😁 For the price I do like the cladding. Its 22mm log roll. I did want thicker... but the price just blows the budget (hence the recycled cladding on the back). Thanks for watching Allan 😁👍
😆😆 I'm just glad I'm as skinny as I am. If I were any bigger I would have been in a lot more trouble 🤣. I hope the video was of some help. Thanks for watching 😁 👍
This is my second shed at new home place with some experience already. First shed on old adress i built so close to fence so could not get there, only couple inches, just enough room for mini socket ratchet, to screw pentaplex windows, reaching from roof
🤣 Thanks Ash 😁. Dont know about "athletic and slim"... more "old and skinny" 🤣🤣. But the skinny bit has helped getting around the back of the shed 🤣🤣. Thanks for watching mate 😁👍
I love the cladding mate with the slight curve ! Can't say much else too busy with baby Dunlop ! 👶 😂 🙏 😂 anyway take care and best wishes to yourself and the missus Frank ! 😎 😁 👶 ❤ 💜 💙 👍 👍 👍 .
😁 Aww thanks. You know me. Why make it easy when you can over complicate it 🤣🤣. I'm getting there slowly, can't wait for it to be done so I can over complicate something else 🤣🤣. Thanks for watching 😁xxx
Great job frank i was so pleased to seethe boss come out and take a look to make sure it was being built correctly, it did make me laugh seeing you squeeze around the shed had you of eaten a polo i dont think you would of made it round. The cladding looks really nice i should think it was costly.
🤣 Thanks Sandman, these things need to be monitored 🤣. At least "no flowers were killed in the making of this video" (but some veg did suffer.. a bit 😫). Had to get the back done before lunch... or I would still be stuck there now 🤣🤣. Thanks for watching 😁👍
Loving this series Frank, it’s really looking great. Best part was er indoors hanging up your socks on the clothes line…🤣 Like the look of the cladding great choice there.
😁 Thanks Harki. I didn't realise she was video bombing so much. In the last couple of videos she keeps appearing in the kitchen window 🤣. I love the cladding, I think it looks better than feather edge. Thanks for thatching 😁👍
Looks almost ready to move in,I must say that it's looking great,I'm jealous of your pencils though, you get yellow and here in Australia ours are blue!!!!😨oh well least they still match my Makita , looking forward to your finished shed take care Frank cheers mate 👍👍
😁 Thanks Trevor, progress is slow. But I'm getting there. The pencils are my old faithfull workzone ones from Aldi which I got about 5 years ago. I think the new ones are blue. But at least my old yellow ones match my Stanley FatMax drivers 🤣🤣. Thanks for watching Trevor 😁👍.
Yes you are probably right, my ALDI ones are Blue, same as my blue ALDI F clamps, but a pencil is a pencil cheers mate, take care catch you next video 👍👍
nice job with the cladding. I wonder would it have been easier to treat the wood before applying to the wall especially the back wall. your doing such a good job with the build, will your good lady decide to commandeer it when its finished🥴
🙄Your 100% right David. But because I was literally making it up as I go along and using some recycled materials it would have taken so long to measure / cut / fit / adjust and re paint that in this case it makes more "time sence" to paint it all at the end 😁. I am only having the end 4" for project wood storage 😒. All of the rest is for Mrs Little workshop to put her garden stuff in. Hopefully that will be enough 😁. Thanks for watching David 😁👍
Just a tip for anyone else using the membrane. When you start the second layer, put a pipe up through the roll and use a clamp to keep the bottom of the roll at the right height.. Makes it easier to walk at round and keep it level..
I feel your pain with those tight spaces. Have had the same issues with my workshop built and got that on one side of my wife's shed. Built hers further away from the fence, but our garden isn't square, so one side was unavoidable.
Nice video, Frank . I'm watching the project from the begining. How much did cost you so far?(I know you will make a video at the end but was curious you've spend till this point. keep safe
😁 Hi Mihai. I've only been keeping a rough total so far but so far its about £1200. Which is a lot, but still a lot less than buying a ready made kit (of the same spec). I almost have everything else I need (just need some timber for the doors). So not much more outlay to come 😁. Hope that gives you some idea. Thanks for watching 😁👍
THanks ,Frank. That helps a lot. I need to build one shed for myself after we move in the house that we're in mortgage process right now. the problem is garden end shape. the garden in 5.6 m wide by 13m long on left side and 12 m long on right side. I'm thinking to build it at the end of the garden 5 m wide , 4m on long on left side and 3 m right side(so the shed it will not be square and thinking to make a shed roof style. do you think will be any problems along the build?
@@mihairachita174 🤔 Hi Mihai. Please remember i am not an expert, but I can't see it being a massive problem to have this style of roof on an irregular shaped shed. However... each rafter will be a slightly different size so you won't be able to make them all the same, as I have done. So to maintain a constant pitch height (the apex along the roof) the angle and length of each rafter will need to change. So there will be some interesting angles to deal with. But anything is possible. Just "expect the unexpected". Drop a new comment here if you make any progress. Good luck Mihai 😁👍.
😁 Hi Paul, I can't remember exactly. But I think it was about £1200 all in. Which was still a lot cheaper than buying a kit 😁. Hope that helps Paul. Thanks for watching 😁 👍
🤣🤣 Thanks Jim 🤣, I'm glad you noticed. I think you are the first one to notice that I'm a useless romantic. I don't think Mrs Little workshop has seen it yet 😂, she may never know 🤣. Thanks for watching Jim 😁👍
@@rm9719 😁 Hi rm, I'm not an expert (as you can see), but i assume that if you have a sufficient overlap then no tape is required. But if anyone knows better then I would go with there expert advice. Thanks for watching 😁 👍
@frankslittleworkshop thanks for the reply. You could be right. I know taping using aluminium tape is necessary when insulating to prevent water ingress and cold bridging. I'm sure what you've done will be fine though. Good job!
@@rm9719 😁 Thanks rm 😁. I must admit, it seems to be working perfectly. Its so nice and dry that a family of wasps have decided to take up residence in my shed and have built a nest. Thats a problem for another day 😆😆.
Lots of Mrs Little Workshop cameos in this one 🤣🤣
🤣🤣 I'm sure she is just checking im doing it properly 🤣. Thanks for watching James 😁👍
That looks great with that type of cladding Frank. Thanks for the video.👍

😁 Thanks Cindy. Glad you liked it. More to come soon 😁. Thanks for watching 😁👍
Thanks for video. This is first your video i came up. First thing was make me smile when you got to squeeze between shed and fence. I got same issue.

A lot of work but very educational how you make this, I have a lot of respect
