What I always find interesting in these interviews from that era is that everybody speaks on Jay Z's involvement somehow but you almost NEVER here Jay Z himself speak on anyone. I guess for one, Jay don't really do interviews like this, and two, maybe its cause he's the one who rose to the top? idk. I'd love to hear thoughts on this.
He has nothing to gain from doing interviews like this. There's always the possibility that something he says gets twisted and then he's in a worse place than where he started. It would be cool for us but I don't see any reason to do it for him.

jay z is my favorite and everything he does now is obviously bigger than music, but man letting Rocafella fall was a big mistake. Puffy had bad boy almost 30 years and it's iconic. roc nation just doesn't hold the same weight as Rocafella and that iconic logo and chain.
