I'm skeptical of artists that manage to keep their hands looking like they just got a manicure. If you don't get paint all over your hands and use them for testing the moisture level of your watercolor pencils, what's even the point? :D

I absolutely love Spirited Away; it's one of my favorite movies. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical at first of how well a doll repaint of a faceless character would turn out. Turns out, it turns out awesome! I really love all the little details you added, the characters spelling her name on her cheek, the translucent shimmery skin and wave patterns to reference how No-Face was ghostly and wibbly-wobbly. Well done!

I only have memories of the more traumatizing scenes, like the pig parents, the big baby in the mountain of cushions, No Face going on an eating frenzy and chasing Chihiro, and the ending(?) where No Face and Chihiro are on a bus or train. Will definitely rewatch it when I get the chance. ☺️

This is honestly incredible! I first watched a studio ghibli film when I was 5 and to date have only missed out 2 or 3 out of their 20-something collection! I will admit though that Spirited Away isn't my favourite out of their films, as that spot will forever be taken by 'Princess Mononoke' or 'Mononoke Hime'. That film is breathtaking and is now on Netflix! Our DVD was beginning to give out from me watching it too much so I'm so grateful for a new way to watch it!

Lovely doll, this is one of my favorite customs I've seen! Also, I really enjoy how you just really WENT in with that gloss - most times when I watch a customizing video, the customizer seems to use such a thin single coat over the lips and eyes and I always wish they'd just gloss it up a bit more. That was my favorite part of the video, so satisfying

Thank you so much! I decided to do them in a brown because in a previous doll I did darker eyebrows and it ended up looking really unbalanced, kind of ruined the face sadly, so didn't want that to happen to her. Thanks so much again!
