I have had the M1 Mac mini for almost 2 months now and its been amazing. As I start my data science degree in fall I am looking to use it more and more. Apple is going in the right direction finally

owning the base model of 8GB RAM and 256 storage. in 99% of cases, I'm satisfied and not regret purchasing this at all. in 1% cases, I found that 8GB is still not enough for my use cases of heavy Google Chrome browsing & using web app. but all in all, it's perfect laptop for my usage.

This is amazingly edited. I have this exact MacBook Air. It’s the m1 16gb model. It’s basically perfect even to me, a neurotic crazy person with ocd, it honestly is perfect. I will say though, the 400 nits of brightness can be underwhelming, and I think force touch on the trackpad is maybe not that cool but hey you can turn it off so that’s no problem at all. I have no performance issues without a fan, it only gets hot if it’s on a blanket playing runescape, and the battery continues to stun me. Get it. Anyone have the pro?
One of my biggest regrets in life was using Premiere pro in high school video editing class (The teacher made fun of it constantly) and teaching it to my friend. Now he won't switch to anything else. I try to get him to try Davinci Resolve (He has windows) but he is stubborn.
Nice editing shots! Honestly M1 isn't for me, I just decided to get a Leigon 5 pro because of the display and GPU but M1 is a good choice for editors and students.
hahah i dont really do CAD or any video editing. I heard the Ryzen 5800h is similar to M1 in editing, but I mainly got the 5 pro since I wanted a larger display to view content and do school. I also bought it since it had a GPU so I could game on it.
Since when does 150 hours of use became a long term review? 150 hours i really do complete in about two weeks man , coding for sometimes 10 hrs a day .

@@hobosnake1 my daily use cases is 20+ Chrome tabs. I'm using an external monitor, so 10 on my laptop, 10 on the monitor
