Corner machining feature is very useful if you are doing heavy rouging with the 100 degree corner of your OD roughing tool. This feature makes it easy to define stock for when you want to square the shoulders and turn with the 80 degree corner of CNMG. In this case, to square a corner you are not turning a rectangular cross sectional area, but only the triangular cross section = 1/2 the time saved!
