Right on Brother!!! Thanks so much. Auto shop wanted $200 to put this in. Blower was only $39.00 bucks! Really appreciate your video. I'm still going to get that cleaner so I can clear the switch too. 👍!!!
You're welcome! I'm glad the video is helpful! I struggle with repairs like this and always hope to find a vid on yt to help me out. So I try to put some up if I can. The cleaner worked for me for a while but it didn't fix the switch forever. The issue comes back and then I spray the switch again. Hopefully your switch works better!
Wow thats a rare pickup with no a/c. Thanks for the video, most helpful info on spraying the contacts and how to reinstall the fan back in. Have a good one.
Easy, to the point. Thanks for posting this video. I just bought a 93 toyota winnebago warrior and the fan only blows on high, and judging by the sound, there's junk in the blower. Now I know what I've got to do. The tip about clocking the blower properly is gonna save me a lot of cussing lol.
Super! This close up view you give helps me as I'm gonna have to clean out or maybe even repair my blower motor fan assembly in my 92 4runner. I think mice did load up a pile of debris in the blower in mine.. -enought that the recirc/fresh air control door isn't freely moving.
The previous owner of my '94 probably could've used this vid. The outside of my blower motor looks to be an aftermarket replacement, and for the 7 years I've had my truck, it's always looks crooked down there. Still works a-ok. I'll have to see if I can get those screws/connectors out and get it fully seated into the bottom of the HVAC box.
was your switch stuck before you sprayed it, and this freed it? my switch get stuck up at med-fast and won't go past. trying to do what i can to get around having to get in there and replace it.
My 1981 Toyota pickup blower motor does not work after a over charging issue. Fixed that but my blower motor doesn’t work anymore. Could it be the resistor that blew? Because I did turn it on when it was at 16+ volts yikes

your video is the BEST!!!! Clear, detail instruction. "Thanks a Million"
Thank you so much. That back screw is a bugger. I found it easier to reach after I unplugged the computer module and removing it.

Thanks this works on a 94 with AC as well
Great explanations, very helpful!
Thanks!! Gonna give that cleaner a try first!
My 89 yota 2wd heat and air works but only on med high & high , hope I can get it fixed out asap lol
Thanks for the video, fyi @ 3:43, it is possible to remove the resistor without removing the blower, .

Whats the issue if it only blows on high.......... but the heat and cold air do work fine
Could be the switch, or could be the resistor pack. Try a plastics-safe contact cleaner on the switch first. NAPA should have the cleaner.
are the fuses for the fan up in there by the fan also sir?
No, there are no fuses up there as far as I know.
Two fuses and a relay to the right of the fan by the passenger door.
Amazing

my switch moved freely before I sprayed it ... I doubt the spray by itself would unstick the switch but it wouldn't hurt anything if you tried it.

Yikes! Yeah, resistor pack might have died.
Ey men. Can you make a video on how to replace the switch turn signal and wipers switch on that same truck 93 Toyota pick up thank you
