Remembering Fred Dibnah: A British Much-Loved Character

Great Britain lost one of its greatest characters on November 6th, 2004 - Fred Dibnah the famous Steeplejack from Bolton. This film tracks a 6-month period of Fred’s life in 1991 - when he was still working as a Steeplejack - earning his living climbing up and knocking down chimneys. Made shortly after Fred’s hit BBC2 series “A Year with Fred”, it includes rare footage of the Fred Dibnah a nation came to love.
