You need to pry at the clip on the shaft a bit to widen the hole and use two long screw drivers under the blade and pry upward, it will be very stuck but it'll come off
The fan blower for the hiace are $67 on ebay , why waste time , not only do you have to drive everywhere getting parts then repairing it , not worth doing
In Central America the blower motor is between $250 - $400. So maybe in the US not worth it. But if I can get the separate motor and do it for even $50 here that would be great!
Nice... Repaired my 2006 hiace blower fan after watching your video. Thank you very much.
Nice work! Better then $300 for a new blower
Thanks for video, I was hoping for a video on how to replace the worn out bushings
project fan does work and it's installed 7-11-21 thank you
Great idea I'm on the Goldcoast and want to do this for My 2004 rav 4 would it be the same unit as this one ?
Thank you for sharing!
No worries!
How do you undo the clips? Please advise. thanks
plz tell me how to separate fan first from the motor?
I would also like to know how you did this, I cant figure out how to get the top bolt off after I remove the clip. I am too scared to break something!

Good work mate. Thanks for sharing
No problem 👍
How do you remove the top bolt on the fan assembly after you remove the clip? I cant quite figure it out. Thank you!
I positioned mine over a bucket and knocked it out with a screw driver and a hammer. worked a treat
Take it to a local mechanic & get them to watch the video
Does it matter in which direction the blower is blowing in? Right or left? Will I still feel breeze?
Not really as it's spinning 360 or 180 will also blow, I spun in the direction opposite to the screw thread so it would not undo
Good video thanks mate.
Where did you buy the motor?
Eaby
Brilliant thanks 👍
My pleasure!

In Aust it expensive for a 2nd hand blower & you are just getting worn out brushes that can't be changed.
Parts are cheaper in America. I live in Germany and getting one here is a pain. I ordered from Amazon US.
