I just said what I was grateful for and it brought me to tears. A deep sense of gratitude washed over me. I’m thankful I learned what true gratefulness is.

How do you obtain discipline and consistency when one has ADHD? For example, I want to start doing yoga with my 11 year old daughter. I can’t even start let alone being consistent. I can’t wait to talk about this with my therapist.
I would set reminders first. That’s very helpful for me. When I’m trying to start a habit I set an alarm on my phone. I post sticky notes in different places. I put a calendar item in my phone so I can have multiple alarms. And then I don’t beat myself up if I don’t do it every day. Start with a weekly habit once a day. Then move up by adding one day per week. From there, let your body and intuition tell you what it needs. Starting micro habits are also just as important and powerful when we’re trying to create well-being schedules. I hope this helps.
