle stoppers at please?
It was at a local yarn store, so sadly I don’t have a link! :(
my biggest dream is to knit like you were in bed but my arms always get so tired ugh
Do you knit on a table?? I’ve also seen people take pregnancy looking pillows and wrap the around the front of their body so their arms are more supported!
@@nataliebeau I do usually knit at my desk, or on a couch! A pregnancy pillow is a brilliant idea I will try that!
Watch your gauge. Some knit tighter on 9" circulars.
I haven’t had any problems so far! Thanks for the heads up!
Omg it actually took you almost 3 weeks to finish them. I think the longest it took me was 4 days. Girl you have patience 🥹😵💫 I need to move on to the next project so quickly otherwise I never finish what I am making. I am actually working on a new sock atm and I completely feel your excitement. Thank you for the video it was fun watching you. ❤
Wow!! That’s so fast! Yeah it takes me awhile since I have a full time job + after work commitments . So I don’t have a ton of down time to work on stuff
@@nataliebeau oh I have a 24/7 job. 😅1 toddler +new born. I just take advantage of their nap time 😹❤️ but honestly it was so nice watching your video and knitting. 🧶
