The Undertaker has always been above the heel and baby face status due to his presence alone. I remember back in the 90s, when he was a supernatural force among friends and how people used to think he really was a walking dead-man than a gimmick. He'll always be the person that elevated Wrestling into an exciting storytelling visual story and how exciting his bouts were. A legend, the one and only, Mark William Calaway.
Don't think channels like yours get enough credit. The hours you put in on researching this information, obviously it's all out there to read and see but to do the research and compile it all in a video, nailed it 👏
I had a friend growing up who had heart issues and every few years had heart surgery every few years to correct these issues. He loved the undertaker. As a child, i never understood why taker was his favorite. As an adult looking back, realizing how close my friend was to death I understand now why the dead man had so much influence on him in those days. Shout out to the undertaker and hos biggest fan Joseph.

Ngl undertaker was the only wrestler to never stop wrestling threw his whole career. Only time is when injuries but he never even did other things like movies when he could have easily done them
I remember watching his television debut when I was in elementary school. I was in total awe. It made quite an impression... Later I was absolutely petrified when he put (sealed) the Ultimate Warrior in a coffin.... That was big news on the elementary school playground, I still remember it vividly.
Extremely well done. My favorite thing of each of his later matches would end up being his suicide dive over the top. You could count on him doing each of his unique moves, and sure enough, not the least of which, he would do this once in the match. The sight of this giant man in black looking as smooth as Rey Mysterio while he was at it, didn’t last long, and gave me the chills.
Yo what a fucking way to honor the American Badass , the dead man , the phenom , the unholy trinity bruh before he gets inducted into the wwe Hall of fame class of 2022 alongside Vader Rest In Peace Queen sharmell , Shad Gaspard , Scott And Rick Steiner the Steiner brothers
Very nice video, I use to be a die hard fan of wrestling. Over the last 15 years I've pulled away from wrestling and watching your channel brings back memories of my childhood. These new guys are interesting but nothing like the 90's guys.
Taker is not a consummate professional. He is THE consummate professional. Anyone looking to break into professional wrestling can use him as a benchmark of all the right things to do in the business, or even as an example of how to approach life in general.
The well in doubt greatest, respected, professinao, loyal, humble, clll, dlwn to earth legend of all time. I'm so grateful just like many of you to watch and follow his work 4 a long time. Thank you taker
Growing up as a wrestling fan the first incarnation I saw of Taker was the American Badass and as early as then there was an aura of fear and legitimacy around Taker's character, later on I was scared out of my wits when Taker was buried alive and brought back from the dead at WM 20, from there I would see Taker on the main event of SD considering him as the final boss of the show. As a kid watching Taker throughout the years the best part of my youth was watching him every week without missing a show. When I went to college and watched wrestling a little bit less I would only see Taker pop up on social media for the build up to his WM matches but I did not miss any of the matches as he defended the most impressive feat such as the streak. I always felt that even when I grew up and had to be a man seeing Taker win would always bring me back to a simpler time. When news came out that the streak was broken I was irate, I mean why the hell would they end it? Why on the 30th anniversary of WM? I was sad, I was pissed it was being splashed with cold water to wake me up, years later we only saw Taker soldier on and tbh I didnt understand much of where John was coming from when he kept taking shots at Taker saying he's washed up? How dare him say that about taker? As much as I respect John it didn't feel right so it felt good he got squashed at WM. Seeing taker chase the dragon felt like nothing to me since I always had that image of Taker who was cold and intimidating in the ring. But to see him take that scary bump from Goldberg and see him in the Boneyard match I always felt that maybe the dragon can't be caught for a reason. It was only until the Last ride did I understood that Taker had gone through so much in his life, his body but never complained. He would always have his body repaired and rested whenever Vince needed him because he never wanted to embarrass Vince and the company, Never did I imagine I would cry my eyes out the moment Taker talked about getting concussed and was rushed to the hospital by Vince and Brock, I never realized I would cry my eyes out when he would leave his ring after his match with Roman and break character for the first time in years and I never knew until the end of the series that this was Taker's goodbye to in ring competition. Here I cried because I realized that it was time for Taker to ride into the sunset to give Mark the much needed time to enjoy the fruits of his labor. A part of me cried, but a part of me was in peace because after giving so much of himself for us, it's time to put himself as a priority for his loved ones. Among all the videos Wrestle with Andy made this by far has to be one of the very best work in putting so much effort and respect to the character, Thank you as I tear up writing this you've made this life long fan of the deadman pretty happy.
This man made my childhood awesome - best character wwe ever created - coolest entrance and I always thought Kanes debut was the best storyline ever - always thought Kane should of took the streak - I can’t even think of a tag team that could stand up to the brothers of destruction - undertaker and Kane used to throw big men like triple H around like they were stuffed toys
5:15 I've been watching a lot of wrestler bios here lately and the running theme with many of them is Vince McMahon didn't see much in them and then they became legends
10 thumbs up. You captured Undertaker's entire career to perfection. I love how you captured all the different versions of his character and the storylines that went behind them and with such precision. My one and only criticism is that you left out one of the best Undertaker moments: Tombstoning Vicki Guerrero when you spoke of her shenanigans. Arguably if not with certitude The Undertaker's best Tombstone of all time on that screeching "Excuse me" Ole Bag. LOL!!!
The ministry of darkness gimmick was so cool. It was his best look and one of his best themes and titantrons imo. Its too bad it was so short lived and a bad story ending ruined it.
Lol, I bought it ALL hook line and sinker when I was a kid. I really did think he drew his power through that urn lol. Growing up in the 90s with WWF was the BOMB. Wrestling now sucks, there are no gimmicks, no costumes, it's all just roided out dudes in spandex trunks. That's why WWE is going down the shitter.
@@badnewsbruner It's more like it's catered to kids + moms now. There's just lack of personalities and creativity freedom, so that's the other thing. You're more limited in WWE now compared to back then because everyone wants to play this 'Superhero' persona.
Everyone was a rock Austin Bret hart fans but I was the undertaker fan since day one he was the king of story telling backed by some of the best in ring work ever he was and still is one of the pillars off wwe. Vince knew he could always count on him.
When The Undertaker executes a tombstone, flicks his hair, rolls his eyes backwards and sticks his tounge out,you know the match is over otherwise it's a near fall😂
The greatest ever no arguments allowed He stayed loyal to the WWE for over 30 years, put over great talents, and gave us legendary matches. All this while protecting his character through out the years
This is indeed one of your best docs @wrestlewithandy Even though I was a huge fan of both the Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin, I have the utmost respect for the Undertaker. I miss classic WWF :(
I'll never forget when he came out. Giant that can be very agile and fast. And POWER! Dude was scary.
This man has always been my number one wrestler! I always told my family that when Taker retired, I would quit watching wrestling, and I have. Because wrestling just isn't worth watching if Taker isn't on there.
Finally! I've been waiting for this story. Thank you, Wrestle With Andy!🤗🤗
Enjoy the video, and happy mania week 🎉🎉
@@WRESTLEWITHANDY Thanks. You too, man.
Not only was he legendary in wrestling if not the greatest wrestler overall. Man he is just a genuinely good guy.
Loved that he lasted as long as he could. Best part of my childhood.
Ngl undertaker was the only wrestler to never stop wrestling threw his whole career. Only time is when injuries but he never even did other things like movies when he could have easily done them
All respect for Undertaker Mark Calaway hell of a career hell of a wrestler
I’m so happy to see this video been requesting it for about a year
I remember watching his television debut when I was in elementary school. I was in total awe. It made quite an impression... Later I was absolutely petrified when he put (sealed) the Ultimate Warrior in a coffin.... That was big news on the elementary school playground, I still remember it vividly.
Undertaker will always never be forgotten. Mark you will be a great in industry of wrestling God bless you for everything you 🙏
I bet Ole Anderson was kicking himself when he realized that he was wrong about Taker.
Finally undertaker story is here I love ur documentaries Andy! BTW you going to wrestlemania?
Appreciate the support, enjoy the video 🤘🏻💪🏻👊🏻
Extremely well done. My favorite thing of each of his later matches would end up being his suicide dive over the top. You could count on him doing each of his unique moves, and sure enough, not the least of which, he would do this once in the match. The sight of this giant man in black looking as smooth as Rey Mysterio while he was at it, didn’t last long, and gave me the chills.
Finally! I just discovered this channel and have been waiting patiently for this one!
THE UNDERTAKER IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE WRESTLERS!
One of the greatest of all time for sure, enjoy the vid bro, happy mania weekend 🤘🏻
THANK YOU! WRESTLE WITH ANDY! YOU ALSO HAVE A MANIA WEEKEND!
The best character ever! That chime brought fear
Undertaker is my favorite wrestler of all time ever since his debut I loved all his gimmicks too
#THANKYOUTAKER
#THEPHENOM
#AMERICANBADASS
#THEDEADMAN
Ahh, the sweet good ole times when storylines were actually good and worth it to watch…
Very nice video, I use to be a die hard fan of wrestling. Over the last 15 years I've pulled away from wrestling and watching your channel brings back memories of my childhood. These new guys are interesting but nothing like the 90's guys.
As a big Undertaker fan, I appreciate the effort you put on this video, it's amazing
Taker is not a consummate professional. He is THE consummate professional. Anyone looking to break into professional wrestling can use him as a benchmark of all the right things to do in the business, or even as an example of how to approach life in general.
I use to be a devoted wwf fan however the Undertaker was one of my favorite wrestlers and this documentary is on point and great!
I love that his fellow workers still consider him a Deadman even with his American Badass/Big Evil gimmick.
My favorite WWE character of all time. Despite knowing the show isn't for real, he gave me reason to love the whole thing
The well in doubt greatest, respected, professinao, loyal, humble, clll, dlwn to earth legend of all time. I'm so grateful just like many of you to watch and follow his work 4 a long time. Thank you taker
I'VE BEEN WAITING VERY VERY PATIENTLY FOR THIS VIDEO! THANKS MY MAN!
Enjoy the vid man, happy wrestlemania week 🤘🏻💪🏻👊🏻
Just the greatest pro wrestler ever. No one can put on a show like him. He was so many of the best matches.
Thank you!! This was perfectly put together 🤘
The greatest Wrestler of all time The Undertaker ❤❤
Under-TAKER
UNDER-TAKER
Miss those days
Just want to thank you for all the quality videos , after a long day sit down play 2k22 and watch a couple of vids reminding me of my childhood.
A legend
A great man
A great wrestler
He's definitely one of my favorite wrestlers watching the 90s, and I truly believed that gimmick.
@@badnewsbruner I mean they're making more money than ever, the product may not be there but saying its down the shitter is plain wrong.
Everyone was a rock Austin Bret hart fans but I was the undertaker fan since day one he was the king of story telling backed by some of the best in ring work ever he was and still is one of the pillars off wwe. Vince knew he could always count on him.
There will NEVER EVER be another like Undertaker. True legend 💯
I never got tired of The Undertaker. Never cared for the American Badass or Big Evil.
Best of all time.
American Badass was my Taker.
Andy is the man.
The Undertaker is the greatest wrestler of all time in all pro wrestling.
I stopped watching WWE in like 2011. I think it’s just unwatchable now. But your videos have given me so much good nostalgia and I thank you.
Appreciate the support man, glad your enjoying the vids 🤘🏻👊🏻☝🏻💪🏻
I'm exactly the same way brother it's just not the same,I peek in now and then but just can't get into it
When The Undertaker executes a tombstone, flicks his hair, rolls his eyes backwards and sticks his tounge out,you know the match is over otherwise it's a near fall😂
Finally he's done Mark callaway!!! My number one favorite of all time
The greatest ever no arguments allowed
He stayed loyal to the WWE for over 30 years, put over great talents, and gave us legendary matches. All this while protecting his character through out the years
This is indeed one of your best docs @wrestlewithandy Even though I was a huge fan of both the Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin, I have the utmost respect for the Undertaker. For him to last as long as he is and was able to stay on top as the "Big Dog in the Yard" spoke volumes about how his character was unique and special. Now, his legacy will live on as a WWE Hall of Famer. The taker is the MAN!!
