I honestly thought that those alarms could only be ceiling mount because of how they look so round like ceiling Advances. Its cool to see them mounted on the walls like that.
My high school has that same system, however it has SPSWs, SWs, SPWs, and SPSCWs with 1 disconnected System Sensor Non-ADA MASS. The slow whoop is repeated thrice.
Those look like what the Springfield, Vt theater got in the early-2010s, after the major renovation. But it has a Silent Knight IFP-1000, and I don't know the evacuation tone.
@@FourtyFiftyEighty I love Simplex to death but yeah the back of their speakers are just like Wheelock. I hate those with a passion. The E70/E90 are a nightmare to install. But they work fine once you get past the terrible screws they give, and all the ground faults youll get trying to cram everything in there with the lip of the extension ring scraping everything LOL. They both need to take notes from System Sensor and OLD Siemens Cerberus Pyrotronics/Faraday and redesign them. I hate how siemens stuck with rebranding wheelock
@@FourtyFiftyEighty The Gentex SSPK2415WR Speaker Strobes made in are worse than these one's in the video here as they're floor mount devices due to their bad design as the fire lettering is only meant to be read correctly if it's installed on the floor which I don't know why how fire alarm technicians care about thoes devices being installed on the wall as they're wall mount devices as you can't read the fire lettering. But thankfully later, Gentex discontinued the devices and introduced the SSPK24WLPR Speaker Strobes with the proper fire lettering as you can read it when it's installed on the wall correctly so the new ones are kinda terrible in design but not as bad than the old ones. Here's a video of a bunch of Gentex floor mount SSPK2415WR Speaker Strobes shown by a fire alarm collector: th-cam.com/video/XFRUTNj6nxc/w-d-xo.html
Gentex do be making good shit though lowkey. I think their mounting system is especially well thought out and easy.
those gentex alarms look really cool
This fire alarm roams my mind when I am alone 🥶
A shop in Mississippi had the same setup but instead of a notifier panel it was a simplex 4002 with some sort of silent knight voice panel
cool sounding alarms
this is the exact system my old school used. except it didn’t have the ceiling mount ones.
The Movie theater near me has a simplex 4010 with a 4003.
The other one has a silent knight.

Gentex will always be solid!
Nice

I like notifier it cool
Seems like the PA system is not hooked up with the voice evac
It needs to so it can be more louder
What does bell test do
No ad okay
And why is it called bell test its not a bell
The speaker strobes are very ugly. System needs to be replaced with a Simplex 4100ES.
Shut up, it does not
Dont diss Gentex like that
They’re kinda ugly yeah. Simplex is worse tho!!!! Speakers stick way farther into the back boxes!!!
