@@user-lf4sb5lb1u I'm 99percent sure they print it all for you. You upload your pics like Carissa showed they can be from your camera roll, Facebook, instagram etc. Then you pick out the colors and style of the book and voila they print it on a nice book for you. It's similar to what shutterfly does..
This is amazing!! I just got a house and it also has a unfinished basement. Being only 20 years of age and never working construction, I don’t really know how much time it would take. So exactly how long did it take for you husband to finish the basement, and is he experienced in construction if you don’t mind me asking?
What a transformation! That basement went from dreary to amazing!! Love the floor added to the basement. My husband would love a space like that for his office.
I would make the basement the playroom and make the playroom upstairs an office space Amazing how light it feels down there. The flooring and white ceiling really made a difference
When your husband said he's ready for it to be done I felt that. We just moved and are finishing our basement. And that's after doing the basement at our old house. I'm just ready for it to be done.
This gives me joy. I watched it when it first came out but I was not a home owner yet... This is exactly what I needed to get me inspired for my basement
I think i would make it into a hangout spot, with like a pool table and a bar. It would also be great because the kids rooms are upstairs, so you would be able to spend evenings down there.
As someone who took their 2 bed/ 1 bath ranch-house down to the studs and dry-walled the whole thing, I completely understand how much mudding and sanding Nick did. Way to go! It is hard work, but so so rewarding! This looks great!
they done an out standing job on dry wall... i know your so proud an appreciate him an his friend, ur such great wife bragging on him! love love ur channel ,
Looks great. Had the same concerns about closing in my basement ceiling but I promise if you throw up some drywall and LED recessed lighting… it’ll look like a finished room and so much more warmer and feel way less like a basement.
There are a lot of things I'm willing to do in DIY but mudding and sanding is not one of them. It is always worth hiring a professional to do that, as far as I'm concerned. Such a grueling and messy task. Nick did such an awesome job!
I wasn't really digging the open ceiling until you said "Industrial office space" and it hit me and I LOVE IT! Especially with your styling, its gonna be so awesome when its all complete! Great job to Nick and Justin!
What a great video; you must be so proud of the transformation, and so proud of your husband! He did a fantastic job. I was born in Chicago, but have lived most of my life in Florida, and one of the only things i really miss is basements! We can not have basements down here because there is too much water under the ground. Anyway, I would love to have that extra space for home office space for me and my husband, and also study space for our kids. It would also be great to have a second family room. Kids in Florida miss out on hanging out in the basement with friends! One last thing i would love a basement for is to have a proper laundry room down there instead of just a laundry area in the garage. Folding clean laundry 5 feet from lawn equipment and auto supplies just bugs me! LOL Enjoy your new space and your increased storage! 🖤
Waited for this reveal for a while now so really happy to finally see it 😅 Awesome job Nick! Can’t wait for Carissa to have the time and chance to add her touch to it! Well done! ☺️
What about a big mirror over the coach instead of a mural , which would enlarge the room quite a bit??? Love the end result. You guys are awesome! Congrats Nick on your new office space.
Looks amazing! The drywall and the floors make such a difference. I think putting the couch parallel to the future tv could make a more separated office space. And the desk could go against the back wall where the toy shelf is. Just an idea!
Nice job!! Maybe when the girls are a little older. You can make this into a play room/ rec. room for the girls. Each of the girls can have there own bedrooms.
Looks great 👍 I wouldn't add too many "toys". Maybe just some board games and puzzles for quiet play time. It would make a nice adult game night type of space (monopoly, pictionary, a deck of cards, etc...).
@@michellekeating477 Well most homes where I live have windows in the basement. If you build a bedroom in the basement, you legally have to have an Egress window which allows for escape in the event of fire. There is no bedroom here...so I guess a window is unnecessary.
That was my first thought, the basement looks absolutely amazing so bright! But it seems there was a window there that was walled over, which make my claustrophobic self uneasy.
Great work done by Nick &justin.. 👍🏻.. bedroom looks amazing as background.. Please share video of organising the small area of basement with all the storage
Framing before flooring, but drywall can be done before or after flooring. Either way you want a small gap between the drywall and the floor. Then the final trim covers that gap
It looks good, but working in a basement could be really depressive. I´d love to have a basement or any kind of little room for all kind of things I have no place for store. Good job !!!
Did you have to do over the floor or level it at all.. thinking of redoing my basement myself however I'm not sure if I have to level it and put in a sump pump
Several months of work in a few minutes!! Like for Nick and his hours of hard work on this 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I'm from South Africa, and I just wanted to ask if Popsa does the book for you in other words prints it for you, or you need to have a photo printer?

Nick has such a good friend in Justin. Thumbs Up to them.
The guys did an awesome job, love the “hip office” feel with the ceiling!

Looks great, whole new workspace. The light colour makes it not seem like the basement.
I like the industrial ceiling. Glad you showed that because I was actually looking for a nice way to one.
Thanks for posting

Mudding and sanding a room is not joke!! We built some rooms at our mma gym and I had the “pleasure” 🤣 of learning how to mud and sand!!
It’s the WORST! ❤️🤣
You should do a storage room make over/ organize video 👍🏼😉🇨🇦❤️
Beautiful. I’m about to start mine this summer. Just floating around looking for ideas.
Lots of hard work and so neat that he, his friend and family completed it. What an accomplishment.
Looks great. Had the same concerns about closing in my basement ceiling but I promise if you throw up some drywall and LED recessed lighting… it’ll look like a finished room and so much more warmer and feel way less like a basement.
Man cave is what I’ll use it for and biggest thing was the framing and walls!! 😊 good job!!
I love the industrial vibe!! What a perfect space for Nick. The guys did a great job.... 🤗
It’s definitely not my style, but I love the way it turned out!!! It fits this space perfectly! ❤️😍
I like the idea of just painting the joist space instead of boarding it up. Looks great
It’s sad how much I have been looking forward to seeing this transformation lol looks amazing!
Nick did a great job! Nice to have his friend help too! 👍
I like that you took out the window it looks more modern
I've been waiting for this video!!! SO INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL
Thank you!!
I always feel like I'm watching a TV show with your videos 😍
Please do a part 2 of the completed space and with your touches. Also stage solution for that nook :)

Love how you left the ceiling and just painted those beams!! It would've definitely felt closed off if you covered them all! Great job Nick!!!

Nice and bright for a basement!
What a great space for your family. Your husband and his friend did such a good job! Your home is beautiful ❤️
Thank you! They did!
It looks so good! I remember when you were down there during a bad storm and now it’s totally functional. Great job Nick (and Justin)!!
You should put a projector up and make it like a movie room!!
Long term it would be cool to make this the playroom/chill lounge for the girls and give Nick their playroom as his office.
I like having my office very far away from my bedroom
Amazing job!!!

I’ve been dying for this! Great work and shout out to Justin!!!
I came across another DIY basement makeover video. Quite amazing, too.

Great transformation!

Looks great. Add some panels to the sill plate to cover up the insulation and also crown moulding, it will look very nice
Cool! You inspired me to make my basement!
So excited for a garage transformation next🤣❤
Nice job!!
Maybe when the girls are a little older. You can make this into a play room/ rec. room for the girls.
Each of the girls can have there own bedrooms.
When the kids are older that would be there playroom. Mine was in the basement. It was nice to be out of sight out of mind lol. Less chores
LOVE THAT SINK!!!
Yea yea yea yea yeaaaaa !!! Been waiting for this video ... Finally here ✨
You should get pipes to run along the ceiling for that industrial vibe
I love the part when you where painting glade to know I’m not the only one that forgets tags on my clothes 😂
Definitely worth the wait to see the beautiful end result!! Btw loving the hair 😍
The floor is to die for. very nice job
It looks amazing! Love how bright and big it looks 😍
Looks great 👍
I wouldn't add too many "toys". Maybe just some board games and puzzles for quiet play time. It would make a nice adult game night type of space (monopoly, pictionary, a deck of cards, etc...).
I love seeing your videos your house is so beautiful inside and out you have such a amazing sense of style
Aww thank you!
You’re dog is adorable!! Also amazing transformation!!!
Great work on your basement. Not sure about no window? You and your hubbie work so hard...love the home you are creating. Love Bubbie too btw.

Amazing job, guys! I'm so jealous. I want to attempt this but I'd be doing it on my own and it would take forever. So worth it though! Congrats! 👏
Basement looks great. Did you guys go through the permitting process and how hard was it? Going to start on my basement next year.
In my house, it would be a movie theater or guest bedroom!
I Can't to see final product!AMAZING!!!!
Goooo nick + Justin!!!!!
Nice!!! Love your work!!
Wow that looks great
Such a big project! That was really nice of your friend to offer all that work for free haha he deserves a tip
It looks awesome! So light and bright :)
Looks amazing...they did a great job!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
A great job!! ❤️💖
This would of been a gym if it were my house 😄 it looks amazing! Good job guys
Nice job!! I LOVE the trim color!!
Wow, I love it! I need friends like your guys friend Justin, lol.
I’ve been so excited for this video 😍 I can’t wait to watch this amazing transformation Carissa!
looking forward to completing my basement
I thought you'd make the basement the play room and the extra room up stairs his office. But looks great! You two are rocking the home remodels.
Such a fun transformation!
What a transformation🤩
Great work done by Nick &justin.. 👍🏻.. bedroom looks amazing as background.. Please share video of organising the small area of basement with all the storage
Oh my gosh! I was in need of some motivation to start painting my bedroom and then you upload a video. Perfect timing!
Sorry am totally lagging but good job Nick! The basement is beautiful and I am sure it was a huge seller for your beautiful home.
Excellent space, 👍🏻
Great job! I love the color of the floor..good choice, it helps to brighten the room..and the beam is 👌
Thanks so much! 😊 I love how the beam turned out too
Excellent .beautiful and functional👏👌👌
That's awesome! It looks great. I wish we had basements in Texas. :)
Thank you Carissa? should the walls be done first or the flooring?
Framing before flooring, but drywall can be done before or after flooring. Either way you want a small gap between the drywall and the floor. Then the final trim covers that gap
You should do a garage makeover!
Did you guys paint the duct work? And did you tape and spackle the sheet rock yourselves?
It looks good, but working in a basement could be really depressive. I´d love to have a basement or any kind of little room for all kind of things I have no place for store. Good job !!!
Great video 😊 how much total budget of that basement?
Beautiful!
Looks so good!!
Did you have to follow any certain code when framing up those walls?
I love this :) What paint colour did you use?
Beautiful floors! Do you remember how much it was to do the whole basement floor?
That is so much work!! It is such a transformation!
Love this! Where did you get the lights
It looks amazing!
Don’t know if you got a haircut but it’s looks super pretty lady(:
Yes gorgeous!!! 💛
Hi, do you still get dust a lot not having the ceiling finished?
Also your hair is so cute
Did you have to do over the floor or level it at all.. thinking of redoing my basement myself however I'm not sure if I have to level it and put in a sump pump
Our floor was already lvl enough and we already had a sump pump in the storage area
What doyou call those lights? The one with the ballast? Nice turnout!
